The Nyechistyy’s mind spun a mile a minute as he took cover from fire.

Everything he’d known about this place through the whispers of the guards.

Through the people who were captured outside because they were useful for creating new humans for the demons to feast upon.Full novel: Transmigrated As A Half-Demon, I Have A Glitchy Gamer System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Everything over his seventeen years imprisoned, the ten with his mom and the seven without.

All of it spun through his mind like a typhoon as his mind calculated the best possible way to escape his current predicament.

Yet, on another note, his system stumped him.

’What does ’Recognise Mana.’ mean?’

’Will my system activate if I do that?’

’But no one can use magic or mana inside the confines of the city!’

’I’m currently in the South, the Demon of Sin’s territory.’

’The entrance of the city is in the North.’

’I can’t even walk through it to exit since it’s bound to be the center of all the chaos right now, filled with humans and demons.’

’The dungeon is in the west, but going there is as good as killing myself since I don’t know how to fight.’

’And then the Red Ice mountains beyond that... the territory of the Demon of Ice.’

’People say that touching any of the ice alerts him of your presence... but will he be able to recognise that I’m a Nyechistyy and not a pure demon just by my touching the ice?’

’I can’t go to the East because the Demon of Imagination lives there... he’ll simply read my mind and kill me or do something worse once he learns that I transmigrated into this place.’

’The North is the United Fedration of Humanity and further North is the Demon King’s territory... going to both of which would be suicide for the current me.’

’...is there really nowhere safe for me?’

’...’

’I am a half Demon with a weak ass healing ability, have amnesia like an anime protagonist, so where’s my cheat? My golden finger? Why is my system stuck on a random mission!?’

’At least a cool demon powerup transformation as a started gift pack would do!’ the Nyechistyy lampooned while looking at the ’Recognise Mana.’ system prompt in front of him once again.

But he didn’t have the time to complain any further since the next fireball that dropped down made a sharp turn right before it crashed into the ground and nearly slammed into him, forcing him to jump out of the way.

The Nyechistyy landed on his right foot again causing a sharp pain to shoot right up his limp limb but he simply grit his teeth and bore through it.

He pushed himself up after a roll to make it easier to stand up and quickly noticed several people on the ground had noticed him.

However that was not his first problem for now because someone else had noticed him.

"YOU FILTHY NECHISTYY!!!!!!!!"

It was the warden.

He was still alive.

He had transformed heavily.

His horns had grown from four inches to twelve inches and they glowed a bloody red, his wings had unfurled, his tail’s end and his nails looked more like razor sharp knives than anything else.

The Nyechistyy’s eyes widened as he stumbled backwards in horror.

’The warden was a numbered demon!? How!!!????’

Numbered demons were those who could activate the advanced demonic transformation of the demon bloodline.

There were only ten of them, each numbered in a decreasing order of danger. It gave them near infinite regeneration, speed and power, and it also gave them dominion over one concept of the universe.

But above all, each numbered demon was an infinite threat to all the other races since they were only one step from becoming a named demon like the Demon of Ice, the Demon of Imagination and the Demon of Sin.

The Nyechistyy became sure he was going to die a second time today.

Only, the second the warden turned towards him, something miraculous happened.

One second the warden was glaring at the Nyechistyy, the next he was being pummeled into the ground by the same black man whose hand the Nyechistyy had seen grabbing the warden’s ankle earlier.

’Who’s he!?’ the Nyechistyy screamed in his head. ’To be able to go toe to toe with a numbered demon alone! He must be someone crazy!’

’Just what is happening here!? Why are all these powerful people suddenly here today!?’

’Did the Americans discover the Demons were hiding a large mana crystal vein or what?!’

However, seeing the warden an idea emerged in the Nyechistyy’s mind.

’The dungeon!!!’

’I can go and hide in the dungeon!!’

’Even if I don’t know how to fight, I can just stay inside it for a while until someone else clears it.’

’I’m sure my system will make me op anyway, so the dungeon monsters won’t be any trouble!’

Each dungeon created a private instance of itself for each occupant unless they entered together.

Which meant that as long as nobody cleared the dungeon, he could safely hide inside it without anyone chasing after him.

The only issue was that the warden could see everything that happened inside the dungeon. So as long as he was around, the Nyechistyy would never truly be safe.

’Let’s hope the lunatic fool and the warden kill each other.’

The Nyechistyy rushed like a mad dog.

His limp limb flopping as he hopped on his good left leg while pulling out the glass shards stuck in his arm so that it could begin healing.

The Nyechistyy jumped over a conjured snake that was looking for its next prey before ducking under a flying sword that flew right above his head.

He watched as the battlefield raged while walking through a poison cloud since his body could heal itself anyway.

The Nyechistyy watched a necromancer curse a demon to dismantle into organic compounds.

But then the demon’s head split from his body as fangs shot out of it like bullets and embedded themselves into the necromancer’s skull ensuring mutual destruction.

On the opposite side, a twelve foot tall demon whipped a fire lance through the chest of a human before biting the human’s head off as casually as someone plucking meat from a skewer.

Only before he died, the dying man cursed the entire battlefield itself! The sky suddenly turned red because of it and cursed blood began to rain down!

A jet rushed past the city in the sky and carpet bombed the central command center of the city causing the earth to tremble and buildings to collapse.

People screamed as Demons laughed. People laughed as Demons cursed!

The humans who had spotted him began rushing behind him, but the city was at war, it was chaos all around so each spell they cast was lost in a sea of others as the Nyechistyy made his way towards the dungeon.

The Nyechistyy who was still getting used to this new world of his made himself as small as possible and continued to run.

’Damn I always wished that I would be free... but if this is going to be my daily life from today...’

The Nyechistyy beat his limp limb for it to heal faster to stop the stabbing pain from taking over his mind.
