Sukuna, who had his ears bleeding by now, forced himself to listen to Present Mic, as the older man explained the rules of this festival.

THE PRELIMINARY ELIMINATION ROUNDS, WHICH IS WHAT OUR LOVELY CLASS 1-B AND THEIR RIVALS, 1-A, WILL BE COMPETING IN!

NOT TO FORGET OUR GENERAL COURSE STUDENTS, SUPPORT COURSE STUDENTS AND OF COURSE BUSINESS COURSE STUDENTS!” A roulette had formed behind Present Mic, as the man used Soundwave to make it spin.

The roulette continued to spin, until finally, when everybody held their breath, it stopped.

“Hm.” Sukuna’s eyes narrowed.

A race, huh?

Well that’s good for him.

He can win this with ease.

“WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT, FOLKS!

THEY GOT THE ADVANCED COUSIN OF THE OBSTACLE RACE!

THIS ONE FEATURES A RACE TRACK THAT SPANS AROUND THE STADIUM PERIMETER!

ONLY THE 42 LUCKY CONTESTANTS WHO PASS GET TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT ROUND!” Present Mic yelled, cheering up the crowd even more.

The event began in earnest, and students already moved to stand infront of the narrow tunnel in which the event began in.

“READYYYYYYYYY!!!” “SET…” “GOOOOOOO!!” Present Mic, who had been hyping up the students as well, shot into the sky with a gun that he had stolen from the gunslinger hero.

Sukuna, who had his eyes focused on the narrow tunnel, jumped over the people’s heads.

‘If everybody’s crowding you from the front, just fly over them.’ He smirked, exploding the air beneath him with Cursed Energy, as Sukuna ignored the struggling of his classmates to get to the other side of the tunnel.

Sukuna was the first one to step out, reinforcing his body with Cursed Energy, as he shot off forward at blistering speeds.

Soon enough, Sukuna saw what the problem was.

Huge robots filled his view, with them not giving Sukuna any trouble whatsoever, as he could just weave around them.

But…

‘That’s how losers think.’ Sukuna grinned, as he held his hand up infront of him.

Pointed at the entire crowd of Zero-Pointers in various colors, as he assumed that they had different sets of abilities than a regular Zero-Pointer.

“Dismantle.” was the word that came out of his mouth, and the crowd cheered in sheer disbelief.

What was the result of that action?

Well, Sukuna sent an omnidirectional slash, sensing the vague footsteps of a Zero-Pointer behind him.

All of them had been cut into bits, to not slow down his classmates..

And to aura farm, of course.

Sukuna chuckled, shaking his head, as he ran by the pieces of the robots that had dropped to the ground.

His speed increased even further, entering the hypersonic range, as he continued accelerate.

“WOAAHHHHH!!

DID YOU SEE THAT, FOLKS?!

OUR RESIDENT HERO, MIDORIYA SUKUNA, MADE IT EASIER FOR HIS CLASSMATES BY TAKING ON THE ROBO-INFERNO ALL BY HIMSELF!

HE’S ABOUT TO ENCOUNTER THE NEXT STAGE OF THIS RACE!” Present Mic’s voice came through, hyped as hell.

His grin was wide, his facial expression matched by everybody on the spectator stands.

Even some pro heroes were shocked at the sheer power that this kid possessed.

“HIS SPEED IS NO JOKE!

AND HE CAN EVEN FLY!

IS THERE TRULY ANYTHING THAT THIS KID CANNOT DO?!” Present Mic yelled into his microphone, hyping up the crowd even further.

It worked.

Sukuna, however, didn’t care about any of that.

His path was suddenly cut off by a vast chasm that ran through the earth, spanned only by tight ropes.

Sukuna, not stopping his accelerating speed one bit, just jumped.

His leap took him into the skies immediately, as he landed on the other side of the chasm with a roll, continuing to blitz forward at blinding speeds.

“I GUESS WHAT WILL TRULY STOP OUR HERO IS THE LAST STAGE IN THIS RACE!!

THE MINEFIELD!” Suddenly, the screen on top of the stage interrupted Present Mic himself.

It showed : 1 – Midoriya Sukuna The result had everybody’s eyes gaping, as they couldn’t even see him in the minefield, let alone winning the entire thing!

The result had another effect, of course, which was hyping up everybody even further.

“WOAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” One man began, clapping loudly, as the entire stadium followed behind his example and began to cheer for the boy below, who had literally blitzed their expectations.

The minefield, however..

Every landmine that was buried inside the earth erupted at once, covering the last part of the obstacle race with a huge, pink cloud.

Sukuna, while looking out for his classmates’ safety, thought that this was going overboard.

So he just activated every landmine, before crossing the finish line.

Sukuna had mostly used the shockwaves generated from his sprinting – which he was sure was the sound barrier telling him to calm the fuck down – and manouvered around the landmine in a way, that, let the shockwaves themselves pass over the landmines.

Which activated them all simultaneously.

Sukuna, now standing on the other side of the obstacle race, simply leaned his back against the wall and relaxed with his arms crossed.

‘They shouldn’t have too many problems.

Specially Mirio, since this race is suited for him the best.

Tamashi and Hiyori could take long to clear the pit, but..’ He smiled a little.

‘They can do it.’ He thought firmly.

Sukuna closed his eyes, relaxing until the next contestant crossed the finish line.

_____________________ Shikibuton Yomo, who had been manipulating wool to serve as his speed enhancer, simply flew over the pit at what appeared to be subsonic speeds.

His control over his quirk has gotten much, much sharper in the past 2 weeks.

He only had one goal in his mind throughout this festival..

‘Defeat Midoriya Sukuna.’ He grit his teeth, knowing that he couldn’t possibly hope to accomplish it, with the apparent gap between their strengths..

And yet..

And yet Yomo wanted to do it regardless.

Yomo liked to fight, specifically when it came to fighting the strong.

He had no malice towards the girl who defeated him, since she used pure firepower to knock him out.

Shaking his head, Yomo – with the knowledge that Sukuna had cleared the minefield of every landmine it possessed – soon crossed the finish line, with the crowd cheering just as loud for him as they did for Sukuna.

Yomo, who was now standing beyond the finish line, looked around..

Until he found who he was looking for.

His eyes locked onto a pair of eyes that were as crimson as blood itself, with him issuing a challenge then and there.

‘I will be the challenger.’ were the words that his eyes spoke of..

Sukuna merely smiled at Yomo, before closing his eyes yet again.

______________________ Tomura Shigaraki, who had been busy playing a couple games, was interrupted by his master today.

All for One gave him a quest to finish, and Tomura was eager to please his master.

The only man that had ever looked at Tomura with something resembling fatherly love.

So he dropped his game, turned on the TV in the bar, turned off the lights, and began to watch the Sports Festival.

His master had told him to look out for one student in particular..

His name was Midoriya Sukuna.

Shigaraki, at the time, didn’t know why his master was so interested in a brat.

But now?

Now he knew why.

“Strength, speed, intelligence all woven so tightly into one package..

He’s like that one Easter egg boss that they add into games.

Except he’s unbeatable in his level.” He scratched his neck, his crimson eyes narrowing.

“Unbeatable, huh?

Well..

I guess we’ll just have to refine the anti-All Might Nomu even further, won’t we, Kurogiri?” “It appears we may have to, Tomura.” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Hamood0831 The Sports Festival has truly begun!

Enjoy!
