Seo-ah.

“Ah …

my sister!” exclaimed Seo-jun.Full novel: The Last Camellia — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In fact, he had forgotten all about her in the meantime, in the course of this dramatic episode.

Slipping on the floor, he frantically rummaged through the folds of the silk sofa, trying to find his coat.

Finally, having pulled it out, he pulled the phone from the pocket and stared at the screen.

His heart sank to his knees at the numbers that flashed there in the glowing backlight of the damaged screen.

52 unanswered calls 41 unread messages > Sender: My Seo-ah “Oh, shit…

oh, shit, I am so dead,” muttered Seo-jun, furiously pressing the return button.

It didn’t even ring twice before she answered.

“OPPA?!” shouted Seo-ah.

Her voice was so trembling that Seo-jun almost fell to his knees.

I miss you so much, oppa!

Where the hell are you?!

Are you alive?

Why didn’t you answer your phone?

Do you know how scared I was?!

Seo-ah sobbed so loudly that Seo-jun’s anger was instantly dispelled.

In its place, tenderness and a warm, fuzzy feeling appeared, along with a long-awaited smile on his lips.

That smile had not been there for twenty-four long hours.

“Seo-ah …” began Seo-jun in a gently soothing voice that sounded too good to be true.

“Calm down, my dear.

I’m right here.

Don’t worry.

Oppa is fine.

Seo-jun’s voice trembled with sincere remorse.

I’m just not myself lately, you know.

“Have you been feeling unwell lately?

You disappeared somewhere overnight, then Ji-ho told me you looked sick yesterday!

I thought you were kidnapped!” Seo-ah cried, her tears flowing down her cheeks faster.

“What happened to you, oppa?

Are you hurt?

Tell me!” “I was just caught up in an incredibly busy work situation …”Nobody kidnapped me, I promise,” lied Seo-jun, gently patting her back.

“I’m leaving right now, Seo-ah.

I’m going to come home and tell you everything in detail.

I promise!

Now, stop crying, my little princess.

Oppa will be home in twenty minutes.

“Okay …

hurry up, oppa …” Seo-ah sniffled, hanging up the phone.

Seo-jun, with a wistful smile on his lips, slowly lowered the phone, looking at it for a few seconds.

It was so good to be able to cheer up.

“So …

what?

You actually know how to smile,” said a sarcastic voice from the doorframe.

Seo-jun hastily turned around, blinking in surprise.

Tae-hyuk leaned against the dark wood of the doorway, his muscular shoulder blades digging into the wood.

His long, beautifully shaped fingers curled into fists at his sides.

In his sharply angled face, a black look of jealousy was etched.

From his broad shoulders, an imposing figure radiated, ready to strangle the life out of Seo-jun.

Hidden behind the mask of coldness, the Prince Alpha was burning with a strange mixture of emotions.

Seo-jun looked at Tae-hyuk with eyes full of confusion and a trace of annoyance.

“And this is how you treat your sister,” Tae-hyuk said bitterly, giving Seo-jun another piercing look.

In his mind, hundreds of thoughts were waging war.

He gave her this smile, Tae-hyuk thought furiously, his fist tightening until his knuckles turned white.

He hit me, cursed me, looked at me like dirt on the bottom of his shoe …

but he treats her like glass, precious glass.

I want this, this smile directed at me.

I want him to say these sweet words to me, to look at me the way he looks at his sister.

I will tear down all the high walls that separate us, and I will devour him whole, making him mine.

Only mine.

My Omega, whose skin is fragrant with my scent, belongs to me!

Seo-jun’s expression immediately changed, turning from worry to annoyance.

He looked daggers at Tae-hyuk and gave him a piercing look.

“I’m leaving,” said Seo-jun, slipping the phone into his pocket and standing.

He turned to face Tae-hyuk and narrowed his eyes.

“Listen to me very carefully, Tae-hyuk.

From now on, do not contact me.

Do not come to my house, do not call me, do not text me, do not email me.

If I see your face, anywhere near mine, I’ll kill you.

I swear to God, I’ll tear out your tongue.” “You can’t just leave me like this, Seo-jun!” said Tae-hyuk, stepping right up to him and narrowing his eyes.

“Your whole body is weak!

Your hormones are all over the place, you’re practically in heat, man!

“Let me take care of you!” “My whole body is perfectly healthy, and the only sickness in it is you!” shouted Seo-jun, shoving Tae-hyuk in the chest with both hands.

He looked menacing.

“Get out of my way!” “I’m trying to protect you!” Tae-hyuk yelled, grabbing Seo-jun’s wrists.

“I’m trying to save you from the other Alphas!

Have you ever thought about what they would do to an Omega in heat?” “By kidnapping him in your penthouse?!” Seo-jun shrieked, struggling.

With all his might, he pulled his arms away from Tae-hyuk’s hands so hard that the Prince Alpha had to loosen his grip.

“You didn’t save me, you kidnapped me, you crazy bastard!” “I took a punch to the face for you!” Tae-hyuk shouted.

“I should have punched you in the balls instead!” yelled Seo-jun.

Meanwhile, right outside the heavy double doors that led to the suite where the argument was taking place, two men stood face to face in the long corridor.

The first was Secretary Kim of the Board of Directors, a sharp-nosed man in his late fifties, wearing a business suit.

The second was the Head Bodyguard, a six-foot-four giant named Do-jin, who looked like he could crush anyone in his path.

Both men stared silently at the massive doors as the heated quarrel spilled into the hallway.

“You never fucking listen to me!” shouted Tae-hyuk.

“Because everything you say is pure crap!” shouted Seo-jun in reply.

Do-jin turned to Kim, raising an eyebrow.

“Greetings,” said Kim, taking a long drink from a paper coffee cup in his hand.

He didn’t even turn his head towards the door.

“Do-jin.” “Yes, Mr.

Kim,” replied the bodyguard.

“Tell me, are we here to interfere in this private family matter between the Vice Chairman and his future son-in-law?” Kim asked blandly.

Do-jin narrowed his eyes and looked hard at Kim.

He gave him a strange look, as if he had just seen something amazing.

“I receive a salary for covering bullets for the Vice Chairman’s person.

I do not receive a salary for getting caught in the middle of his domestic squabbles.

If that Omega hits him again, I have the legal right to look at the ceiling.”
