The moment Wen Yu’s lips met hers, he lost control. He had intended to take it slow, not wanting to frighten her, but her lips were so soft—he wanted more.

Wen Yu’s kiss grew increasingly forceful as he parted her lips and tongue, invading her territory.

Ning Weiying clearly couldn’t withstand his intensity. Before long, she began pounding on his chest, pushing against him.Full novel: The Big Shot Tricked Me Into a Flash Marriage, and Now I’m Pampered and Spoiled — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Wen Yu seemed not to notice, kissing her even more fiercely instead.

After what felt like an eternity, Wen Yu released her, and the young girl leaned against him, gasping for breath.

Wen Yu carried her out and pressed her beneath him. “Are you scared?” he whispered low against her ear.

Ning Weiying gave a slight shake of her head and actively wrapped her arms around his neck on her own. Wen Yu’s eyes turned bloodshot, as if he could no longer hold back. He lowered his head to capture her lips, his hands busy as well—one slender, well-defined hand slipped beneath the hem of her nightgown, while the other clasped her wrist and pinned it above her head.

His hand traveled upward, and when he touched something, his eyes darkened. “Mm~” Ning Weiying let out an involuntary whimper—mainly because he was too rough, and it hurt.

“Be gentler,” Ning Weiying turned her head away to dodge his kiss.

“Okay.” He did ease the pressure in his hand, then released it and slid it downward. She felt a chill across her chest as her nightgown was pushed up, and then his face buried itself there.

Ning Weiying could clearly sense what was happening before her, but she couldn’t speak, only lay beneath him, at his mercy. Suddenly, the young girl in his arms let out a soft moan, her voice trembling from beneath him—trembling straight into his heart.

Wen Yu released the softness before him and kissed his way downward. Ning Weiying kept whimpering, her originally pale face gradually flushing with red, carrying an indescribable allure.

“Not there~” The girl was flustered and angry, lifting her leg to kick him. How could he kiss her everywhere?

Wen Yu reached out and caught the leg that came at him, so fast she had no time to react. Before her hand could even reach him, it fell limply, and her body began to tremble. Wen Yu raised his head, looking at his precious treasure beneath him, feeling like he was about to explode.

Wen Yu gathered his little wife into his arms, kissing her cheek to soothe her. Ning Weiying could certainly feel what was happening, and her face went pale with fright.

“Wen Yu~” Alright, she was scared.

“Mm, what did you call me?”

“A—Ah Yu?”

“Mm, sweetheart, think again.”

Why was he so wicked, forcing her like this?

“Husband~”

“Good girl, will it be okay if your husband is gentle, hm?”

“Mm~” Two voices sounded at once; neither of them was having an easy time.

Wen Yu looked down and sighed. Ah, it was his fault for being too hasty.

“Baby, can you bear with it for a moment?”

“Ah!” Didn’t he say he’d be gentle? Sob, he lied.

Ning Weiying was crying, Wen Yu was coaxing her. He didn’t move—not out of pity, but because he couldn’t…

Only when Ning Weiying felt a little better did he dare to move.

…

Three in the morning.

Wen Yu carried his precious out of the bathroom. Ning Weiying had long since lost consciousness. He changed her into her nightgown and held her as they slept.

Early morning.

Wen Yu was woken by the heat. He felt as if he were holding a furnace. He turned on the lamp and saw that the girl’s face was flushed with an unnatural red, her body burning hot, and she kept burrowing deeper into the blankets.

Wen Yu grabbed his phone to make a call, then went to the bathroom for a cold towel.

“Hurry, get over here—my wife has a fever,” Wen Yu said frantically, then added, “Bring a female doctor.”

Jiang Huaian didn’t even get a chance to say a word before the call was hung up on him. He resigned himself to getting out of bed and heading out—really, being dragged around at the crack of dawn.

Wen Yu placed a cold towel on Ning Weiying’s forehead, then fetched the first-aid kit to wipe her down with alcohol, helping to bring her fever down.

