3 – Hado Nejire.

4- Togata Mirio.

5- Amajiki Tamaki.

6 – Shizuka Arashi.

7 – Oshare Yuki.

8 – Ao Robai.

9 – Bunka Hocho.

10 – Kusatta Doku.

‘Those two placed higher than I thought.’ Sukuna mused, hand on his chin, as he was deep in thought.

‘Doku’s control over his quirk already had him forming small, compact balls of poisonous water.

He must’ve increased his control, or the amount of water he could manipulate during the past 2 weeks.

Hocho is self explanatory.

He must’ve used multiple knives as a skateboard, flying around with his telekinetic grip over them.’ He smirked, excited to fight them yet again.

His eyes went to the 6th spot.

‘Looks like Vlad King took my suggestions seriously and started training this kid.

Good, I’d love to see more of his Quirk.’ Sukuna smiled.

“WELL, WELL, WELLLLLLLLLLL!!!

I’M SERIOUSLY HYPED UP AFTER SEEING THESE RESULTS!

I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EVENT, SO LET ME SPIN IT FOR YOU GUYS ALREADY!” Present Mic’s voice was somehow louder than usual, causing Sukuna to grimace.

Present Mic walked up to the roulette, spinning it manually this time and not with his quirk, as the roulette eventually slowed down.

“ANY CONTESTANT WHO GOT ELIMINATED HAS NO NEED TO WORRY!

YOU STILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO SHOW OFF YOUR ABILITIES AT THE TRY-OUTS HELD AFTER THE SPORTS FESTIVAL IS FINISHED!” Present Mic explained, waving his arms around wildly.

The crowd took in his words, and all of them cheered, as they got to see more action even after the Sports Festival would conclude.

The roulette interrupted everybody’s excitement, as it fell on one event in particular.

“OH?!

NOW THIS ONE IS INTERESTING, MY DEAR STUDENTS!

CAPTURE THE FLAG IS AN EVENT WE DIDN’T ROLL FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS!” Present Mic’s voice boomed, as he began to explain the rules of the next event.

“IT’S SELF EXPLANATORY!

EVERY STUDENT, FROM 42ND TO 1ST, GETS A FLAG THAT THEY HAVE TO PROTECT FROM OTHER STUDENTS!

THE FLAG THAT YOU GET HAS HIGHER VALUE THE HIGHER YOU PLACED, AND YOU CAN EVEN RESORT TO STEALING OTHER STUDENTS’ FLAGS!

THE 42ND PLACE HAS A FLAG THATS VALUE IS 5 POINTS, WHILE THE 1ST PLACE, MIDORIYA SUKUNA, HAS A FLAG WORTH 100,000 POINTS!!” Present Mic announced, which made the entire field fall silent in an instant.

Sukuna, whose smirk had grown into a full-blown grin, sent shivers down everybody’s spine.

Especially those who had seen his performance in the entrance exam.

‘Yeah, no, we’ll steer clear of that weirdo.’ Everybody thought, their eyes locking on Shikibuton Yomo instead.

Yomo, not even noticing everybody’s attention, just shifted with his eyes closed.

Class 1-A wisely decided to not bother their own classmate – who had become the absolute strongest in their class, not even Doku or Hocho could keep him in check anymore – while Class 1-B, specifically Nejire, had plans form in her head.

The event was about to begin.

Present Mic, who had been carrying flags around him, passed it to each student who had passed the first event.

“ALRIIIIIIIIGHT, EVERYBODY!!

BEFORE THIS EVENT STARTS, CAN I GET A HEY?!” Present Mic yelled at the already hyped up crowd, with the same guy who had cheered on for Sukuna earlier standing up, screaming at the top of his lungs.

“HEYYYYYYYY!!!!” ‘That guy seems like a leader of some sorts.

Maybe he is in a hero team?’ Sukuna thought, looking at his casual clothes, before he narrowed his eyes at the crowd of sidekicks behind the man.

‘Looks interesting, but I’ll pass.’ “AND WITH THAT, CAPTURE THE FLAG, WHICH HASN’T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY SINCE OUR PREVIOUS GENERATION, BEGINS YET AGAIN!” Present Mic announced, with Sukuna disappearing from his spot.

