The fragile stillness in which the master suite was held together by did not last.

Underneath it, the synthetic neural stabilizer that had been injected into Seo-jun by Dr.

A disastrous chemical reaction, the synthetic compound was never meant to be exposed to the proximity of an unbonded Prime Alpha.

As Tae-hyuk’s overwhelming pheromones of frost and cedar engulfed him, the catalyst refused to dwindle away from the stimulus, instead erupting into an unstoppable wave of its own.

The sudden spike in temperature in the large room was enough to make one believe that some unseen force had begun to boil the chamber. The soft, subtle scent of the winter camellias that had blossomed beautifully outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room erupted violently into the room.

It was heavy, intoxicating, a wave of sheer undiluted Royal Prime pheromones crashing down over Tae-hyuk’s senses with physical force.

The sheer strength of it all sent his body into a deep biological feedback loop.

Unable to control the sheer force of the instincts surging unbidden through his veins, Tae-hyuk’s heart pounded mercilessly against his ribs, his pulse spiking into fatally high numbers.

His blood roared in his ears as his body physically forced the Alpha Rut that had lain dormant at the base of his spine up and into his forefront.

All twenty-eight years of his existence, Tae-hyuk had held his instincts in a vice of iron determination, locking them away at the core of his being.

Every muscle in his broad shoulders tensed as if in sheer agony as the dark, feral hunger in his chest clawed its way up his throat, desperate to consume the air that was suddenly too thin to breathe.

Seo-jun gasped sharply, his spine arching impossibly off the dark silk sheets of the mattress.

His head tossed backwards as his hands clawed hungrily at the bed linens, his movements slow and feverish.

Heat rolled off his skin in thick, punishing waves as his body burned from the inside out with an unbearable ache that only the man looming over him could sate.

His damp tendrils of hair clung to his sweat-slick collarbones as his legs trembled helplessly against the bed.Tae-hyuk recoiled at the sight, his breath coming in sharp, shallow inhales as he tried to steady himself.

His jaw clenched impossibly tight, his teeth digging into his bottom lip as he fought for control.

Fought for awareness.

fought for humanity.

He is delirious.

He is feverish.

Do not touch him.

Don’t touch him, Tae-hyuk grit his teeth internally as the veins in his neck stood out in sharp relief.

The human parts of his mind screamed in protest at the feral instinct clawing its way up his spine. But the words, the thoughts, the reason behind it all, melted away into the deep, instinctual part of his being as something in his dark eyes flared up dangerously. With a sharp, jarring gasp, Seo-jun’s heavy lidded eyes fluttered open.

Driven by something deep, something primal, he pushed himself up off the bed with a force of sheer willpower, his fingers digging furiously at the dark folds of Tae-hyuk’s shirt.

His hands shot up to grasp at the fabric, fingers curling impossibly tight around the large man’s collar with a supernatural strength, pulling him down without warning. Before Tae-hyuk could react, let alone pull himself away from the sudden movement, Seo-jun yanked him closer and crashed their lips together, attacking hungrily at his mouth.

Seo-jun tasted of sweet rain, of ozone and fire as his mouth greedily opened underneath his, allowing him full access.

He let out a high, keening whimper at the contact before his tongue dueled wantonly at Tae-hyuk’s, his body convulsing on the bed as he writhed desperately against the broad expanse of his chest.

His thighs pushed hungrily at his thick thigh, trying to bridge the gap between them, trying to bring some form of relief to the unbearable ache in his stomach, his hips.

In his delirious state, Seo-jun moaned wantonly into the kiss, his hands sliding down the strong, broad slope of his back as he pulled him even closer if it was possible.

“Tae…..

please…..” Seo-jun moaned into his mouth, his voice rough and ragged as he writhed beneath him.

“It ….hurts…..

God, it hurts so ….much…..” His words, spoken in a broken, fever-drenched whisper, only pushed Tae-hyuk further, the sheer desperation in his voice clawing at the last few frayed strands of restraint left in his being. His rational mind screamed in protest, a furious storm of thoughts waging war inside his skull.

He needs help.

He is delirious.

He does not know what he is saying.

