An hour later, Jing Mocong drove back to his private estate.

The car came to a stop in front of the main villa.

After getting out, Jing Mocong opened the back door and lifted the two little ones out of the car.Full novel: The Wealthiest Tycoon Was Supposedly Childless, Yet I Was Pregnant with His Twins — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Thank you, Daddy.”

“Thank you, Daddy.”

A gentle smile appeared on Jing Mocong’s handsome face.

“You’re welcome. I’m your daddy, so you don’t have to thank me in the future.”

“Taking care of you is simply what a Daddy is supposed to do.”

The twin siblings exchanged a glance before nodding their little heads in unison.

Their adorable reaction melted Jing Mocong’s heart. He bent down and scooped them both into his arms.

Each child rested on one of his arms while curiously looking around at the scenery without blinking.

“Daddy, your house is so big and so beautiful,” Yan Shiyao said.

“Daddy, you even have giant koi fish here,” Yan Shijun added.

“Sir, who are these two children?”

The estate’s butler, Uncle Jiang, was astonished. It had been a long time since he had seen Jing Mocong smiling so happily.

The twins immediately raised their little heads from Jing Mocong’s embrace and greeted him sweetly.

“Hello, Grandpa. I’m Yaoyao.”

“Hello, Grandpa. I’m Junjun.”

Jing Mocong smiled proudly.

Yan Yu had truly done an excellent job raising the children. No one even had to remind them—they instinctively greeted people politely.

“Hello to both of you.”

It was also Uncle Jiang’s first time meeting such warm and friendly children.

More importantly, they were exceptionally beautiful.

Wait…

Uncle Jiang stared at the little boy in Jing Mocong’s arms, completely dumbfounded.

“Sir… why does this little boy look so much like you?”

“Because he’s my son.”

“Of course he looks like me.”

“And this one is my daughter. She resembles her mommy.”

During the short time they had spent together, Jing Mocong had already discovered the secret to getting along with the twins—

He absolutely couldn’t leave either one out.

Otherwise, they would become unhappy.

“What? They’re your children, Sir?”

Uncle Jiang was even more shocked.

His master had always kept women at arm’s length.

Where could children possibly have come from?

Modern technology hadn’t reached the point where men could give birth yet.

“Sir… don’t tell me you went overseas to…”

Uncle Jiang blinked so rapidly it looked as though his eyelashes were about to fall off.

Understanding exactly what he was implying, Jing Mocong twitched the corner of his mouth.

“Five years ago in Shengjing, my woman and I planted these two little lives together. Now they’ve grown up.”

Jing Mocong’s infertility had always been a closely guarded secret.

Aside from his attending physician, no one else knew.

The secret had been kept to avoid unnecessary risks.

Looking back now, it was fortunate that it had remained hidden. Otherwise, no one would ever have believed he had children.

After all, he usually hated women getting close to him.

He had never even dated anyone.

Even his closest friends had once nervously suspected that he liked men.

“So that’s what happened.”

Uncle Jiang was so happy that tears nearly welled up in his eyes.

“Wonderful! Sir, you finally have heirs—and twins, no less. Congratulations!”

Then he smiled warmly at the children.

“Young Miss, Young Master, I’m the butler here. If there’s ever anything you need, just let me know.”

The twins immediately shook their little heads like rattles.

The next second, two tiny hands reached out and grabbed Jing Mocong’s ears.

“Daddy, how can you let Grandpa work for us?” Yan Shiyao said seriously.

“That’s right, Daddy. We can’t make old people work,” Yan Shijun added.

This was the first time in his life anyone had ever tugged on his ears.

Even Old Madam Shi had only ever spanked him.

Jing Mocong was completely stunned.

“Uh… children, let go first.”

“No!”

Yan Shiyao replied righteously. Then she glanced at Uncle Jiang before leaning close to Jing Mocong’s ear and whispering,

“Daddy, Grandpa is old. What if he falls down while working for us? We’d have to pay his medical bills.”

“Oh…”

Jing Mocong finally understood.

“So you’re worried about the medical expenses.”

“It’s alright, Yaoyao and Junjun. Uncle Jiang is the butler here. A butler doesn’t do the heavy work himself. He simply directs the younger, stronger maids to do it. Besides, Father has bought insurance for everyone working here. If they get hurt, they can go to the hospital, see a doctor, and use their medical insurance to pay the bills.”