Nejire, Mirio, Tamaki and even Tamashi instantly had a bad premonition.

And they were right in thinking this way..because Sukuna was standing right on top of Yomo’s head, balancing himself on one toe.

He had somehow taken his shoe off too, not wanting to dirty the boys hair.

“Oi.” Sukuna’s calm voice rang out through the dumbfounded crowd of students, who had been rushing to Yomo’s position.

“This guy issued a challenge to me earlier.

I won’t hand him over to any of you before we fight.” He put up one finger.

“And if you disagree..” One contestant, specifically Ao Robai, who had been using his Quirk to cause weak panic amongst his hypnotized “team”, had his flag cut in half.

Robai, who had been planning on not listening to Sukuna from the start, had his eyes widen.

“..

You’ll find that I disagree, too.” Sukuna concluded his explanation, looking bored, as he jumped off of Yomo’s head.

Grabbing his shoe, which he threw mid-air, Sukuna casually put it on before he landed on the ground.

Ao Robai, who had his face pale at this point, turned even paler somehow at the announcement that followed.

“LOOKS LIKE WE GOT OUR FIRST ELIMINATION!

AO ROBAI OF CLASS 1-A IS OFFICIALLY OUT OF THE SPORTS FESTIVALLLLLL!” Present Mic yelled, the crowd cheering and some booing.

“WHAT A GREAT SHOW OF SPORTSMANSHIP FROM OUR HERO, DOESN’T EVERYBODY AGREE WITH ME?!

AN HONORABLE DUEL WILL UNFOLD IN THE THIRD EVENT!

PLACE YOUR BETS ON WHO’S GONNA WIN!” Present Mic hyped up the crowd even further, with everybody cheering loudly for Sukuna’s protection.

‘Asshole.’ was the thought of the future big three, who all had dark expressions on their faces.

Nejire’s plan was totally ruined by Sukuna.

“I guess since we’re all 3rd, 4th and 5th, we should go for Shizuka?” Nejire asked, putting a finger on her lip.

“Yeah, sure thing.

It’ll be easier than Yomo, since my quirk can counter Arashi’s as well.” Mirio nodded, and Tamaki did as well.

They moved forward, since their earlier plan was ruined.

However..

What stood in their way was a raging bull.

Gekido, who had been about to charge in to impale Yomo, glared at Nejire.

“You’re third place, right?” A deep, raspy voice came from his throat, as he readied himself.

Nejire, realizing that she was everybody’s target now, couldn’t help but curse Sukuna in her heart even further.

And with that, the tiring adventure of the future Big Three began.

Gekido immediately rushed in, turning back into his human form, as he kept his legs in a bull-state.

That caught Sukuna’s attention.

‘Looks like even the spoiled rich brat learned a neat trick.

Partial-transformation, huh?

Nejire shouldn’t worry about him, since Mirio can take care of that guy with ease.’ Sukuna, who had been focused on protecting Yomo, naturally analyzed the quirks around him.

This was too good of an opportunity to pass up, obviously.

Mirio, who had rushed in, clashed his fists with Gekido.

Mirio only smirked, letting his fist phase past Gekido instead and sunk down into the earth itself.

The next moment..

Gekido was knocked on his ass yet again, with Mirio jumping out of the earth at supersonic speeds, clocking him in the face when he least expected it.

Grabbing his flag, Mirio threw it to Nejire and then looked up at the scoreboard.

Mirio’s smirk widened, as he saw “Team Hado” on the scoreboard instead of their individual names, with his earlier theory alongside Nejire’s confirmed.

Teaming up was allowed, since Mirio didn’t notice anything in the rules that disqualified one for teaming up, so he suggested it to Tamaki and Nejire.

He wanted to suggest it to Sukuna, too, but he knew his friend worked best alone, so he left him alone.

Mirio’s eyes locked onto their next target, who had come to them by himself.

Lightning swirled around his body, with his golden eyes glowimg even brighter with each second passing.

Shizuka Arashi had arrived, the prince of lightning itself, rushing towards near-certain defeat!

A capture the flag would be more entertaining imo.

Enjoy!
