Erik

It is rumored that the future Alpha of my pack met tragedy along with the former Alpha and Luna almost 18 years ago. While everyone else may feel this way, I believe that my Alpha still lives. I don’t know how or why I have these feelings, but if he is alive, I make it my solemn vow to find him so that he may take his rightful place as the true heir. I feel it in my gut and now I must find him.

Perhaps my Alpha is in this human town that I have moved myself and my daughter Kamari to. We have been moving from town to town since I lost my mate three years earlier. I search every town praying that I will find my Alpha to restore peace to our broken lands. That is the prophecy, so how could I believe that my Alpha is dead when this prophecy has yet to come to pass.

Rogues have taken over what used to be our lands and laid waste to them since that tragic night almost 18 years ago. I pray that this human town will lead me to the heir of our lands for all of our sakes in both the human and supernatural worlds.

Unknown

I must watch this Erik carefully. He seems to know more than he is letting on to everyone else. I should have dealt with him almost 18 years ago, but I couldn’t deal with him without casting suspicion on myself and the others. Yes, I know who Erik truly is even though he pretends to be human and lives among the humans moving from town to town. It seems as though he is searching for something or someone. I sure hope for his sake that he is not meddling with that troublesome prophecy mess. I was assured that messy prophecy would never come to pass, but Erik is starting to make me second guess my sources. I will keep watching and waiting because Erik is the key to whatever is going on.

Lamar

I arrived home to my mother cooking dinner for “us.” Baked yams smothered in brown sugar buttery sauce, fresh greens, and roasted chicken in a zesty marinade. I ask her what is the special occasion and she smiles at me. Apparently we are having guests over for dinner, so I guess I better shower and change. I marvel at the delicious smelling spread and try to speculate on who our guests could be.

I text Tony and he text me back that his Mother is working the night shift again. I ask him what his plans are for the evening. He says he will look for leftovers in his fridge and call it a night. I could not see my best friend spending the evening alone so I ask my Mother if there is room for Tony at our table. She tells me he is like family and that he can join us. I text Tony back to join us for dinner. My mother informs me that the guests will be at our house within the hour. I wonder who it could be.
