This cycle repeated a full six times!

Although the girl kept her hat and mask on, Jayden Jacobs instantly recognized her when he overheard his subordinates talking and casually glanced her way.

They were all buzzing about her explosive luck, wondering if she had been touched by Lady Luck.Full novel: The Villainess Refuses the Scripts — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

But Jayden’s only focus was her.

The girl nodded with absolute solemnity.

“Yeah, I’m going to make ten billion!”

He raised a brow, his expression reflecting sheer astonishment.

To Juno, that look meant he thought she was completely out of her mind.

But after staring at him for a moment, Juno’s eyes suddenly lit up.

“Jayden, let’s partner up!”

Jayden’s expression instantly became even more colorful.

He looked as though he was perfectly willing to hear her out.

Juno could tell she had hooked his interest.

She immediately switched into full persuasion mode.

“The Jacobs Group owns an entertainment company, right?

For the past two years, it’s been completely suppressed by Perennial Entertainment.

Whether it’s idols or actors, all your resources and deals keep getting snatched up.

Am I wrong?”

Perennial Entertainment had been single-handedly founded by Stephen Grant.

He had used the company to build his fortune before branching out into other industries.

However, the Jacobs Group primarily focused on real estate.

The entertainment sector meant little to Derek Jacobs, so he had tossed Zenith Entertainment over to Jayden to manage.

The problem was that Jayden was a rather rigid and traditional man.

He utterly despised the messy, chaotic environment of the entertainment industry and had never put any real effort into running Zenith.

As a result, the artists under their banner had scattered.

The top-tier talents had all been poached by rival agencies—chief among them being Perennial Entertainment!

“You want to enter showbiz?” he asked, his brows knitting together as his aloof, handsome features darkened.

Though he didn’t outright say it, Juno easily sensed his displeasure.

It wasn’t the first time she had picked up on this subtle shift while spending time with Jayden.

She always felt an inexplicable familiarity with his every gesture, every frown, and every smile.

Juno shook her head, stating her intentions point-blank.

“No, I want Zenith Entertainment.”

She wasn’t simply saying that because of his reaction; from the very beginning, her ultimate target had been Zenith!

Celebrities did rake in a lot of money, but the agency always took a hefty cut.

Factor in all the miscellaneous expenses, and how much would actually be left in her pocket?

Earning ten billion that way would be a total pipe dream!

But being the big boss was an entirely different story.

She could sit back and reap all the rewards!

“Quite the appetite.” Despite his words, Jayden’s aloof expression softened.

“You mentioned a partnership.

If I give Zenith to you, what do I get out of it?”

“I can make ten billion. The source of this chapter is novelping.com.

Do you believe me?”

The warm lighting cast a soft glow over the young woman’s porcelain face, highlighting the fine peach fuzz on her cheeks.

She looked as exquisite as a porcelain doll.

Her long lashes fluttered above bright, dark eyes that outshone the overhead lights, sparkling as if they held a galaxy of stars.

She was incredibly confident, radiating a bold audacity.

Even while spinning what sounded like a total fantasy, she somehow made it impossible not to believe her.

Indeed, she was the type of person who would undoubtedly accomplish whatever she set her mind to.

A deep smile hid within Jayden’s glass-like eyes as his tone lifted playfully.

“I believe you.

So, do I get half?”

“In your dreams!

That’s outright highway robbery!” Juno blurted out, her almond eyes flying wide open.

But when she realized he wasn’t the least bit annoyed—and was, in fact, curling his lips into a smile as he gazed at her with eyes as deep as the ocean—Juno suddenly felt a flash of embarrassment.

She was the one asking him for a massive favor.

Acting so self-righteous and stingy about it probably wasn’t the best look, right?

Rolling her large, round eyes in thought, she suddenly tilted her head.

“Otherwise, how about you marry me?

That way, neither of us loses out!”