He should not be touching him, touching him like this. But every fiber of his being screamed in violent protest at the idea.

His dark eyes snapped open, locking onto the younger man’s face as he pushed him back slightly, his hands pressing firmly into his broad shoulders, attempting to pry him off.

“Seo-jun, stop – ….” Tae-hyuk growled out, his voice rough, his voice deep and feral as he stared into his eyes.

“Don’t -…

” The words died in his throat as Tae-hyuk’s instincts screamed bloody murder at the sight before him.Seo-jun blinked slowly, sluggishly up at him, tears glistening unnaturally at the corners of his eyes.

His expression was one of utter, desperate longing as his fingers curled impossibly tight into the fabric of his shirt. But the moment his pupils fully dilated in the dim light of the master suite, Tae-hyuk’s breath caught in his throat as a deep, primal possessiveness flared up impossibly inside his chest.Because there, in the dark, liquid void of Seo-jun’s irises, swam two luminous orbs of deep, unearthly sapphire blue.

Two orbs of a color that had not belong to any Omega, Beta, or Alpha that had ever graced the planet.A color that sent his blood boiling through his veins, that made his skin crawl with a deep, feral hunger.

It pulsed impossibly in the dim light, sending twin waves of electricity crackling down his spine, colliding with his own soul.

It was a color that vibrated with an ancient presence, one that sang to the very core of Tae-hyuk’s being, something older than time itself.

As if it had been searching for this exact pair of eyes, this exact soul, that had been buried deep at the core of every Prime Alpha that had ever existed.

The last vestiges of reason, the last remnants of his carefully honed human instincts shattered into dust at the sight before him.The Vice Chairman growled low in his throat, his gold eyes burning furiously as he looked down at the young man beneath him.And just like that, all reasons, all doubts, all hesitations, were vanquished in an instant.

“…..I told you to bring this upon yourself,” Tae-hyuk rumbled out, his voice dark, guttural, as he leaned down and buried his face in the crook of Seo-jun’s neck.

His nose hovered just above the juncture where the sweet scent of camellias bloomed most heavily, the heat from his breath sending shivers of delight down the younger man’s spine.

“I told you to bring this upon yourself.” With a feral growl, Tae-hyuk pinned both of Seo-jun’s wrists above his head into the mattress, his broad hands locking him in place as he bent down and nuzzled his face into the curve of his neck.

The Vice Chairman’s restraints, once iron-clad, were the first to finally break as his body bowed impossibly underneath his.

His legs parted impossibly wide, accepting him as if the sight of those ethereal sapphire eyes had finally pushed his broken body into complete submission.

Seo-jun let out a ragged, keening whimper as his body convulsed impossibly underneath him, his skin burning with unbearable need.

His body begged for release, for salvation from the searing, relentless heat pooling in his core, but all he could do was whimper desperately as his hands curled impossibly tight around the strong slope of Tae-hyuk’s back.

“You brought this upon yourself,” Tae-hyuk growled out once more, his voice low and dark as his lips ghosted over his pulse.

“Such recklessness.

Such disobedience.” The Vice Chairman’s grip on his wrists was unbending, his broad fingers digging bruisingly into his skin as he held him in place.

His scent, his burning, sweet scent, rolled over him in thick waves, drowning him in an intoxicating mix of cedarwood, frost, and the sheer, raw power of a man who had taken everything he had in his being to stop himself from claiming him.

All the restraint he had gathered, all the control of his instincts, finally broke as Tae-hyuk bent down and captured his lips in a bruising, desperate kiss.

His tongue pushed impossibly into his mouth, tasting the salt on his skin, the fire rolling off his sweat-drenched hair, feeling the way his body writhed desperately underneath him.

With slow, deliberate intent, he pushed his knee impossibly between his parted thighs, his hands gripping his broad shoulders as he held him up, his fingers digging into his skin.

He was delirious, feverish, his entire being burning with a deep, unquenchable need.

“Such disobedience,” Tae-hyuk growled against his lips before he plundered his mouth again, his hands sliding down his back, fingers tangling impossibly into his dark hair.

“Do you know what you have done to me, Seo-jun?”
