As they walked out of the company gates, Wen Yu noticed his precious darling staring intently at one spot. Following her gaze, he saw a milk tea shop. Wen Yu raised an eyebrow—she’d been frightened today, so he might as well buy her one. With that pitiful look in her eyes, she seemed about to cry if she didn’t get it.

Wen Yu wrapped an arm around her and walked over, letting her pick one. Ning Weiying ordered a hand-mashed taro milk green tea—an extra-large cup at that. Wen Yu’s expression soured slightly when he saw her grab such a big cup, but he said nothing, paid, and led her toward the car.

He watched her gulping it down happily. The girl leaned back in her seat, eyes half-closed, drinking with pure contentment on her face. But when he saw she’d already finished more than half, he slowly leaned closer. “Baby, let hubby have a sip, okay?”Full novel: The Big Shot Tricked Me Into a Flash Marriage, and Now I’m Pampered and Spoiled — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ning Weiying looked up at him, then brought the straw to his lips. Wen Yu looked at the milk tea by his mouth. Ha, so easy to fool.

Ning Weiying thought he’d only take one sip, but she never expected that one sip of his would finish off all the remaining milk tea. Ning Weiying stared at the empty cup in her hand, then looked at the culprit. Her little lips pouted, and she burst into tears.

“Wuwuwu, didn’t you say just one sip? How could you drink it all? I—I haven’t had enough yet! If you wanted some, why didn’t you buy your own? Wuwuwu…” The girl’s tears fell in big droplets, crying without stop.

Wen Yu hadn’t expected her to cry so hard. All he could do was comfort her, pulling her onto his lap and coaxing her endlessly. But the girl only cried harder instead of calming down.

“Baby, be good. I’ll buy you another one tomorrow, okay? There, there, no more crying.” He wiped her tears with his palm. How could she cry so easily?

“Then you can’t steal mine~” Ning Weiying’s voice was still thick with tears as she sniffled in his arms.

“Alright, alright, I won’t steal it. It’s all yours.” Wen Yu lowered his head and kissed her rosy cheek. This little girl was so hard to soothe. Look at her crying—her little face was all red.

“Hubby just didn’t want you to drink too much and skip dinner. How about we drink it after meals from now on?” Wen Yu reasoned with her in a serious tone, trying to prove he had her best interests at heart.

“Okay.” Ning Weiying answered obediently, actually taking it to heart.

“What do you want for dinner?” Wen Yu held his little sweetheart in his arms, looking thoroughly satisfied. He had to make sure she ate well tonight—after all, there was some physical labor ahead.

“Hmm, I want those chicken feet again. As for the rest, I’m not picky.” The girl’s small hand clutched his shirt, her little head resting against his chest, having completely forgotten about the milk tea incident.

“Alright.” Wen Yu acknowledged, then took out his phone and messaged Wen Moci, telling him to go buy the chicken feet. After all, he didn’t eat that stuff himself—previously, Wen Moci would go out and buy it on his own when he craved it.

That wouldn’t work anymore. He needed to learn. He couldn’t keep letting her eat outside food.

On the other side—

Wen Moci and Zhou Yi had just finished playing basketball and were gaming at home when they received the emperor’s command. He tossed down his controller and went to put on his shoes.

“Hey, we’re not done yet! Where are you going?” Zhou Yi’s slightly annoyed voice rang out.

“Going to buy food for Her Majesty the Empress.” Wen Moci said it with complete composure, as if he’d done this many times before.

“So you’re not eating here?” Zhou Yi stood up and walked over to him.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be here tomorrow morning.” With that, he gave him a meaningful look.

“I’m straight.” Zhou Yi said, taking two steps back.

“What are you talking about? I’m off.” Hmph, as if he wasn’t.

After buying the chicken feet, Wen Moci spotted the barbecue stand and went to grab a “few skewers” of barbecue, then headed home with his goodies, looking quite pleased with himself.

“Bro, sis-in-law, I’m back!” Wen Moci changed his shoes at the entrance and carried the food to the dining room.

Wen Yu was cooking in the kitchen, and Ning Weiying was lying on the living room sofa reading a comic. Actually, the moment Wen Moci walked in, she could smell the aroma. She’d initially thought about going over to help him carry it, but she sat back down instead—no, she needed to maintain her composure.

“Did you buy barbecue?” Screw composure—it wasn’t something she could eat anyway. That barbecue smelled amazing.