Ning Weiying was burning up and miserable, starting to mutter nonsense in his arms. Wen Yu held her close, soothing her gently.

“Baby, be good. The doctor will be here soon, and it won’t hurt anymore in a little while.”

Wen Yu swapped out the towel once more before Jiang Huaian finally arrived with the doctor. Seeing no one in the living room, he headed upstairs, knocked on the door, and glanced at the female doctor. He didn’t go in—after all, he couldn’t be of much help.

“The fever is severe. She’ll need an injection,” the female doctor said, looking at the thermometer.

The moment Ning Weiying heard “injection,” she started fussing. “Mm… I, I don’t want, no injection, hmph…” Her voice was weak. She was terrified of pain, terrified of needles.

“Alright, alright, no injection. Let’s just sleep, okay?” Wen Yu coaxed her, then glanced up at the female doctor.

The female doctor: …I’ll go prepare the medication.

Wen Yu watched her drift in and out of consciousness, then lifted her skirt up and pulled her underwear down just a bit, casting a quick glance.

The female doctor administered the injection under immense pressure, a thin sheen of sweat forming on her forehead. Before she could even catch her breath, she was instructed, “Give her a check-up.” He glanced at Ning Weiying after saying it.

Good thing she hadn’t woken up.

The female doctor: …I understand.

Wen Yu walked out and closed the door, finding Jiang Huaian leaning against the wall playing on his phone.

Seeing him come out, Jiang Huaian looked up and scanned him from head to toe, his gaze finally settling below the waist.

“How does she end up with a fever out of nowhere? Did you cause that?” Jiang Huaian’s voice was hoarse, laced with exhaustion, and he let out a yawn—clearly he hadn’t slept well.

Wen Yu said nothing for a long moment, then finally spoke. “Help me find a psychiatrist.” Jiang Huaian watched him lower his head, then glanced at the bedroom. “Alright.” The only person who could make him this concerned was the one lying in there.

Click.

The female doctor: “President Wen, I’ve left the medication on the nightstand. Apply it twice a day. Also, your wife’s health isn’t in the best shape—please don’t be too frequent with… marital activities. It would be best to take her for a full check-up.”

Just then, Wen Moci walked out of his room, still in his SpongeBob pajamas. He opened the door and saw Wen Yu. “Bro, what’s for breakfast?” Then he spotted Jiang Huaian and greeted him, “Hi, Huaian-ge.”

Eat, eat, eat—that’s all he ever thinks about.

“See the doctor out,” Wen Yu said to Wen Moci, who escorted her downstairs.

No sooner had she left than Song Jianshen arrived.

“Oh, you’re here too. Where’s Yu-ge?”

“Upstairs, comforting his wife,” Jiang Huaian said, sitting on the couch playing games without even looking up.

“Oh.” Almost forgot—he was married.

“So what are you doing here?”

“His wife has a fever. I’m here to save the day.” Since he was already here, might as well stay for a meal.

“A fever? That wasn’t him, was it?”

Jiang Huaian shot him a look, and Song Jianshen caught on instantly. Heh.

Wen Moci walked to the entryway to change his shoes. Ugh, his brother getting married was exhausting him.

“Where are you off to this early?” Song Jianshen asked him.

“My brother told me to go buy breakfast. He’s upstairs taking care of my sister-in-law, so he’s not cooking.”

Song Jianshen: …He’d come just to mooch a meal, and now there was nothing to eat.

Wen Moci grabbed his keys and headed out, leaving the two grown men on the couch playing games.

Upstairs.

Wen Yu was wiping the sweat off Ning Weiying—the medication had kicked in, and she was starting to sweat it out.

He changed her clothes again, then fed her water.

“Baby, open your mouth.” She obediently opened her mouth, but she wouldn’t drink the water.

Wen Yu had no choice but to feed her mouth-to-mouth, and after finishing, he coaxed her back to sleep.

Downstairs

“Does your brother’s situation—do your godparents know about it?” Song Jianshen asked Wen Moci with a shrimp dumpling stuffed in his mouth.

Jiang Huaian quietly perked up his ears.
