What the hell was that?

Even Ye Uwon let out a baffled laugh. Honestly, at this point, he couldn’t help but feel curious.

‘Why does he hate me?’

He knew full well that he wasn’t the most perceptive person. But when it came to understanding why Gisekki disliked him, he couldn’t even begin to guess.

‘Was it because I took that PvP too seriously when it was meant to be playful? But then again...’

Wasn’t it Gisekki who initiated the PvP in the first place?

So that would mean he already had some sort of grudge before that. But they’d never even interacted before then.

‘I guess that’s possible.’

Ye Uwon thought about it for a while, then decided not to dig too deep.

Compared to a month ago, they’d gotten relatively closer (?), and he was satisfied knowing their tension wasn’t ruining the guild atmosphere. If anything, it seemed like the guild had become more lively.

‘I accomplished my goal.’

He had just wanted to blend in well with the guild and avoid making other members uncomfortable, even if that meant trying to get along with someone who openly disliked him.

Now that their bickering had become a kind of guild content, part of their daily rhythm, he was fine with that.

(Guild) Jinhee: I’m back~

(Guild) NyamNyami: We got the flower!!

(Guild) QuengKang: Raid cleared~

In the meantime, the raid had ended, and the guild members started popping up in the territory chat one by one.

(Guild) YeUbeomjeol: I’ve returned.

Ye Uwon typed the message as well, but something felt... off.

(Guild) no.10: Everyone, please calm down. Let’s speak one at a time.

(Guild) Dotbal: Calm? Really? Turn my mic back on. Who gave you the right to mute me?

(Guild) ElephantCoffee: Turn my mic on; what the fuck is this?

It was... way too off. Ye Uwon blinked in surprise.

Party: Wilt Rose (5/6)

(Dual Cannon) BaekKimchi: Whoa; what the hell is going on?

The party window for Wilt Rose was still active.

While Gisekki had left immediately after the raid ended, the rest of the group had stayed.

(Assassin) NyamNyami: Huh?? Dotbal and ElephantCoffee?? They haven’t logged in in forever?? I thought they quit??

(Alchemist) QuengKang: Nahhㅇㅇ Those guys only raid with their own friends

(Dual Cannon) BaekKimchi: What’s going on? Looks like a fight;;

Even the people who’d just raided together seemed confused, clearly having no idea what the hell was happening.

Ye Uwon, who was seeing Dotbal and ElephantCoffee for the first time, had nothing to add.

(Assassin) NyamNyami: ??Check the guild voice channel. Pretty much everyone’s in there. Are they fighting in voice? Should we hop in too?

‘Should I... go in too?’

Ye Uwon, caught off guard, clicked into the in-game guild voice channel as NyamNyami suggested.

‘Whoa… there’s a ton of people.’

It looked like nearly every online guild member had joined.

Ye Uwon had entered the guild voice chat before, just to listen without speaking—especially since he played from a PC bang. But this was his first time joining when the room was packed like this.

‘Gisekki-nim’s in here too.’

Among them was Gisekki, apparently dragged in immediately after the raid.

But despite the number of people present, the room was eerily silent. It seemed no.10, the guild leader, had muted everyone—every single mic had been forcibly turned off.

(Guild) Dotbal: I’ve been saying this the whole time ㅋㅋ This is where we stand ㅋㅋ

Then Dotbal suddenly continued in guild chat, clearly furious.

(Guild) Dotbal: Kick Gisekki, ㅋㅋ

Kick Gisekki...?

(Assassin) NyamNyami: What the hell?????

No one understood the situation, and the party chat lit up with confusion.

(Alchemist) QuengKang: ㅇㅁㅇ Kick him??

(Dual Cannon) BaekKimchi: Outta nowhere?? Did they fight with Gise-nim or something?;;

(Mage) Jinhee: Maybe it’s something from a long time ago?

(Assassin) NyamNyami: But why now…??? After being inactive this whole time??

