“With so many keys, it must be a hassle to find the right one, right?”

Even with labels on every cabinet, finding the key to a specific place would still be troublesome.

Wen Yu understood her concern. He walked to the center of the room, where an enormous display screen stood, and beckoned to her. “Mom, come here for a moment.”

“What is it?”

“You’ll see when you come.”

Xia Zhi walked over.

The screen displayed countries and cities where the properties were located. By selecting any city, it would show the area and exact location of each building.

Wen Yu’s fingers moved swiftly across the screen as he said, “If you want to find the key to Building 6 in Lehe Residence in S City, just pull up its exact location here, and a ‘Confirm’ option will appear. You just need to tap ‘Confirm.’”

“Just tap ‘Confirm’ and it finds the key?”

“Yep.”

Half believing, Xia Zhi reached out and tapped “Confirm” on the screen. Suddenly, a glass cabinet on the right lit up. Its door began to rotate and rearrange like a conveyor system, bringing the glowing cabinet down to the lowest position. With a click, it opened, and a cute extendable chubby mechanical hand quickly presented the key to her.

Wen Yu took the key from the little mechanical hand and waved it in front of Xia Zhi with a smile. “Mom, convenient, right?”

Convenient, very convenient.

As expected, with money, there is almost nothing that cannot be done.

“Mom, Mom, where are you?” Wen Yi’s voice called out from inside the villa.

“I’m here,” Xia Zhi replied loudly.

Following the sound, Wen Yi came running over, pulling Wen Shihan along, with Wen Le and Wen Lun close behind.

Xia Zhi noticed Wen Shihan’s gaze sweep across the entire room. He paused for a moment, yet his face showed none of the shock she felt.

As expected of a big boss who managed tens of thousands of people, his composure far surpassed that of ordinary people.

Wen Shihan lowered his eyes and asked the slightly shorter Xia Zhi, “Your handiwork?”

Xia Zhi, “…”

It could be said that way, but also not quite. It was her handiwork, yet not hers, it belonged to her twenty years later, not to her from twenty years ago.

Xia Zhi moved her lips, about to speak, when Wen Lun cut in, “Dad, Mom did all of this. She said she wanted a huge room to display her precious keys. Every time she looks at them, it motivates her to buy more properties and become an even bigger landlady.”

Xia Zhi, “…”

Wen Shihan stood with his hands behind his back, carrying himself like a leader inspecting the site. For a brief moment, Xia Zhi felt as if she had reverted to being an employee again, undergoing a strict evaluation from her boss.

Wen Shihan’s dark eyes examined the key filled room, and he commented, “Not bad.”

In the workplace, when a leader says “not bad,” it means they approve of your work in that area, it has already reached an excellent standard. For anything not up to par, they would simply send it back for repeated revisions.

“Dad, Mom, stop looking at this, come play with me,” Wen Yi urged. She had not come to find Xia Zhi just to look at this boring thing, she wanted them to play with her.

“What do you want to play?” Xia Zhi asked curiously.

“Hide and seek!” Wen Yi cheered happily.

The doctor had said that if they wanted Mom and Dad’s memories to recover, they should bring them to do things they used to do often. Their family used to love playing hide and seek, so Wen Yi eagerly brought Xia Zhi and Wen Shihan together, hoping they would play with her.

Xia Zhi slowly shifted her gaze toward Wen Shihan. Someone as cold and serious as him would actually play hide and seek with children?

As if understanding Xia Zhi’s thoughts, Wen Yi excitedly announced, “Dad already agreed.”

Xia Zhi was startled. She had not expected Wen Shihan to agree.

“Mom, let’s hurry and play hide and seek.”

And so, Xia Zhi experienced the most awkward game of hide and seek in her life, playing together with the boss she feared and a group of unfamiliar children.

Because she was not familiar with the layout of the villa, she was quickly found every time. Meanwhile, the boss, who had also just arrived, was much harder to find, almost lasting until the end of every round.

As expected, there was a reason a boss could be a boss, even when it came to playing games.

After the game, the energetic Wen Yi and Wen Le completely ran out of energy and collapsed onto the beige sofa in the villa, falling fast asleep.

Xia Zhi and Wen Shihan had just been in a car accident and still had some minor injuries, so the task of carrying the exhausted children upstairs fell to Wen Yu and Wen Lun.

Watching Wen Yu and Wen Lun skillfully pick up the two children, Xia Zhi figured they must have done this often before. She could not help wondering if her future self had somehow saved the universe to have given birth to such handsome and reliable sons.

Nestled in Wen Yu’s arms, Wen Yi suddenly murmured in her sleep, “Dad, Mom, don’t leave me.”

The car accident and memory loss must have deeply shaken her fragile heart, intensifying her sense of insecurity. That was why, on the very first day Xia Zhi and Wen Shihan returned home, she had eagerly pulled them to play hide and seek, wanting to strengthen her bond with them.

A sense of guilt suddenly rose in Xia Zhi’s heart.

Wen Yi and Wen Le’s bedrooms were on the third floor, Wen Yi’s room on the right, Wen Le’s on the left. When the doors were opened, Xia Zhi was once again stunned by the luxurious lifestyle of the wealthy.

Both rooms were extremely spacious. Wen Le’s room was decorated in light blue tones, filled with all kinds of toys, even a small slide. One wall had a climbing setup, with a large cushioned mat placed below to prevent injuries from falls. Most astonishing was the large section dedicated to a miniature train track, where a little train was diligently circling nonstop.

Wen Yi’s room featured soft pink and orange tones, filled with plush dolls. At the head of the bed sat a two meter tall cream colored teddy bear, leaning against the bed as if quietly waiting for its owner. Compared to Wen Le’s room, Wen Yi’s room had a more artistic feel. There was also a large piano inside, and from the material alone, it was clearly very expensive. Later, Xia Zhi learned from Wen Lun that the piano cost three million.

Being a rich child was truly blissful.

After settling Wen Yi and Wen Le, Xia Zhi stepped out of Wen Le’s room.

She suddenly thought of a serious problem.

If she was now married to her boss, would the two of them possibly, maybe, perhaps be living in the same room?

Xia Zhi glanced around the villa. It was so large, surely there would be at least one extra room?
