4 The Bad Man Bullied Her Again!!

Sang Ran opened her eyes, and the first thing that came into view was a magnified handsome face. His striking, deep-set features were not as sharp when he was asleep.

Sang Ran didn’t have time to admire his breathtaking looks. Seeing his hand resting on her waist, she shoved him away with force.Full novel: Tender Little Wife! Kissed to Tears by the Gloomy Yandere — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Fu Chenyan was pushed awake. He frowned slightly and opened a pair of pitch-black eyes, pupils as cold as ice.

“You… why are you in my bed? Didn’t you say we were sleeping in separate rooms? You don’t keep your word. You’re not just a big bad guy, you’re a big liar too.”

Sang Ran’s eyelashes trembled slightly. A moment later, tears welled up in her eyes. She curled up in the corner hugging her knees, her long hair trailing all the way onto the gray bedsheets.

Fu Chenyan raised a hand and rubbed his brow, looking indifferent. “Last night, you were the one who hugged me, treating me as your rabbit. Besides, I didn’t do anything. I wouldn’t stoop to bullying a… doll.”

His voice remained cold, though it softened slightly when he said the last three words.

Sang Ran gently bit her lip. Last night, she did seem to have hugged her rabbit… Could it have been Fu Chenyan?

(,, . ,,)

“I’m sorry. I mistook you for my rabbit.”

“It’s fine.”

Fu Chenyan said those two words flatly, then stood up. His robe hung loosely on his body, revealing a stretch of his chest, and further down, his firm abdominal muscles.

Sang Ran caught a glimpse unintentionally and immediately covered her eyes with both hands. Her fair face flushed red, glowing with an unnatural heat.

“You… why aren’t you dressed properly?”

“Hm?”

“Get out quickly.”

Sang Ran lifted her head, her voice sounding fierce, but it was still soft, carrying no authority at all—more like… she was acting cute.

Fu Chenyan: “This is my room.”

Only then did Sang Ran realize she was in Fu Chenyan’s room. She must have gone to the wrong place last night… She had actually walked into Fu Chenyan’s room.

With red ears, Sang Ran scrambled off the bed and hurried out of the room barefoot.

She hadn’t taken two steps when a strong arm scooped her up. Her feet left the ground, and she turned back in a daze, her dark eyes looking at the man behind her.

“You haven’t put on your shoes yet. Where are you running off to?”

The next second, Sang Ran was set down on the soft bed.

Fu Chenyan’s gaze swept across the two white cotton slippers on the floor—one had been tossed near the doorway, the other by the wall.

Fu Chenyan: “…”

He bent down, picked up the slippers, and placed them on the floor. “Put them on.”

Sang Ran obediently put on her shoes. She was still wearing a thin black shirt that hung down past her thighs.

Fu Chenyan’s gaze swept over her. From his angle, he could just see a hint of pale white skin at her chest.

He silently turned away, his Adam’s apple bobbing slightly, and said in a low voice, “Get dressed properly too.”

Sang Ran nodded, let out an “oh,” and only then looked down at her clothes—only to realize her shirt… was unbuttoned!

Sang Ran immediately covered her chest and cautiously glanced at Fu Chenyan. He had already averted his eyes.

“You…”

Fu Chenyan coughed lightly. “I’ll go change first. I had someone prepare clothes last night—I’ll bring them to you.”

“Okay.”

Sang Ran sat back down on the bed, but the next second she realized—this was Fu Chenyan’s room. This was Fu Chenyan’s bed.

Sang Ran got up from the bed and recalled the scene from this morning: Fu Chenyan holding her in his arms, those slender, well-defined fingers resting on her waist.

Sang Ran puffed up her cheeks in anger, lifted her foot, and kicked at Fu Chenyan’s bedding, muttering under her breath with each kick, “Bad man, bad man!”

This scene happened to land right in the eyes of Fu Chenyan, who had just walked in. His tightly pressed lips curved into a faint, barely perceptible smile.

“Hm? Bad man?”

Sang Ran turned around and met those dark, gloomy pupils. Her body trembled, and she shut her mouth, her black butterfly-like lashes fluttering slightly, as if she was terrified of the man before her.

Fu Chenyan had already changed his clothes. He walked closer slowly, his tall and straight figure towering over her.

Sang Ran instinctively stepped back twice. Finally, her legs hit the bed, and she sat down directly on it.

The man’s shadow enveloped Sang Ran. She leaned back slightly. “You…”

Fu Chenyan bent down, one hand propped beside Sang Ran. His magnified handsome face suddenly leaned in close, close enough to clearly see his skin and his long, drooping lashes.

“Speaking ill of people behind their backs?”

“I didn’t.”

Sang Ran shook her head gently, her dark eyes darting around, looking somewhat guilty.

“No?”

“Mm.”

Sang Ran nodded. Suddenly, her cheek was lightly pinched by cool fingers. Before Sang Ran could react, the fingers had already left her face.

Sang Ran pouted her pink lips and touched her pinched cheek, muttering to herself, “Bad man.”

Fu Chenyan, that bad man, had bullied her again!!

“Don’t think I didn’t hear that. The clothes I prepared for you—go change into them.”

Fu Chenyan stepped away from Sang Ran and handed her the clothes he was holding. It was a pink dress with a bow at the waist, and the skirt cascaded down in layer after layer.

“Thank you.”

Sang Ran took the dress. It seemed to suit her taste, as a faint smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

“We’ll go downstairs for a meal in a bit. After that, you’ll come with me to the old residence.”

“Back to the old residence?”

Sang Ran was momentarily stunned, but her father was supposed to come pick her up later.

“I… I can’t…”

Fu Chenyan furrowed his brows slightly and asked, “Why not?”

“I… I’m not feeling well.”

Fu Chenyan softened his tone. “Dad wants to see you. You know about his condition.”

Sang Ran hesitated for a moment, then nodded. “Alright, I’ll go with you to see Grandpa Fu.”

She would just go back tomorrow instead. Grandpa Fu had a terminal illness. At the thought, Sang Ran lowered her head, hoping that Grandpa Fu would live a long life.

“You… why haven’t you left yet? I need to change.”

Fu Chenyan raised a sharp brow.

“This is my room.”

Sang Ran let out a soft “Oh” and picked up the clothes, ready to head outside. The next second, Fu Chenyan had already left the room, closing the door behind him.

Sang Ran held the dress in one hand and scratched her head with the other, muttering quietly, “What a strange person. Not only strange, but he likes to bully people too.”

She touched her face, the spot where Fu Chenyan had touched earlier. A faint red mark had already appeared on her fair skin.
