Third Person POV.
King Aurelius swiftly stepped up to the window framing the side of his castle and his gaze was drawn to the clueless boy walking towards the gates looking as if nothing had just happened in the Hall Of Ascension.
Today had gone much weirder and worse than he expected it to and it had all started with him at that!
It had taken a disruption to get that thought out of that boy’s head and he shook his head at how smart he was.
And the talk of past lives?
What exactly had he meant by that?
He turned to his son and once again trailed his eyes down to his nether regions and a small shudder ran through him.
“You should really go check on yourself.” He simply said and Lysander turned beet red before he nodded, bowed and left the place quickly.
“How did that smartass know that I got scammed?” Trevor wondered out loud as he came to stand beside his brother and the king gave him a funny look.
But just then, something filled their ears once more and each of them turned to Trevor with disgust an disbelief in their eyes.
Trevor doesn’t even know that the pretty fairy lady that scammed him is a pretty fae man!
He’s so hellbent on doing her to unconsciousness but he doesn’t know that the man was a Top of the game type of lover!
“I will kill that kid!” Trevor growled out halfheartedly, horror clear in his eyes and the Eldest Princess chuckled.
“Oh don’t be so quick on him, he sure saved me from that wicked bastard without even knowing that he did.
I’d say we should reward him but the boy is very suspicious by nature from what I’ve seen and he just might know exactly what you need him in court for and why.” She said as they all watched him step up to the guards at the gates and drop two pouches in their hands when he thought no one was looking.
Just then, three ministers including the Duke, the marquess and the other Duke started searching themselves for something and Trevor barked out a laugh as he realized what the boy had done.
“Forget what I said before, I love this boy.” He said with a grin and King Aurelius gave him a funny look before the all turned and began to leave when they saw that distance had taken his thoughts away from them.
“It is baffling what he thinks…and this past life?” The king asked as they walked and they all took on a thoughtful look.
“For him to so clearly resent every one of us to such an extent must mean that his past life had been really bad even though he tried to help us but what I don’t understand is how we would even behead him or why?” The Eldest Princess asked and the King rubbed his temples.
“Well, no need thinking about that right now.
We already have a lot on our plates and best we quickly take care of it before tomorrow.” The king advised and the others nodded.
“Why?” Trevor asked.
“I have a feeling that tomorrow will be worse.”
Meanwhile, Cassian was having the time of his life as he got into his carriage and ordered his footman to take him to the Pet Shop in Marquess Everhart’s street.
The footman asked no questions and quickly turned to carriage towards the road that would lead them there and it didn’t take up to an hour or so for them to get there and soon, they were pulling up in front of the large shop.
Stepping out, he stopped in his tracks at whom was also jumping down from their horse right beside his carriage.
Of course it was this guy.
Crown Prince Lysander walked up to him without hesitation and when he got to his side, he stopped and his gaze travelled downwards and whe he caught sight of something, his ears twitched as he looked back up quickly.
[New Gossip Discovered.]
[Crown Prince Lysander loves staring at your body!]
Huh?
Why would he love staring at my body?
Cassian looked down and found that his buttons were still open but he still didn’t understand what was going on and why the Crown Prince loved staring at his body.
“Crown Prince Lysander,” he performed an over exaggerated bow and the Crown Prince winced.
Well, this is going to take a long while but this boy sure is intriguing.
“Oh welcome, visitors!
Are you here to buy a new pet?” A shrilly voice pulled Cassian up from his bow and he turned to the owner with a wide grin.
“Oh but yes, I did.
Please, show me to your best.” He said as he walked past the Crown Prince and followed the woman into the building and immediately, his senses were all assaulted by the sounds of animals.
Ranging from dogs to cats to squirrels to birds and many others…even snakes too.
Not releasing that one at all.
The woman led him further into the building and just as expected, took him into her office but that Crown Prince followed behind them which would have been a hitch to his plans if he cared about company but he didn’t so…
“Welcome, welcome.
I’ll have you know that we have the best animals anyone could ever wish for.
What exactly did you come here to see?” The woman asked with a perfunctory smile and he returned it.
“Dogs or cats are okay but if you have the occasional white squirrels then I’ll take that one too.” He added and the woman nodded with her smile growing as she led him to a comfortable chair and swiftly pulled out a magazine for him to go through.
“I trust that this is your finest?” He asked and she immediately nodded.
“This one looks good, can I see him?” He asked and the woman nodded once again.
“This way, please.” She pointed toward the other door and Cassian pulled up an annoyed expression.
“You expect the Crown Prince to follow you to get the animals?
Are you that unprofessional?” He asked and the woman’s eyes went wide as she glanced at th two of them before she finally fell to her knees in front of Cassian in fear.
“I’m so sorry.
I had no clue that you were the crown prince.
I’ll get the dog right now.
Please wait for me!!” She quickly rushed out of the room without wasting time and Cassia chuckled before turning his head to the ever staring Prince and raised an eyebrow at him.
What?
A minute later and he was around the table and tapping furiously on th buttons that he knew from his past life that would unlock an entire row of dogs and cats and some others.
When he was done, he heard screams filling the entire building and smirked.
Job done.
