12 – Have a Baby
Staring at the girl above him, Jiang Yihan’s eyes turned crimson as he struggled to rein in the raging beast within.
She had told him not to be fierce.
Not to be fierce.
Not to scare her, not to…
Bai Ruanruan leaned against the man’s shoulder, her soft voice carrying a hint of temptation: “If you promise to let me go out, I’ll give you kisses every day, and I’ll let you hold me, and I’ll even sleep with you.”
Jiang Yihan’s heart raced, and a wild glimmer flickered deep in his dark eyes.
Baby…
She called him baby…
And said she would sleep with him…
There’s nothing a kiss can’t solve. If one kiss isn’t enough, then two. If two aren’t enough, then a night together.
“What do you think?” Bai Ruanruan traced the man’s delicate collarbone, enchanting him like a seductive spirit.
“Buzz—”
It felt as if a string snapped in Jiang Yihan’s mind. Blood rushed to his head, leaving him blank.
Only Bai Ruanruan had the power to send him from hell to heaven in an instant.
Bai Ruanruan nuzzled the man’s cheek with her nose: “Rather than just words, don’t you think actions would be more convincing?”
In the next moment, Jiang Yihan flipped over, pinning the girl beneath him. Gripping her shoulders, his gaze seemed to scorch her like fire: “Bai Ruanruan, do you know what you’re saying?”
“Just to go out, you’d rather…”
“I could even give you a little one.”
A little one…
Jiang Yihan’s breath hitched. A little Ruanruan?
“Bai Ruanruan!!”
Finally, Jiang Yihan could no longer contain the surging tide within him. His kisses fell, soft and relentless.
Even without her heart, he would take her body.
“So… so you agree to let me go out?”
“No…”
“No? Then let me go.” Bai Ruanruan tried to push the man off her.
Jiang Yihan gritted his teeth: “I agree, I agree to it.”
Bai Ruanruan wrapped her arms around the man, her eyes smiling: “You have no self-control at all. You really agreed just like that?”
Jiang Yihan narrowed his eyes dangerously, pinching her chin: “Bai Ruanruan, this is truly the last time I’ll trust you. I’ll give you the freedom to go out, but if you lie to me, if you go to see Mu Xuan…”
He leaned down, his voice sinister as he whispered in her ear: “I’ll break your legs and lock you away in a place where you’ll see no one but me, a place of eternal darkness, for the rest of your life.”
Eek—
Bai Ruanruan shivered involuntarily: “I’ll be good, I promise.”
“Ruanbao, don’t forget what you just said. You promised me a little Ruanruan.” Jiang Yihan propped himself up on his elbows beside her head, gazing at her urgently.
“I…”
Before she could finish, Bai Ruanruan’s words were swallowed.
The temperature in the room rose, the curtains swayed in the breeze like fluttering skirts, dusk quietly descended, and the night grew alluring.
The next day, Bai Ruanruan ached all over and had to be carried downstairs by Jiang Yihan. She felt as if she had nearly given her entire life into his hands.
Jiang Yihan, on the other hand, was radiant, his eyes brimming with tenderness, a dazzling smile on his lips that nearly blinded the servants.
The entire manor had been on edge all day yesterday, waiting for the young master to fall ill again. Who would have thought he would spend the night peacefully?
And judging by their young master’s demeanor, even the illness from a few days ago seemed to have vanished?
And he was carrying the young mistress?
What on earth had happened?
During the meal, Jiang Yihan did not place Bai Ruanruan on a chair but continued to hold her in his arms.
“You’re going out today? Be back before one o’clock in the afternoon,” Jiang Yihan said, staring at the person in his arms.
“One o’clock?”
Bai Ruanruan looked up at the clock. “But it’s almost eleven now.”
Was he serious?
Bai Ruanruan said, “Five o’clock.”
“One o’clock.”
Five o’clock? That meant he would have to go at least five hours without seeing her?
How could that be?
