Salt
“Ahhh, you actually have a Spirit Spring Space?! You’re incredibly lucky!!!” The exclamation mark on the other end was filled with envy.
Bai Lou thought to himself, “The lucky one isn’t me, it’s the previous host. But even he wasn’t lucky enough and probably didn’t even leave with a complete corpse.”
Bai Lou roughly understood why friend requests were so popular. The AI customer service had mentioned how rare Spirit Spring Spaces were, and now Bai Lou vaguely understood just how rare they were.
Bai Lou: “I have enough Realm Coins to buy your rock salt now. Do you have tutorials for making shoes, baskets, soap, or anything like that?”
Life Shop: “Yes, what type do you want? Can you tell me about your world, and I’ll recommend some.”
Life Shop: “By the way, a lot of people must have added you as a friend, right? Just a heads-up, level one shops can only add ten friends. Friend transactions can have some shortcuts and discounts, like custom orders or buying items you haven’t unlocked in the shop.”
Life Shop: “You should add shops with abundant resources and useful categories. Just between us, some level two shop owners might even have items only available at level three, so be sure to choose your friends carefully.”
Bai Lou: “Okay, thank you! I’m in the beastman world. I need summer sandals and autumn/winter animal skin boots. For the basket, I need bamboo and rattan, mainly for ease of use.”
Bai Lou: “The cleaning supplies should be as easy to make as possible, and the raw materials should be easy to find.”
Life Shop: “Don’t worry! Give me a day, and I’ll find someone to research how to write the tutorial and record it.”
After agreeing with him, Bai Lou bought sixty catties of rock salt and some ginger, specifically requesting a few pieces that had already sprouted to plant in his space.
In less than half an hour, the items appeared in his space, but by the time he received them, half of them had already been deducted.
Bai Lou clutched his chest, heartbroken! He hadn’t realized how outrageous a 50% handling fee was when he first heard about it.
Bai Lou carefully recorded the accounts in the notebook left by the original owner in his space. The two ginseng plants, because they grew in the spirit field and were watered with spirit spring water, were much plumper than wild ginseng, weighing a total of 50 grams. At the mall price of 10 world coins per gram, they sold for 500 world coins.
Two He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum) weighing 3 catties, at 120 world coins per catty, sold for 360 world coins.
Two Ganoderma lucidum mushrooms, weighing five jin (approximately 2.5 kg), sold for 3000 Realm Coins at 600 Realm Coins per jin.
The price of the Ganoderma lucidum mushrooms was the least expected by Bai Lou as he had always thought ginseng would be more expensive. Of course, ginseng was indeed the most expensive, but it was simply too small.
Bai Lou planned to clear out the He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum) in his field when he had time. It took up space and wasn’t worth much so he’d rather grow some vegetables to sell.
He checked the prices of some vegetables containing spiritual energy and they were quite good. Most importantly, they were easy to grow. They would mature in four or five days, at most less than a month, in his space.
Bai Lou calculated that he had earned 3860 Realm Coins today. Half was deducted, leaving him with 1930 Realm Coins. He spent 300 on rock salt and 100 on ginger, leaving him with 1530 Realm Coins. Tomorrow, three skill books would cost at least 150 each.
Money earned quickly, but spent quickly too.
After planting the ginger, Bai Lou had been in the space for almost two hours. He figured it was time to go out and prepare dinner.
When he went out, Lang Zhan was sitting in the shade against the stone wall, looking relaxed and lazy, while the white wolf cub were energetically splashing around in the sunlight.
