Leaving her home, Mu Yining intended to head straight for the wholesale market. City A’s economy had developed rapidly and its population was dense. Over the years, many people from nearby small towns had moved here just to earn a living, making it packed with people wherever one went.

The wholesale market was huge, with categorized signs pointing to different sections. Following the pointers, Mu Yining went to the vegetable seed wholesale division first. She picked a shop that looked relatively large and walked inside to make her purchases.

“Young lady, what are you looking for?” The owner was a middle-aged man. Seeing Mu Yining so young, dressed elegantly while visiting a vegetable market, and bringing a dog along, he couldn’t help but feel curious.Full novel: The Max-Level Expert Overthrew the Apocalypse — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“I wonder what kind of seeds you have here, Boss?”

“My shop here is the largest wholesaler in the market, with the richest variety. As long as you can think of it, I have it. What kind of seeds do you need, young lady?”

“Then that makes things much simpler. I want half of all the seeds in your store. Name your price, and money won’t be an issue.” Mu Yining didn’t know how much she would actually need. Although conditions in the apocalypse were dire, some bases did manage to grow vegetables and grain, albeit with poor results. After the outbreak of the apocalypse, the virus spread rapidly, mutating the soil and plant life, making cultivation extremely difficult. However, seeing how soft the soil was and how fresh the air was inside her space, Mu Yining figured there wouldn’t be much of a problem.

“Young lady, what are you planning to do with all this?”

Mu Yining didn’t say much and directly handed the owner a check for two million. “This is the money for buying the seeds. Please help me procure some rice, wheat, and corn as well. I’ll also need some seeds for other coarse grains and legumes. If it’s not enough, I will transfer more to you. Whatever is left over, you can keep as a bonus.”

“Ah! Yes! Right away! Don’t worry, I’ll hire people to get this done today. Please leave an address, young lady, and I’ll arrange for people to deliver everything there.” Looking at the check, the owner didn’t care about anything else anymore. He didn’t understand the world of the rich—making money was all that mattered.

Afterward, Mu Yining bought various farm tools, along with several hundred wooden buckets of different sizes, which would be used to store grain in the future.

After looking around a bit more, she collected some fruit seeds as well. Once she finished purchasing all these, Mu Yining went to rent a warehouse and sent the address to each of the responsible vendors.

By this time, night had fallen. Alan was getting a bit sluggish following Mu Yining around, and neither the person nor the dog knew where to go.

Mu Yining felt that carrying Alan around like this wasn’t a long-term solution. She attempted to bring Alan into her space, and to her surprise, it actually succeeded. This meant that she wasn’t the only one who could enter the space; as long as she willed it, any living creature could.

Mu Yining closed her eyes and focused her mind. Seeing the silhouette of Alan frolicking inside the space, she secretly felt fortunate once again.

Furthermore, the breakfast she had put in this morning didn’t seem to have changed at all. The porridge was still giving off waves of aroma, and the steamed buns were still steaming hot, just like they were freshly baked out of the oven.

Now, Mu Yining was truly overjoyed!

“My ancestors have treated me well! Heaven has opened its eyes—I don’t have to go hungry, and I don’t have to live in fear anymore.”

Having gotten a definitive answer, Mu Yining hesitated no longer. Since she possessed such a cheat-like tool, she naturally had to maximize its usefulness. No sooner said than done, Mu Yining drove alone to a breeding farm, ordering pairs of pigs, sheep, cattle, chickens, ducks, geese… as well as plenty of seafood. Since putting them in her space meant they could breed, there was no need to buy too many.

After a full day of spending, she had only bought food items, and many other things still needed to be planned out gradually.

“Let’s call it a day here; there is still time.” After giving it some thought, Mu Yining found a nearby hotel to stay in. She went back to her room, took a hot bath, and after making sure there were no hidden cameras in the room, she vanished into her space.