Patiently, Jing Mocong explained what medical insurance was and how it worked.

After listening to the explanation, the twins finally released his ears.

Instead, they puffed out their little cheeks and gently blew on them.

“Daddy, does it hurt?”

Yan Shiyao looked heartbroken.

“I’ll blow on it to make it better.”

Yan Shijun blew with all his might.

“Phoo… phoo… phoo…”

How could Jing Mocong possibly feel any pain?

His heart was sweeter than if he had eaten an entire bowl of honey.

Standing nearby, Uncle Jiang couldn’t get enough of the scene.

The master’s two children were simply too adorable.

“Come on, let’s go inside.”

“Daddy will have the chef make something delicious for you.”

Jing Mocong carried them into the main villa, set his daughter and son down on the sofa, and summoned the chef.

The chef smiled the moment he saw the two bright-eyed little children.

“Young Miss, Young Master, what would you like to eat?”

“I want a teppanyaki hamburger.”

“I want crispy French fries with sweet-and-sour ketchup.”

“Coming right up.”

Making snacks like these was effortless for the chef.

Before long, steaming hot food was served.

Yaoyao and Junjun sat on the carpet in front of the coffee table, happily eating their meal.

At the same time, both children looked toward Jing Mocong, who sat elegantly on the sofa with one long leg crossed over the other.

“Daddy, come eat.”

“Daddy, come eat.”

Jing Mocong smiled.

“Daddy isn’t hungry. You two eat.”

Even so, the children each picked up a little food and stuffed it into his mouth.

To an adult, snacks like these held almost no appeal.

Jing Mocong especially didn’t care for them.

Nevertheless, he smiled the entire time and happily swallowed every bite.

After they finished eating, Jing Mocong took out his tablet and let them choose some toys.

Within an hour, every toy they had selected had been delivered directly to the estate by the manufacturers.

It was the first time Uncle Jiang had ever seen the estate so lively.

He smiled until his eyes narrowed into slits.

Meanwhile, Yan Yu was meeting with one of her university classmates.

After graduation, the classmate had begun working at the stock exchange, and Yan Yu was asking him about the recent developments within the Yan Group.

She learned that six months earlier, the Yan Group had sold one of its children’s clothing companies to raise capital.

The buyer had managed the business poorly and had put it back on the market just a day ago.

A potential buyer had already shown interest.

Yan Yu immediately became anxious and asked her classmate for help.

She wanted to acquire the children’s clothing company herself.

“Yan, this isn’t a small company. It’ll take at least ten million yuan to buy it. Do you really have that much money?”

“I do. Just help me reserve it. Tomorrow I’ll bring all the paperwork and the money, and we’ll complete the transaction.”

“Alright. I’ll help you.”

Her classmate agreed without hesitation.

Yan Yu sincerely thanked him.

He simply smiled and said they had been classmates, so it was only natural to help.

After saying goodbye, Yan Yu took a taxi back to her neighborhood.

She headed straight to the daycare to pick up the twins.

However, the teacher told her they had never come that day.

Yan Yu’s scalp instantly went numb.

She had needed to go out that day, and the two children had thoughtfully insisted they could walk to daycare by themselves.

So she had merely watched them head toward the daycare before leaving.

An overwhelming wave of panic engulfed her.

Filled with regret, Yan Yu hurried to the neighborhood entrance and questioned the security guard.

“Oh, those two children are yours?”

The guard nodded.

“They left me a message. They said that if you came asking, I should tell you they’d gone to Nini Burger to find their daddy.”

What?

They went to the burger restaurant to find their Daddy?

What was going on?!

Yan Yu’s mind went completely blank.

She immediately hailed another taxi and rushed to Nini Burger.

With red-rimmed eyes, she showed the owner a photo of the children and anxiously asked whether they had been there.

The owner looked at the picture and nodded.

“They were.”

“They talked with your husband here for a while, and then your husband took them away.”

“Huh? My husband?”

Yan Yu was so frantic that her heart nearly stopped.

“Could you please let me see your security footage?”

Those two little troublemakers had actually gone looking for their father themselves.

Did they even know who their father really was?!
