After two hours of tossing and turning, Quan Yuchen’s temperature finally dropped. Nan Wanwan let out a sigh of relief, helped him tuck the blanket properly, then picked up the room card from the bedside and walked out.
She went to the suite next door. The two little ones were curled up on the sofa watching TV. The moment they saw Nan Wanwan, they jumped up excitedly.
“Mommy’s back!”
Qiqi ran straight toward her. Nan Wanwan crouched down and hugged her, smiling affectionately.
“Mm, baby, it’s getting late. Hurry and go to sleep.”
“I’m not sleepy, not sleepy! Mommy, are you really together with the handsome uncle? Did you two kiss?”
Qiqi’s grape-like eyes sparkled with excitement. Her lively expression carried an unmistakable curiosity that hit right at the heart of gossip.

The man stood up. His clearly defined hand grabbed the blanket and draped it over her shoulders. His gaze darkened as he looked at her face.
“Go lie on the sofa for a while.”
Nan Wanwan quickly pulled the blanket off. She thought to herself that no matter how unprincipled she was, she couldn’t steal a patient’s blanket.
