The Stray Devils answered with a collective roar.

Several of them lunged at him at once, their claws tearing through the air as their bodies moved with unnatural speed, but Ren didn’t move immediately.

He simply watched them approach, his eyes calmly following every movement as The Almighty showed him exactly what was going to happen.Full novel: The Almighty. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The first Devil was coming from his left, another was attacking from above, a third was aiming for his back, while another was preparing some kind of demonic attack from across the room.

Ren finally stepped forward.

The first claw passed harmlessly beside his face as he tilted his head just enough to avoid it before driving his elbow into the Devil’s ribs.

The impact folded its body around his arm, and before it could recover, Ren grabbed it by the head and slammed it into the floor with enough force to crack the concrete beneath its skull.

Before the creature could even move, Ren’s saber flashed through the air, cleanly separating its head from its body as it rolled across the floor.

『A/N: He’s holding back.

I DID NOT NERF HIM』

Another Devil immediately came from above, its enormous claws descending toward him with enough force to crush his entire body.

Ren simply raised one hand, causing the creature to suddenly stop in midair as its entire body trembled under an invisible force.

He slowly closed his fingers, and the Devil’s body twisted violently before being hurled across the room like a rag doll, smashing through two others before crashing into the wall.

“Too slow.”

A burst of demonic energy suddenly exploded behind him, but Ren didn’t even turn around because he already knew where it would land.

He simply stepped aside, allowing a massive beam of dark energy to tear past him and obliterate a section of the wall behind him.

Ren glanced over his shoulder at the Devil responsible and gave it a bored look.

“That was close.”

The Devil stared at him in confusion, unable to understand how he had avoided the attack without even looking.

Before it could react, Ren disappeared, and for a split second, the creature couldn’t see him anywhere.

The next moment, Ren appeared directly in front of it with his fist buried deep in its stomach, the sheer force launching the Devil backward through the room and smashing it through a table.

Ren appeared above it before it could recover and brought his knee down with brutal force.

The Devil hit the ground hard enough to create a crater beneath its body, and Ren landed beside it before calmly finishing it with a single slash.

Another one rushed him from behind, but Ren ducked without looking, its claws passing harmlessly over his head before he spun around and drove his saber through its chest.

The Devil screamed as Ren pulled the blade free and kicked it away.

“Next.”

Three more charged together, moving with enough coordination that they might have overwhelmed an ordinary supernatural being.

This time, however, Ren didn’t wait for them to reach him.

His body vanished, and the first Devil suddenly found itself staring at empty air before Ren appeared behind it and sliced across its back.

Before the creature could fall, Ren stepped onto its shoulder and launched himself forward, his saber spinning once in his hand before cutting cleanly through the second Devil’s neck.

The third Devil opened its mouth wide, preparing to bite down on him, but Ren caught its upper jaw with one hand.

The creature tried desperately to close its mouth, yet it couldn’t even move his arm.

Ren tightened his fingers around its jaw and gave it a disappointed look.

“Bad breath.”

He slammed its jaw upward with enough force to snap its head backward before driving his saber straight through its chest.

Ren ripped the blade free and turned toward the rest of the room, only to find even more Devils charging toward him.

The room had become a battlefield.

Devils crawled across the walls while others charged from the floor, some firing blasts while others relied purely on their monstrous bodies.

Ren moved through all of them like he already knew the choreography, well he did.

Idk I wrote that.

Every attack, every movement, every possible outcome had already appeared before his eyes, allowing him to move through the chaos with almost effortless precision.

A claw came from the right, and Ren ducked beneath it.

A blast came from behind, and he stepped forward before it could reach him, while another Devil attempted to grab him from the side.

Ren caught its wrist, used its momentum against it, and spun around before throwing the creature directly into another Devil.

BAM!

Both crashed into the wall, and before either could recover, Ren appeared between them.

His saber flashed twice in quick succession, leaving two lifeless bodies collapsing to the floor.

A larger Devil suddenly charged through the chaos, its massive body tearing through everything in its path.

Ren didn’t retreat and instead planted his feet firmly against the ground as the Devil swung its enormous arm toward him.

Ren caught it with one hand, the impact pushing his shoes backward several meters and leaving deep lines across the concrete floor.

The Devil snarled as it pushed harder, trying to overpower him, but Ren simply looked up at its monstrous face.

A small smile appeared beneath the black energy covering his face.

His body suddenly surged forward, violently redirecting the Devil’s arm as Ren twisted its wrist and sent the massive creature crashing onto its side.

He jumped onto its back and brought his saber down in a single clean motion.

SHING!

The Devil went completely still.

Ren stepped off its corpse and looked around the room, only for his attention to be drawn toward a low growl coming from the back.

One of the larger Stray Devils stood there, unlike the others, having never attacked.

It had simply been watching the entire fight unfold, its body covered in dark scales and twisted muscle while several large horns protruded from its skull and wide wings on its back.