Everyone was clearly rattled, and the chat just kept scrolling nonstop.

(Guild) ElephantCoffee: Guild leader, seriously, why are you going this far to protect Gisekki?

(Guild) ElephantCoffee: He’s been making raids a nightmare for everyone; if he just leaves, we could all raid comfortably again.

(Guild) Dotbal: For real, just boot him already.

With that last message, the pieces finally began to come together.

(Assassin) NyamNyami: Ah... no way...

(Alchemist) QuengKang: Ahahㅇㅅㅇ

(Dual Cannon) BaekKimchi: Ah....;

(Mage) Jinhee: Holy shit... It’s probably because of the blacklist...

After the Spirit Association exposé incident involving the GaeSae guild, all members were blacklisted.

Because of that, it was true that guild members had a hard time joining other parties.

(Guild) MeteorMagic: I seriously don’t get why I have to suffer because of that guyㅋㅋㅋ Can we just kick him already?

(Guild) TangerineFarmer: Even just yesterday, I got rejected from every party just because I’m in GaeSae. I know you two are close, but this isn’t a small guild anymore.

It looked like other guild members were starting to rise up too—it was turning into a full-blown shitstorm.

(Alchemist) QuengKang: But honestly, it’s kinda pissing me off.

(Alchemist) QuengKang: Aren’t those four people the ones who don’t even participate in guild activities?ㅋㅅㅋ

Hearing QuengKang’s comment, Ye Uwon paused and stared quietly at the list of nicknames.

‘Now that I think about it... the names are familiar, but I’ve never actually seen them around. Why is that?’

Over the past month, Ye Uwon hadn’t been logging in short hours.

But even though he’d gotten notifications that those users were online, he’d never gone on a raid with any of them, or even exchanged greetings.

(Dual Cannon) BaekKimchi: They usually raid with their own friends. But all four of them rank top 1–4 in guild siege attendance... They just do a lot behind the scenesㅠ;

(Mage) Jinhee: Yikes, this mood… what do we even do now…;;

—Let’s calm down for now.

(Mage) Jinhee: Oh, Guild Master’s turned on their mic.

Just then, a calm woman’s voice flowed into the voice chat. Looking at the screen, Ye Uwon saw that the Guild Master, no.10, had unmuted their mic and begun speaking.

—It’s true that the Spirit Association incident has caused trouble for everyone. But even so, I can’t kick Gisekki-nim. This guild was created by Gisekki-nim and me. Originally, Gisekki was the Guild Master. So…

(Guild) ElephantCoffee: That’s enough. Guild Master, turn our mics on too.

(Guild) TangerineFarmer: We won’t yell like before, just turn them on; it’s uncomfortable if you’re the only one speaking and we’re stuck typing.

(Guild) Dotbal: Turn it on.

(Guild) MeteorMagic: Same.

In the end, no.10 had no choice but to unmute the mics of ElephantCoffee, TangerineFarmer, Dotbal, and MeteorMagic.

As soon as they were unmuted, Dotbal started speaking.

—It’s not like we’re asking for something crazy, is it? I went through the trouble of talking to the Association through a Spirit Priest friend, and passed on what they said. The Association made it clear—if we kick Gisekki, just that one person, they’ll take us off the blacklist.

Gisekki? Blacklist?

(Mage) Jinhee: Holy crap, the Association really said they’d lift the blacklist if we kick Gisekki?

ElephantCoffee backed him up.

—What’s so hard about kicking just one guy? This isn’t some tiny guild. We’re ranked #2, aren’t we? Do you know how hard we worked to climb to that spot? And now we’re suffering like this because of the blacklist?

—But like I’ve said many times…

—Why the fuck should I be the one to leave.

Suddenly, TangerineFarmer exploded with a curse.

—Do you know how much I’ve contributed? And now you’re telling us to leave instead? I didn’t take you for this kind of person, Guild Master. But this is bullshit—are you protecting him just because he’s your boyfriend or something?