“Yeah, sis-in-law, go ahead and eat first!” He set the barbecue on the table and went to the kitchen to grab a plate for the chicken feet.

Ning Weiying certainly didn’t stand on ceremony. She sat down on the chair and started chowing down on the skewers. So delicious (><)

“Wen Moci, come get the dishes!” Wen Moci had just sat down and hadn’t even started eating when he heard His Majesty calling him. He put down the barbecue he’d just picked up and headed to the kitchen.

Braised fish, cola chicken wings, beef meatball soup, and tomato scrambled eggs.

Seeing all that, the barbecue in his hand suddenly lost its appeal. He set down his skewer and sat obediently waiting to eat.

Wen Moci held a skewer of barbecue in one hand and chopsticks in the other, digging into the cola chicken wings. Say what you will, but his brother’s cola chicken wings were absolutely top-notch.

He’d been playing ball all afternoon and was starving. Ugh, only his big brother cared about him.

Wen Yu: I made that for my wife. Why are you eating it so enthusiastically?

“Once you’re done eating, go upstairs and study,” Wen Yu said, then picked up a cola chicken wing and placed it on Ning Weiying’s plate.

“Got it, got it.” Wen Moci looked up and shot Ning Weiying a sympathetic glance. As a fellow man, he obviously knew what his brother was planning. He just felt bad for his sister-in-law. Ning Weiying was busy eating and didn’t notice Wen Moci’s look.

To avoid delaying his brother’s plans, he wolfed down his food and ran upstairs.

“I’m done eating!” He said, about to head to the living room, but Wen Yu pulled him back.

“Why so little? Eat a bit more.” He hadn’t even finished his bowl of rice.

She’d just eaten barbecue and had milk tea earlier—how much more could she possibly eat?

But Wen Yu still force-fed her a few bites. He was also worried about overstuffing her, so after a few mouthfuls, he stopped and let her go play on her own.

After Wen Yu finished eating, he put the dishes in the dishwasher and went to the living room.

“Baby, let’s go rest, okay?” Wen Yu sat down beside her and gently massaged her little belly.

“But it’s not even nine o’clock yet.” Ning Weiying leaned against him, watching her anime.

“By the time you shower and get ready for bed, it won’t be early anymore.”

“But—” I’m not sleepy yet. Before she could finish her sentence, Wen Yu scooped her up and carried her toward the bedroom.

“No! Put me down!” Ning Weiying flailed around in his arms, and her leg accidentally brushed against something. Wen Yu’s body stiffened. “Don’t move.” His low, husky voice sounded right by her ear, and she froze. She could feel the change in Wen Yu. She might not have eaten pork before, but she’d seen pigs run—she knew exactly where she’d just touched.

Once back in the bedroom, Ning Weiying wriggled out of his embrace and bolted for the bathroom. She was afraid that if she was even a second too slow, he’d end up showering with her.

Wen Yu watched the little girl flee in panic and shook his head with a smile. Then he grabbed his clothes and went to the guest bathroom to shower.

After Wen Yu finished showering and returned to the bedroom, he didn’t see Ning Weiying. Hearing the sound of running water from the bathroom, it seemed she wasn’t done yet.

He sat on the bed reading a book, waiting for her.

Wen Yu snapped the book shut and tossed it aside. Fuck, he couldn’t focus on reading at all—his mind was filled with the girl’s hazy silhouette, her graceful curves.

He got up and walked toward the bathroom. “Baby, are you almost done?” Wen Yu called out from outside the door.

“Almost, I’m just drying my hair,” Ning Weiying replied.

Without a second thought, Wen Yu walked straight in. He took the hairdryer from her hands, hooked his hands under her armpits, and lifted her onto the counter. The girl’s hands naturally rested on his shoulders as she watched him dry her hair for her.

After Wen Yu finished drying her hair, he set down the hairdryer and looked at her. Fresh out of the bath, her cheeks were flushed with a rosy glow, the pink tint even spreading to the tip of her nose. Her eyes were misty and dazed, her pink lips slightly parted—she looked like a little kitten seeking comfort.

Wen Yu lowered his head and kissed those tempting lips. Damn it, if he held back any longer, he wouldn’t be human.

“Mmph—” Ning Weiying hadn’t expected him to be so eager. She pushed against him frantically, scared.
