“Cause I know you, vi. You’re my cousin after all.” I drawled while rolling my eyes.
Even though I wasn’t suspecting Vi anymore, I know her like the back of my palm, and this does sound like something she’s capable of.
Vi is a very vicious alpha female and growing up alongside her means I’ve witnessed her beat people up for doing so much as breathing beside her.
She let out a wounded sound while I pressed one more time.
“You’re sure you didn’t do it, right? And don’t lie to me.”
She shook her head firmly, her arms folded.
“I really didn’t do it. Did she tell you that?”
When I didn’t respond, a gasped disbelief left her mouth.
“How dare she?? Lying against me for what? When I’ve been nothing but nice to her! I mean, I even offered to show her around.” She spat out, her eyes enraged as she continued.
“I knew she was gonna do that at the slightest opportunity. It’s cause she’s already noticed that I am very important to you. That’s why I was against you doing this.” She cried out, continuing before I could utter a word.
I finally snorted, rolling my eyes as I tilted her face even higher.
“Relax, Vi. I just wanted to be certain you aren’t making her do certain things I didn’t order her to do. Remember that I have a very great use for her? She is remain unscathed till then.”
While I plan to punish her, I’ll be doing it myself, without involving violet.
She nodded stiffly, her lips pursed.
“Of course I remember, that’s why I’d never do anything to make her get hurt. And yet you went ahead to suspect me.”
“Dramatic much? I already told you, didn’t I? I just wanted to be certain.” I breathed, my thumb stroking her cheek while my mind wanded briefly.
This is exactly how it should be.
I don’t care if ivory suffers or not, I couldn’t care about someone like her, but for the sake of all my future plans, she just needs to remain safe.
My eyes zeroed in on violet’s face for a moment and I finally let go of her face, stepping away.
“I always forget to stop initiating physical contact like this. We aren’t kids anymore.” I drawled with a click of my tongue.
Violet giggled, her hands wrapping around my waist as she hugged me tightly.
“Please never stop, you know we’re all each other have left in this world.” She sighed out, a warm smile in her voice.
She let out a bright giggle now, the bright, familiar and soothing sound accompanying me out of the office.
On the way back to the throne room where my council members were still waiting for me, I found myself wondering why the hell ivory chose to lie to me, and what she had hoped to gain from that.
Did she forget just who I am?
Perhaps it’s because I was yet to show her just what I’m capable of?
The throne rooms doors got thrown open and I walked in, my eyes slightly widening in surprise at the sight of council members all rising on their feet, clapping loudly.
“What’s going on?” I asked slowly, looking around for any kind of clarification.
One of the alpha stepped forward and began to eagerly speak, gesturing wildly.
“We beard your bride got taken to the clinic. This must mean that she took in on your wedding night. And in other words, it means the throne is getting a heir!”
“Excuse me?” I echoed, my mind whirling from shock.
They all ceased their celebration, their eyes wary as they stared at me now.
“Uh, or perhaps were we mistaken?” Another alpha stepped forward, speaking tentatively.
“We just assumed—”
I held a hand up.
“You all assumed wrongly. That’s certainly not what happened. and not only did she not conceive on our wedding night, it’s also way too early to tell.”
I snapped as I looked between them, feeling annoyed cause I know that none of them actually wants me to get a heir or a bride.
All of this is just an act.
Cause they all wanted the throne for themselves instead.
And I also feel disgusted at the thought of having a kid with someone as messed up as ivory.
Now that I know just what she’s capable of, I wasn’t sure how I’m gonna proceed with her.
All my council members all bowed at once, chorusing an apology which I only snorted to.
My mind quickly returned to that ridiculous wedding night we both spent together.
I had pointedly refrained from thinking about that night as much as possible, but right now, images of that night flooded my mind.
I really didn’t take a single of her body that night like I told her I wasn’t gonna.
After all, she wasn’t even my type so it wasn’t particularly hard.
Alright, it was a little troublesome, and it was cause her scent kept fucking up my head, and my fangs kept aching to sink into something warm.

I literally hate her now, and alll I should feel whenever I think about her is pure disgust and nothing more.
I faced my council members, loudly clearing my throat.
“Let’s all commence this meeting.”
We all sat around the table, with me at the very end.
After picking up from where we stopped at, we progressed fast till one of them spoke.
“We were wondering, what do you plan on doing with the women in your harem?”
My eyes twitched at that question and irritation flared within me.
This is alpha Colin, one of the ten alphas in the royal council.
He was an old geezer who is selfish, currupt, and utterly useless.
“What I chose to do with those woman is no concern of yours, Colin.” I snapped, my eyes narrowing between all of them.
“This goes out to the rest of you.”
“B- but those women were given to you by every pack, and since you’re yet to touch any of them, why don’t you distribute them to us? We can all use a little sex toy on the sid—” Alpha beau asked next and they all murmured and nodded in agreement.
A loud warning growl left my mouth and they all paled.
“I said that’s not happening so drop it.” I snapped irritatedly, my eyes narrowed and they all nodded fast, their gaze averted.
These old fools sat even more disgusting than I thought.
I’ve always know we’re at the very bottom barrel but this was still shocking.
While those women were indeed given off to me to do whatever I please with them, it had always disgusted me to touch a woman against her will, so I had never done anything like that, even though everyone outside here believes otherwise.
They all believe those powerless women have all met their deaths in my hands after I got bored with fucking each of them.

I’ve long since handed them off to violet, putting them in her care and I just know they’re in the best of hands there.
