Time rewound to one month ago.
Fu Qinghai was not from Qinghai, but his grandfather had once worked in the countryside there. Perhaps it was the experience as an educated youth that gave him a special feeling for that plateau land, leading him to name his grandson Fu Qinghai.
As an ordinary corporate drone, Fu Qinghai, who spent all his time at work researching how to slack off more efficiently, never imagined that sudden death would happen to him.
But he had transmigrated.
He must have transmigrated. In any case, this boundless space filled with white light was beyond Fu Qinghai's comprehension. He didn't consider possibilities like reality shows or pranks, because when he looked down and realized he couldn't see his feet, or even his body, he was certain he had transmigrated.
Floating in this boundless space filled with soft white light, Fu Qinghai questioned with his thoughts:
"Where am I? Who kidnapped me?"
No one answered.
Suddenly, a piece of Information abruptly appeared in Fu Qinghai's mind.
【Name: Fu Qinghai（True Name）

Fu Qinghai stopped questioning and carefully savored this Information.
Although he didn't understand many of the terms, the familiar style suggested this was an Infinite Flow world?
"Did I transmigrate into an Infinite Flow world?"
【Reincarnation Start!】
The Information in his mind appeared again.
Before Fu Qinghai could figure things out, a pulling force dragged his consciousness into a vortex that appeared out of thin air.
His consciousness was plunged into darkness.
…………
"Clang... clang... clang..."
It was the sound of the tracks outside the window hitting the rails that woke Fu Qinghai from his stupor.
"Ugh..." Fu Qinghai rubbed his head, frowning as he sat up on the bed. He saw a light rail train passing outside the window, then took in the furnishings of the room.
A small, shabby, and messy hotel room, perhaps.
On the nightstand lay an old newspaper, a few cigarette butts, and an empty liquor bottle.
And a social security ID card.
Fu Qinghai picked up the blue and white patterned social security ID card, which read:
Albert Fu, 078-XX-XXXX.
So my name is "Albert Fu," an American of Chinese descent. This string of numbers must be the social security number, similar to an ID number, Fu Qinghai thought to himself.
【Welcome to the Reincarnation Main World, Marvel Movies Universe（Earth-199999 Universe）-SSS Rank】
That familiar Information appeared again out of nowhere in his mind.
【You have obtained a new identity, automatically loaded skill: English Mastery】
【Before starting your Reincarnation World adventure, you have received the exclusive gift package for Reincarnation Novices—one chance to freely choose your main plotline Faction】
【Please choose】
【A. Avengers Faction Plotline, B. Loki Faction Plotline, C. Dark Elf Faction Plotline, D. Do not choose】
From this prompt and the date on the nightstand newspaper, he could roughly deduce that it was the latter half of 2013 in the MCU, the Timeline of the movie 《Thor 2: The Dark World》.
Fu Qinghai sat on the edge of the bed, stroking his chin in thought. He had read many Infinite Flow novels while slacking off at work in his previous life. Although he hadn't figured out which specific version this was, it didn't stop him from analyzing his current situation.
The main plot of 《Thor 2: The Dark World》 primarily took place in the mythical world, Asgard, the home of the Norse gods, with secondary plots occurring in England. New York was not the setting for the main events.
And Fu Qinghai was currently in New York.
As a Reincarnator, should he get involved in the main plotline? Fu Qinghai wondered.
But the more pressing issue facing Fu Qinghai wasn't how to get involved in the main plot of Thor 2, but—
How could he, an ordinary Human from Earth, possibly interfere in the mythical alien war between Thor and the Dark Elves?
On the other hand, forget being an astronomer; Fu Qinghai wasn't even an astronomy enthusiast.
He couldn't even get close to Thor's girlfriend Jane Foster's small circle.
If he got involved, he would probably just be an extra Cannon Fodder.
"Even if I got involved... I'd still be an outsider," Fu Qinghai sighed.
【Please choose quickly】 the voice in his mind prompted again.
"I choose A. Avengers Faction Plotline."
Without a doubt, having confirmed that he was just an ordinary Earth Human incapable of rewriting the plot, Fu Qinghai naturally chose the side that won in the original story.
Maybe he could achieve an Easy Win, right?
Choose Loki? Would Loki even want him? Moreover, Lord Loki in the MCU was often in a state where he couldn't even protect himself.
