"The moon curse?" Alpha Ezra repeated, and through his eyes, I could see the millions of thoughts crossing his mind per second. "Nonsense. If you had the moon curse, then I would have already been infected since we shared our blood at the altar. And if I was infected, then my body would’ve detected it already."

Oh, shit. I didn’t think of that. Our souls were already bound, and our blood had been shared. The moon curse could also be contracted through blood sharing. Now, the only saving grace I thought I had had been taken away from me.Full novel: The Cursed Lycan King Accidentally Marked The Wrong Sister — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

I thought I could buy myself time with this excuse, buy myself time to better think of how to escape this hell. My former pack, which I thought was the worst place ever to be, was way better than this. At least there, I could roam around freely and not be locked in a place expecting my death. Never in a million years did I think I could ever miss the Blood Moon Pack.

"However, I’ll get myself tested." His eyes darkened as he stalked even closer, his intimidating aura thickening in the room and tightening around my chest. "Lord help you if you are lying, or your death will be instant!"

With that, he turned around and walked towards the door. As he opened it, a maid appeared before him, holding a tray of food. The scraps they had been feeding me since I woke up. Dry bread that hurt my throat. Sand probably tasted better than it. And a glass of water.

Regardless of how tasteless it was, I was hungry, as the last time I had anything to eat was over twelve hours ago. My hunger was palpable in the way my stomach growled through the anxiety tightening in my belly.

The Lycan King flicked his gaze at me before returning his attention to the maid standing before him.

His next words crushed my bones to fine granules. "She’s not eating tonight. She’s not to eat again in this pack until I order it. She doesn’t deserve to have pack resources wasted on her."

"What?!" I couldn’t control myself as I snapped. "The last time I had anything to eat was twelve hours ago. I need to eat."

The Lycan King snapped his gaze at me, and for a second, I saw a hint of amusement in his expression, as though he couldn’t believe I was asking for food right now when he had almost raped and killed me.

But I was very impulsive and couldn’t help it.

"You should be grateful to still be alive. Even though that might change soon." His long Lycan canines, which sent fear shivering down my spine, slipped out from beneath his lips.

Then he returned his attention to the maid. "Leave, now!" he growled.

The girl’s hands trembled at the impact of his authority, so much that she almost dropped the tray before scurrying away.

He stepped outside and slammed the door shut behind him.

Dread consumed my entire being the moment I was alone in the room, my long fingers scraping through my scalp as I paced up and down the large room that was four times as big as the cubicle I used to sleep in back at the Blood Moon Pack.

I needed to look for a way to escape this place. The windows were sealed shut. Guards stood outside the doors. I’d be pathetically delusional if I thought I could fight the guards and escape.

My body was weak, surviving on scraps of dry bread from hours ago, and my throat was as dry as the Sahara Desert. And the heat burning through me wasn’t helping matters. Despite my pitiful condition, my pussy was constantly wet and pulsating, desperate to be filled by the one who had marked me. The one man I hated the most.

To say I was frustrated was an understatement.

As I continued pacing up and down, thinking of an escape plan, a brilliant idea suddenly came to mind.

Since I couldn’t fight the guards with my strength, I could fight them with my feminine power, right? After all, Lycans were said to be sex mongers, and the two guarding the room didn’t look like they had gotten laid in centuries.

So, I put on my best act, pulling my yellow top down to reveal part of my succulent boobies. I glanced at myself in the broken mirror to make sure I looked enticing enough.

This was a stupid idea, but it was worth giving it a shot. Taking a deep breath, I walked towards the door and pulled it open.

The guards immediately stood at attention, blocking my way. Their expressions were rigid and almost scared me away.

But I shrugged anyway and bounced my boobs a little.

My eyes scanned theirs for a reaction. Their gazes dropped to my boobs simultaneously, and the hunger in their eyes was glaring. A ghost of a smile touched my lips. My boobs had always been killer boobs. No one could resist.

Just when I thought I had ascertained victory, they tore their gazes away, and the rigid looks returned to their faces.

"Please return to your room," one of them said with a straight face.

"Don’t you want some? I would treat you nicely, you know?" I pressed my palm against the hinge of the door, shooting my hips out to show my curves and resting my other hand on my hip, hoping I looked like a sexy slut right now and not SpongeBob. Lord knew I was fighting for my life over here and knew nothing about seduction.

They glanced at each other, then one of them stepped forward and pushed me so violently that I stumbled back into the room and fell on my ass.

"Mora!" I screamed as pain seared through my billion-dollar ass.

My seduction tactic hadn’t worked. How the hell did I get out of this shithole?

All of a sudden, it started again. A roaring ball of fire seared through my stomach, spreading its wings throughout my entire body. I swear to God, my body felt like a volcano pit right now, my pussy throbbing so violently it felt like it would tear apart.

My head wasn’t spared from the fire either, my brain roasting inside my skull, so much so that I couldn’t think straight. I tugged at my hair, pulling it violently as I sought relief. But it wasn’t forthcoming, and I had been going through such torture for three days.

I sat through the pain, turning and tossing on the floor until I eventually fell asleep. The sound of the door barging open jolted me awake, and I sat up from the ground where I had slept all night.

Two guards, different from the ones who had been by the doorpost before I fell asleep, barged inside.

I didn’t even know if it was morning already, as the windows had been sealed shut, with no source of natural light entering the room.

They grabbed my arms from each side, yanking me to my feet and dragging me out of the room.

"Where are you taking me?" I screamed and squirmed to escape their hold, but they were stronger.

"You are in deep soup, werewolf girl. His Majesty has asked us to bring you in for trial," one of them said harshly, tightening his grip on my arm.

"Trial? What trial?" I asked, my heart beating rapidly against my chest.

"Attempted murder of the Lycan King," he revealed, and my eyes widened with horror.

Mora! What the hell was he talking about?
