Outside the clinic, a crowd had gathered to watch the commotion.

By the time Shen Wan arrived, the clinic had been almost completely trashed tables overturned, pulse pillows, ink, paper, and brushes scattered across the floor.

“Everyone come take a look! The Shen Clinic sells fake medicine! This place isn’t nearly as miraculous as the rumors claimed! The prescription they gave me I’ve been taking it for days with no effect! Isn’t this a scam?!”Full novel: The lady was extremely difficult to please. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Hearing the commotion, Shen Mingyuan came out from the back room, his face full of apologies. “Sir, please calm down. Let’s talk this through. Our clinic will make sure to handle this properly.”

The burly man’s eyes flashed as he slammed the prescription to the ground. “I’m nearly dying from my illness! Shen Wan herself diagnosed me with a spinal problem and gave me this pile of medicine.

I’ve been taking it for so long and it’s done nothing! I work in the fields every day and I’m healthy where the hell did this rich man’s spinal disease come from?!”

“I believed the rumors that Shen Wan’s medical skills were top-notch! Damn my luck! If you’re too young to practice medicine properly, don’t pretend to be a miracle doctor!”

Shen Mingyuan saw Shen Wan standing among the crowd and waved her over. “Wanwan! Come here, apologize to him.”

Out of the corner of her eye, Shen Wan spotted Shen Miao hiding in the back room, watching in secret.

She said nothing, stepped forward, and picked up the prescription from the floor.

Above the clinic’s entrance cabinet hung a plaque inscribed with the words “Healing the World with Dedication.”

This was the reputation she had painstakingly built over three years without a single mistake.

Yet Shen Mingyuan didn’t ask anything he immediately assumed it was her fault.

Shen Wan glanced at the prescription and realized instantly, “This isn’t my prescription. When did you even come to our clinic? Are you sure I gave it to you?”

“It says Shen Wan, but it doesn’t look like you it’s that one in the house.”

The burly man’s eyes fell on Shen Miao, and he stepped into the room. “It’s you! Come with me to the police station! Fraud!”

Shen Wan raised an eyebrow, frowning slightly. “Uncle, someone is using my name to give prescriptions in the clinic. Tell me what should we do about this?”

Inside the room, who else could possibly look like Shen Wan besides Shen Miao?

Shen Mingyuan’s expression shifted repeatedly.

By asking this, Shen Wan was subtly bringing up Shen Miao stealing her gold ingot yesterday.

No matter how much Shen Mingyuan favored his daughter, what could he do? At this point, he would have to bow and apologize properly to the other party.

Shen Mingyuan stepped forward to intervene. “The young lady isn’t skilled in medicine yet, please don’t hold it against her…”

Straightening his expression, he called into the clinic at Shen Miao, “You come here and apologize! Thankfully no one was harmed from your wrongly written prescription!”

Shen Miao froze at the door, afraid to step out. “Father, it’s Shen Wan! She told me the person had a spinal problem! She made me write the prescription like this!”

Shen Miao couldn’t diagnose anyone properly.

If someone had actually died, Shen Mingyuan really wouldn’t have wanted this daughter anymore.

Shen Miao’s forehead was bandaged; the bump from last night had been treated, and in fear, she was dumping all the blame on Shen Wan.

It’s just medicine, after all. You just need hands!

Shen Miao thought she could treat patients and prove to Father she was better than Shen Wan she just didn’t understand why the prescription had no effect.

“Sister, you better listen carefully. The man just said that you wrote the prescription, and the handwriting isn’t mine. Since you claim I told you to do it, then explain why the medicine had no effect!”

“How should I know! Oh! It was you who told me to say it was a spinal problem! None of this is my responsibility! Big brother, if you have a problem, go to her! If you die, let her take responsibility!”

Shen Wan waved her hand. “I didn’t write the prescription. Whoever did should be responsible for it.”

She turned to leave, and Shen Mingyuan instantly panicked.

He couldn’t practice medicine he only ran the clinic because the late patriarch’s reputation brought in patients and money.

Shen Miao couldn’t practice either.

If Shen Wan left, they would have absolutely no clue what to do! After this incident, who would still come to their clinic for treatment?