Choose the Dark Elves? Why would a pure-blooded Human like him become a Dark Elf sympathizer? The Dark Elves openly practiced racial discrimination.
As for the last option: D. Do not choose, that probably wouldn't be a good option either.
【Faction choice confirmed. You will receive Assimilation Points after the Reincarnator takes action that successfully promotes the desired outcome for their Faction】
Understood. So I just need to work hard to help the good guys defeat the villains! Fu Qinghai instantly grasped it.
But this brought him back to the initial question—how could such a weak Fu Qinghai participate in the battles of the Superheroes?
By working hard and actively paying taxes to the state and federal governments in a roundabout way to defeat the villains?
That's way too roundabout.
【Begin your Reincarnation Adventure】
One step at a time. I'll find a place to get online first. Fu Qinghai got up, packed his meager luggage, paper money, and credit cards, and left the room.
…………
In a dim internet cafe in Queens, New York, the faint Fluorescent glow of the Screen illuminated Fu Qinghai's Face.
A method many transmigrators would think of: causing a stir in the MCU's stock market.
For example, shorting Stark Industries before Tony Stark was kidnapped by the Ten Rings, and then going long on Stark Industries before Tony Stark returned and announced he was Iron Man.
Although the Timeline was already well into 2012 and the Battle of New York was over, he figured there might still be similar opportunities if he thought carefully. The key issue was that the money Fu Qinghai currently possessed wasn't even enough to survive until next month, let alone trade stocks.
Back then, Chen Daozi won from 20 dollars to 37 million. Me, Fu Qinghai... I, Fu Qinghai, can't even afford next month's hamburger money right now.
I should focus on finding a job first. Retail investors can play the US stock market, but the destitute cannot.
Fu Qinghai squinted as he browsed an advertisement he stumbled upon for an internship position in some project team under Stark Industries.
Huh?
This is an opportunity!
As the most popular figure in the MCU （the most popular figure in the Comic Universe is Spider-Man）, Tony Stark's company is naturally the birthplace of countless Marvel Black Technology. If he could sneak into Stark Industries, perhaps he could find some opportunity to get involved in the Iron Man plotline and subsequently seek corresponding Assimilation Points.
Even setting aside the plotline, Stark Industries is an endless treasure trove. What does it contain?
It has the cold fusion Reactor from the first Iron Battle Armor （ARC Reactor, also known as the Arc Reactor）, which is a powerful and clean Energy; it has various advanced and powerful miniature missile technologies; it has small-scale propulsion technology superior to modern Fighter Jet Turbofan Engines and rocket Propellant Engines; and it has the Isotope element of the Cosmic Cube （Space Stone）, which is the energy source for later Iron Battle Armors and is an almost infinite and powerful Energy. Considering all this...
As he thought about it, Fu Qinghai was practically drooling, already fast-forwarding to the scenario of becoming the CEO of Stark Industries and marrying a wealthy socialite from New York.
A towering building starts from the ground up; glory must be earned by oneself. All of this must begin with becoming an intern at Stark Industries!
Decision made! After carefully reviewing the specific requirements in the recruitment advertisement, Fu Qinghai typed a familiar URL into the address bar; he needed to download a configurator.
Then he would enter the Deep Web.
First, he would search the Deep Web to find a document forger who could create fake certificates and credentials, and he needed one who accepted offline cash transactions, as he didn't have any electronic currency.
As a newcomer, Fu Qinghai lacked information channels for these gray areas and could only rely on the Deep Web.
This is the Deep Web, still a bit far from the Dark Web; it's not a crime, so he didn't need to worry about "FBI open the door" for now.
The recruitment only required an undergraduate degree from a US News Top Ten university, but Fu Qinghai decided to go for an overwhelming attack—directly obtaining a Ph.D. to increase his chances of success in the application.
Plan successful!
After tinkering for about a month, Fu Qinghai finally obtained what he wanted.
This also used up almost all his savings.
In the taxi, Fu Qinghai once again straightened the collar of his newly tailored suit, thinking that if this attempt failed, he might end up begging on the streets or washing dishes in a Chinese restaurant.
"I won't be the first Reincarnator to starve to death, will I?" With this apprehension, Fu Qinghai got out of the taxi.
