Suddenly being pinned against the wall, Yan Yu felt as if her heart were about to leap out of her chest. Jing Mocong’s aggressively intense gaze left her completely at a loss. Before she could even ask, “What are you trying to do?” the man had already trapped her with one long leg, lifted her chin with one hand, lowered his head, and captured her breath.

“Mmph…”

Completely imprisoned from every direction, Yan Yu could only let out a helpless sound.Full novel: The Wealthiest Tycoon Was Supposedly Childless, Yet I Was Pregnant with His Twins — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The man’s kiss suddenly became even more forceful. Yan Yu pushed against him with both hands, but she could not move him in the slightest. Furious, she clenched her fists and repeatedly pounded against his chest.

Jing Mocong was thick-skinned. Her soft little fists felt no more than a tickle to him. As his lips tasted that same soft sweetness from five years ago, something deep within his memories seemed to unlock. Closing his eyes passionately, he cupped Yan Yu’s face with both hands as the longing he had buried only grew stronger.

Yan Yu became increasingly angry. Seeing that hitting him was useless and that she was almost out of breath, she had no choice but to stop resisting.

She was completely out of options.

She had no idea how much time had passed—perhaps three or four minutes—before Jing Mocong finally pulled away, still unsatisfied.

He had only stopped because even he was beginning to feel lightheaded from the lack of oxygen. Otherwise, he could have continued.

“You’re insane.”

Yan Yu seized the opportunity to shove him away and fled toward the bathroom door, stepping on the white dress shirt that had just been blow-dried without even caring.

Just as she reached the door and grabbed the handle, a large hand pressed firmly against it.

His cold, proud voice sounded low and magnetic.

“I am insane. Otherwise, why would I have dreamed about you every single night for the past five years… doing everything a husband and wife do together in those dreams?”

Yan Yu’s mind went blank with a loud buzz.

She had heard every single word.

He had said…

The woman in his dreams was her?

“What did you say?”

She could not help turning back to ask.

“I said I’ve been dreaming about you all this time. That day, when I asked you about the woman in my dreams…”

“It wasn’t someone else.”

“It was you.”

Taking advantage of Yan Yu’s stunned reaction, Jing Mocong curled his lips into a sly smile.

By the time Yan Yu came back to her senses, she realized he had once again pinned her against the door.

This time, he held her even more tightly than before.

His handsome face drew close, enlarging before her eyes.

His mature masculine scent completely enveloped her.

“I came to the amusement park today because of you.”

As soon as he finished speaking, his Adam’s apple bobbed before he lowered his head again.

Seeing his lips about to approach once more, Yan Yu quickly covered his mouth with her hand.

“Don’t do anything reckless! You have a fiancée. You’re practically a married man. Don’t drag me into this!”

Jing Mocong froze.

He tried to speak but found his mouth covered, so he leaned back slightly before replying helplessly,

“Who told you I have a fiancée? I don’t.”

“You don’t? Your fiancée admitted it to me herself.”

“I really don’t. Tell me her name.”

“I don’t know.”

At the time, she had been caught speaking badly about him and had even been scolded.

How could she possibly have had the chance to ask the woman’s name?

“Little Yu, I swear on my life and my entire fortune that I don’t have a fiancée. If I’m lying, then the moment I walk out of here, I’ll get hit by a car and go bankrupt.”

Yan Yu’s eyes widened.

“You don’t have to curse yourself like that!”

Jing Mocong looked rather pleased with himself.

“That’s because I don’t have a fiancée. None of those curses will ever come true.”

“Did you forget what I told you before?”

“Other than you, I don’t want to touch any other woman.”

He really had said those words.

Yan Yu remembered their entire conversation from that day perfectly.

Back then, she had even been upset because she thought Jing Mocong did not see her as a woman.

Who would have thought…

The woman in his dreams had actually been her all along?

“Now you believe me, don’t you?”

Seeing her lower her eyes in apparent acceptance, a gentle smile spread across Jing Mocong’s handsome face.

He once again cupped her face with both hands before leaning in for another kiss.

This time, Yan Yu reacted quickly.

She turned her head aside, avoiding his lips.

Her cheeks flushed bright red as she glared at him.