The demonic energy surrounding it was significantly stronger than the others, enough to make the air around it feel heavy.

Ren looked at it.

‘ A hybrid?’

The Devil looked back.

Then it roared.

The pressure released from its body shook the room, sending dust falling from the ceiling, yet Ren completely calm.

The Devil disappeared.

Ren smirked ‘ Pretty fast, unlike the rest’

A massive fist appeared directly in front of his face, Ren raised his saber just in time to block it.

BOOM!

The impact sent him flying backward, his body smashing through a concrete pillar before he stopped himself in midair.

Dust filled the room as the Devil charged through the cloud without hesitation, determined to finish the fight.

Ren slowly smiled.

“Okay.

Upscale for you I guess.

The slander is about to go crazy”

『A/N : He let that happen.

And just To remind you.

He’s holding back』

The Devil swung again, Ren leaned backward, allowing the fist to pass inches above his face before stepping forward and driving his shoulder directly into its chest.

The Devil barely moved, immediately retaliating with a knee, Ren caught the attack and twisted his body, sending the creature spinning through the air.

Ren followed it instantly, appearing above the Devil before kicking downward with enough force to send it crashing into the floor.

BOOM!

The creature smashed into the ground, creating another crater as Ren landed nearby.

Before it could recover, he was already standing above it, his saber resting casually against his shoulder.

The Devil looked up at him, and for the first time, genuine fear appeared in its eyes.

Ren raised his saber.

“You should’ve stayed down lowkey”

The blade came down.

SHING!

The room fell silent.

The remaining Stray Devils stared at the scene in horror.

There were only a handful left now, and the moment they realized what had happened to their strongest member, they immediately turned and tried to run.

Ren watched them for a moment before sighing.

“Really?”

He raised one hand, and the fleeing Devils suddenly stopped in their tracks as invisible pressure crushed down upon them, pinning their bodies against the floor.

Ren slowly walked toward them, his footsteps echoing throughout the ruined room.

“You guys really thought I’d let you leave?”

His saber flashed repeatedly.

One after another, the remaining Devils fell.

Within minutes, the entire room was silent.

Bodies covered the floor, blood stained the walls, and the smell of death filled the air as Ren stood in the middle of it all with his blue saber dripping with blood. You are reading on NovelPing, the official source.

He slowly looked around the room, confirming that there was no more demonic energy, no more movement, and no more survivors.

“Alright.”

The black energy slowly disappeared from his face, and his eyes returned to normal.

Ren looked at the destroyed room for a few seconds before shrugging.

“…That was actually pretty fun.”

He casually dismissed his saber before looking toward the stairway.

“Now I just have to clean this place up.”

Ren snapped his fingers, sending a faint pulse of energy throughout the underground floor.

The blood, bodies, destroyed furniture, and every other trace of the battle began disappearing, fading away as though they had never existed.

Within seconds, the horrifying scene was completely erased.

Ren shoved both hands into his pockets and looked around at the spotless room.

“Much better.”

With that, he casually walked back toward the stairs, leaving the former Stray Devil brothel completely silent behind him.

Immediately, Ren’s expression changed as the black energy spread across his face again, covering it with the strange pattern of multiple eyes.

He stopped halfway up the stairs and glanced toward the entrance, already sensing several familiar presences approaching.

‘They’re here again,’ he thought, letting out a quiet sigh.

A moment later, Rias and her peerage stormed down the stairs, clearly expecting to find whatever Stray Devils had been hiding below.

However, the moment they reached the bottom, they suddenly stopped.

Ren was standing there.

For several seconds, neither side said anything.

Rias stared at the strange figure standing in the middle of the cleaned-up room while Ren calmly stared back at her through the black energy covering his face.

Then, without saying a single word, Ren vanished.

Kiba blinked in surprise before looking toward Rias.

“Was that him?”

“It had to be,” Rias replied immediately as she slowly walked farther into the room, her eyes scanning the area.

There was almost nothing left behind from the battle, not even the bodies that should have been scattered across the floor.

“He cleaned up the scene,” she said, narrowing her eyes.

“That’s new.”

Akeno followed behind her, looking around curiously before giving a small nod.

“He has never done that before.

But at least we finally got to see him for once.”

Rias remained silent for a moment, clearly thinking about the encounter.

They had been chasing the mysterious supernatural responsible for the incidents around Kuoh for months, yet every time they arrived, he was already gone.

“I need to report this to my brother,” Rias finally said.

“Maybe he has a clue about who we’re dealing with.”

She looked toward the stairs where Ren had disappeared.

“Also, from the clothes he was wearing, it’s clear that he’s from our school.”

Kiba’s expression changed slightly.

“You think he’s a student?”

Rias nodded.

“Yes.

And if that’s true…” She narrowed her eyes slightly.

“We’ve probably been walking past him this entire time without realizing it.”
