A few hours later, the guests bid their farewells and returned to their homes.

The Next Day…

“Hello, everyone.” “How have you all been?” “It’s me…

Ankit.” “So, my name has officially become Ankit in this world as well.” “But there’s still something I can’t stop thinking about.

Yesterday, Grandpa, Grandma, and Dad exchanged a few silent glances while talking to each other.

I couldn’t understand what they were discussing, but it felt…

serious.

It was as if they were hiding something important from everyone else.” He let out a quiet sigh.

“Still…” “Yesterday was truly full of miracles.” “The biggest mystery of all was Rina.” “How did she know my name?” “Even if she had guessed, the chances should’ve been impossible.” “From everything I’ve learned so far, names like ‘Ankit’ don’t even exist in this world.” “…Now that I think about it…” “Mom called her Rina, didn’t she?” “Yeah…” “Her name was definitely Rina.” “Strangely enough, her name sounded just like one from my previous world.” Another thought crossed his mind, and his expression brightened.

“Oh, right!” “I’ve also learned something else about this world.” “Apparently, babies aren’t allowed to leave the house until after their naming ceremony.” “And that’s exactly why I’m so excited.” “I still can’t walk on my own…” “But from now on…” “People can finally take me outside.” “And today…” “I’m going to visit my grandfather’s house for the very first time.” Just then, Ankit’s mother walked into the room and gently picked him up.

“Come on, my little Ankiii.” “From now on, I’m going to call you Ankiii.” “I don’t like the name Ankit at all.” “Now then, let’s go visit your Grandpa.” Inside his mind, Ankit was already celebrating.

Yes!

Yes!

Let’s go!

Hurry up!

I finally get to see this world with my own eyes!

Unable to contain his excitement, he began giggling like an ordinary baby.

His mother smiled brightly.

“Oh, look at you!” “My little boy is so happy.” “Alright, let’s go to Grandpa’s house.” “But your father won’t be coming with us today.” As she carried him outside, they passed through the garden.

The moment Ankit looked ahead, his eyes froze.

His father was standing in the middle of the garden, practicing swordsmanship.

His wooden sword moved so fast that it became nothing more than a blur.

Slash!

With a single swing, the wooden sword shattered a massive stone into countless pieces.

Ankit’s eyes widened in disbelief.

What the…?!

A wooden sword…

destroyed a rock?

His mother noticed where he was looking and smiled.

“Are you watching your father, sweetheart?” “That’s right.” “He’s a swordsman.” “And do you know something?” “Right now, he’s the second strongest swordsman in our entire village.” Ankit’s mind instantly filled with questions.

A swordsman…?

What exactly does that mean in this world?

And if Dad is only second…

Then who is the strongest swordsman in the village?

Unfortunately…

He was still just a baby.

No matter how many questions he had, the only thing that came out of his mouth was…

“…Ba…

ba…” And his mother simply smiled, believing he was trying to talk for the first time.

Carrying Ankit gently in her arms, his mother set off toward his grandfather’s house.

The only path there passed straight through the village.

The moment they stepped outside the gates of their home, Ankit’s eyes sparkled with excitement.

This was the first time he had truly seen the world beyond his house.

On both sides of the road stretched endless green fields.

As the gentle breeze swept across them, the crops rippled like waves upon a vast emerald sea.

Several farmers worked peacefully among the fields, watering the crops and tending to them with great care, making the beautiful landscape even more vibrant.

Ankit couldn’t take his eyes off the breathtaking scenery.

So…

this is the world I’ve been reborn into.

It’s…

beautiful.

A little farther ahead, he noticed a group of children laughing and playing together.

Their carefree smiles echoed throughout the village.

Watching them, Ankit instinctively stretched out his tiny hands toward them.

For a brief moment…

He wanted nothing more than to jump down and join them.

But reality quickly caught up with him.

…Right.

I’m still just a baby.

Before long, Ankit and his mother arrived at his grandfather’s house.

The moment Ankit looked up, he was stunned.

Compared to his own home, this place was enormous.

His little head turned from side to side as he tried to take in the size of the mansion.

Whoa…

Our house looked tiny compared to this.

Just then— “MY GRANDSON IS HERE!” A loud, excited voice echoed through the courtyard.

Ankit’s grandfather came running out of the house at full speed with an enormous smile on his face.

“My precious grandson has finally come to visit!” Without waiting another second, he scooped Ankit into his arms.

“Hahaha!” “So, what do you think?” “Do you like Grandpa’s house?” Then, with a proud grin, he added, “You know, your grandpa is the Village Chief.” “And one day…” “Your father will inherit my position and become the next Village Chief.” After showing Ankit around the spacious house, his grandfather smiled mysteriously.

“Come on.” “There’s one more place I want to show you.” Curious, Ankit looked up at him.

His grandfather carried him down a flight of stairs leading into the basement.

The moment they entered…

Ankit’s eyes widened in complete shock.

The underground room was filled with countless swords of every shape and size.

Some were massive greatswords, while others were elegant longswords, curved sabers, and slender rapiers.

Beside them were shelves lined with strange crystals and colorful gemstones that glowed faintly in shades of crimson, sapphire blue, emerald green, golden yellow, and deep violet.

The entire basement shimmered with a mysterious light.

Ankit could only stare in amazement.

What…

is this place…?
