Sukuna, having walked outside of the mall with Mirio and Tamaki, regrouped with the rest of his classmates that have also finished shopping.

Nejire immediately clapped her hands, gathering everybody’s attention, as she spoke.

“Alright, now that we’re done shopping, do you guys want to go out to eat?Full novel: The Double-faced Specter — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Any restaurant suggestions?

Anybody who wants to leave but is too shy to say it?” She continued rattling off questions, which dazed Sukuna, before he shook his head and focused back again.

“I don’t have any problem, I’m a bit hungry after kicking ass.” He smiled, making Mirio sweatdrop next to him.

“I do have a restaurant suggestion, though.

A ramen place that’s a bit too small for us to sit in, but I promise you guys that the food will be worth it.

We can just eat outside and give the bowls back once we’re finished.” Sukuna finished speaking, looking around.

“You guys got any better ideas?” Most of them shook their heads, before Yuki spoke up.

“Don’t worry, hotshot.

I’ll pay for everyone’s meals.” She nodded firmly, making Sukuna himself sweatdrop.

‘Why do I keep meeting alternate versions of Yorozu?

And why does Yorozu exist in this reality?’ Sighing, Sukuna nodded at her suggestion, knowing how loaded the girl must be.

“Alright, everybody, let’s follow Suku-chan!” Nejire proclaimed, which made Sukuna choke on his spit, alongside his classmates.

Sukuna turned towards Mirio, glaring at him with murder in his eyes.

Mirio quickly spoke up to defend himself.

“Suku-chan…

She must’ve heard us call you that and thought it was okay.

I promise I didn’t tell her on purpose!” He had his hands up in the air, making Sukuna sigh in annoyance yet again.

‘Aizawa-sensei is truly right.

We are all problem children.’ Sukuna thought, walking forward, prompting his classmates to follow him.

Throughout the way, he got teasing looks from Yuyu, or even Tsuki, who mouthed ‘Suku-chan~’ everytime he caught them looking.

Sukuna decided to train his composure right here and now, not wanting to accidentally cut somebody in half.

____________________ After 15 minutes of walking, Sukuna and his classmates finally arrived at what appeared to be a small shop in the middle of 2 buildings.

It had ‘Ichiraku Ramen’ written all over the top, with Sukuna not explaining anything to his classmates, just holding up a palm, before entering himself.

“Don’t worry, you guys.

Sukuna will definitely not order extra spicy ramen to avenge his reputation.” Mirio reassured his classmates, once Sukuna was out of sight.

What he didn’t know, however, was the fact that Sukuna had Cursed Energy reinforcement running through his body at all times, which mean that his sense of hearing was enhanced as well.

Hearing what Mirio said, Sukuna grinned, before shaking his head and deciding to drop it.

He wasn’t THAT petty…

yet.

“Whats up, Teuchi?” Sukuna greeted the old man behind the counter, who had been holding a spoon and using it to stir some broth.

“Nothing much, Sukuna.

Ayame’s sick for the day, so no, you can’t get any discounts thanks to your above average looks.” The old man explained with a fond tone, before turning towards Sukuna and smiling.

“I feel like you’re here for more than ramen, though.

Speak your mind, you know this is a safe place.” Sukuna sighed, shaking his head.

“It’s not really appropriate for me to keep my classmates waiting outside.

I’ll order, eat, and then come back if I feel like it.” He explained, making Teuchi nod in agreement.

“Sure thing, whatever you want.

I know you’re a good kid, so don’t let some idiots words bother you.” Sukuna smiled at the man’s attempt at reassuring him, nodding back at Teuchi.

“Thank you, old man.

Now, I wanna order 40 bowls of ramen, with 20 sets of them being..” Sukuna began to place his order, knowing what his classmates liked, since he had heard their favorite types of noodles back in the entrance of the mall, when he had suggested this very place.

With nothing else to do, Sukuna simply sat down, watching Teuchi begin to patiently cook.

____________________ 4 hours later, Sukuna came out of the shop, carrying 4 bowls instead of 2.

He had decided to test his experiment, creating small, but stable arms made from pure Cursed Energy.

They were wobbly, almost as big as a toddler’s arm, but they were still there.

Not collapsing, nor destabilizing.

Sukuna smiled at his progress, going back inside the shop and coming out with 4 bowls yet again.

Once he was done with giving everybody their ramen bowls, they found a nearby park to sit in and enjoy their meals, with Yuki having gone in and paying Teuchi upfront.

Sukuna thought he heard a loud “WHAT?” in the shop, but that must’ve been Yuki overpaying the poor old man.

Still, it’s what Teuchi deserves for being a good man.

Sukuna, having sat down in the middle of a table, had Nejire to his right, while Mirio and Tamaki were sitting to his left.

Nejire suddenly spoke up after slurping up a hefty amount of ramen.

“Suku-chan, how does your healing work?” She asked, as curious as ever.

The rest of the class also leaned in, subtly showing that they were also interested to learn how he can heal.

“Cursed Energy is my quirk, to begin with.

I assume you guys already explained its applications to class 1-A?” He asked, Nejire nodded, making him continue speaking.

“Cursed Energy is Energy formed from negative emotions.

Anger, pain, hatred.

If you take this negative energy, imagining it like it’s a mathematical number, you can simply multiply it against itself to provide positive energy.

Positive energy is what I like to call Reverse Cursed Energy, since it can provide healing for a sorcerer and allows him to heal others if said sorcerer reaches a certain level of skill.

I, naturally, am the best at this.” He explained it slowly and carefully, making sure that Nejire understood, which she looked like she did, by the way her eyes were shining..

She looked at him excitedly.

“Wow!

Your quirk really is amazing, Suku-chan.

It’s almost like All Might’s quirk, but even better, since you can even heal others!” She said, making everybody blink in surprise.

Everybody besides Sukuna, of course.

Mirio and Tamaki, however, were concerned by the definition of Cursed Energy itself.

‘If what he said about Cursed Energy is true, then…

did Sukuna hurt himself to get this strong?

I can’t imagine the amount of pain he went through, to just get to this point.’ Mirio looked down at his bowl, seeing his reflection in the broth, as he felt more determined than ever to reach his friend.

Tamaki had the same thought going through his mind, clenching his fist, as he vowed to get stronger.

To reach Sukuna, and to have him not suffer that pain alone.

Both boys looked at each other, nodding, as they went back to eating.

Sukuna blinked, noticing their interaction, before he shrugged it off and went back to eating himself.

Nejire was too excited, so she accidentally spilled some broth on her lap while eating, making her yelp in pain.

Sukuna, chuckling at her clumsiness, just healed the 1st degree burns that probably formed on her thighs.

Taking his hand back, Sukuna continued to eat, while Yuyu and Tsuki just blinked in surprise as well.

‘Is this guy an idiot?’ They both thought simultaneously, looking between Sukuna and Nejire.

Nejire, blushing and embarrassed at having broth spilled on her lap, just ate more quietly and patiently this time, while Sukuna continued to look off into the distance, not bothered by the incident.

Yuyu glanced at Tsuki, and the both of them nodded.

They were gonna help Nejire, since she was their sweetest friend.

Don’t worry, action is gonna be back soon!