“You hooligan! I’m not a hostess. You can’t just kiss me whenever you want!”

Jing Mocong replied matter-of-factly,

“You’ve already given birth to my two children. Why can’t I kiss you?”

“Wh-What did you just say?”

Yan Yu felt as though her brain had exploded for the second time.

Her clear eyes were filled with shock.

Jing Mocong answered honestly,

“That day at Nini Burger Shop, I already acknowledged Yaoyao and Junjun. After learning from you that I was their father, they secretly used your phone to send me a message asking me to meet them.”

Yan Yu had never imagined that two four-year-old little beans could devise such a meticulous plan.

They had completely fooled her.

Those two little troublemakers had really set their own mother up.

So…

They had used her phone to message Jing Mocong.

No wonder she had not seen any suspicious messages afterward.

They must have deleted them after sending them.

Those two little rascals were far too clever.

Yan Yu became so angry that her eyes turned red.

Jing Mocong pulled her gently into his arms and softly stroked her cheek.

“Little Yu, if I had known you were pregnant five years ago, I would definitely have married you.”

“That day at the hospital, I spoke to you so harshly.”

“I’m truly sorry.”

“I was a bastard.”

“I shouldn’t have treated you that way.”

Listening to his apology, Yan Yu was genuinely surprised.

Jing Mocong, who was always domineering and aloof in front of everyone else, was apologizing to her in such a gentle voice.

“Back then, I overheard your phone call. You weren’t even interested in wealthy heiresses, so how could someone like me—an orphan—bring myself to tell you I was pregnant? Besides, you kept insisting that you were infertile. Taking all that into consideration, I chose to ask you for money instead.”

Yan Yu had always been reasonable.

At the time, Jing Mocong had known nothing, and although his attitude had been unpleasant, she understood why.

She had never held that against him.

Jing Mocong smiled warmly.

“Then let’s put everything from the past behind us.”

“Let’s get married.”

“Let’s give Yaoyao and Junjun a complete family.”

And give me a family too.

He silently kept those words to himself.

Yan Yu instantly regained her composure.

She stepped out of his embrace and shook her head.

“My background is unknown. I’m just an ordinary woman.”

“You’re the pride of a wealthy family—the richest man in Shengjing.”

“Our families are worlds apart.”

“How could we possibly get married?”

“What if I’m an orphan too?”

“Wouldn’t that make us a perfect match?”

Jing Mocong looked at her with dissatisfaction before wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her back into his embrace.

“Stop joking.”

“How could you possibly be an orphan?”

Ever since meeting him again, Yan Yu had quietly looked into his background.

According to everything she had found, he was the second young master of the prestigious Jing Family.

“I really am an orphan.”

Jing Mocong’s voice became gentle.

“On the surface, I’m the Jing Family’s Second Young Master.”

“But in reality…”

“I’m only their adopted son.”

“When I was sixteen, my adoptive parents discovered that their child had been switched at birth.”

“They brought their biological son back to the Jing Family.”

“Little Yu…”

“I’m just like you.”

“I don’t know who my biological parents are either.”

“You’re joking… aren’t you?”

Yan Yu had never expected to hear such a secret.

Nothing she had found online mentioned any of this.

“It’s true.”

“I have no reason to joke about something like this.”

His expression was completely serious.

“We both know what it feels like to grow up without our parents by our side.”

“So…”

“Let’s not make Yaoyao and Junjun experience the same thing.”

“Okay?”

Looking into the sincerity in his eyes, Yan Yu grew even more nervous.

“Y-You’ve already acknowledged them, so… that’s fine.”

“But as for us getting married…”

“Let’s forget about it.”

“Why?”

“Do you love me?”

Yan Yu pressed her lips together before asking the question.

Jing Mocong froze.

“I’ve never been in love before.”

“I don’t know whether this counts as love.”

Yan Yu smiled faintly.

“Then I suppose it doesn’t.”

“But marriage should be built on love.”

“People can still get married without feelings…”

“But life after marriage probably won’t be a happy one.”

She was rather traditional.

Without love, she saw no reason to get married.

Besides, she had never been particularly interested in romance.

She only wanted to focus on building her career, raising her two little mythical beasts into responsible adults, and then retiring to travel the world.
