Bai Yingxia heaved a sigh of relief since her apartment had not collapsed.

Before leaving, she stored the bed in her space and checked the situation outside. The snow had stopped, but the world was too silent.

Bai Yingxia was afraid, but she knew that this was her only chance to get ahead of others. So, after taking several deep breaths, she finally opened the door and left her house.Full novel: Transmigrated To The Apocalypse As A Mob Character — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The electricity was still running since the building had an emergency generator. Taking the elevator, she reached the lobby in a few minutes.

Opening her phone, she input the address of a store that sold bowstrings. She looked around and noticed that there was an electric scooter parked nearby.

Without hesitation, she rode the scooter and followed the GPS to the store’s location.

Along the road, she saw many people lying unconscious. At this moment, they looked no different from normal people, so she couldn’t differentiate zombies from ordinary people.

Forty-five minutes later, she arrived at the store. The store was a 3-story building.

After parking the scooter, she checked the door. It was locked, so she took out her tang sword and smashed the large glass window with the scabbard. She avoided the glass pieces and entered the store.

She didn’t know what type of string she needed, so she took everything on the shelves. She also checked the entire building to see if they had a warehouse. As she guessed, the 2nd floor was the warehouse.

After collecting everything in the warehouse, she also took the tools and machines used by professionals to change and maintain the strings.

When she was done, she entered another address. This time, she went to the hospital.

Taking advantage of the fact that the zombies had not awakened yet, Bai Yingxia collected all the medicine, medical tools, surgical tools, large and small medical machines, and supplies stored in the cafeteria.

In the apocalypse, hospitals would be high-risk areas. No one would dare to collect supplies from the hospital at the beginning of the apocalypse. Rather than leaving the food to rot, it was better to take it away.

It took her 3 hours to clean out the hospital’s supplies before going to the next location, the shopping mall.

This time, her goal was not food since she already stocked up a lot before the apocalypse. Her goal was alcohol, cigarettes, gold, jade, and daily necessities.

She checked the map of the shopping mall and went to the designated floor.

At the beginning of the apocalypse, survivors would focus on food and water. No one would take the other things. When they finally wanted them, all of those things would no longer be usable.

Bai Yingxia spent several more hours collecting everything before she entered her space to take a break. She ate a bowl of noodles and drank 2 glasses of spring water before regaining her energy.

Checking her watch, she saw that it was already 8 o’clock in the evening. Without wasting time, she continued her zero-dollar purchase.

Only after all the floors were cleaned out did she go to the underground floor where the hypermart was located.

When she entered the hypermart, she didn’t take the sealed food and water. Instead, she took the snacks, sugar, salt, oil, seasonings, and daily necessities placed on the shelves.

Then, she went to the area where meat, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and frozen goods were sold and took everything. She also went to the cold warehouse and took away all the frozen goods stored inside.

After the apocalypse, food or any ingredients exposed to the air would spoil quickly. And without electricity, leaving them there would only cause them to rot before the zombies woke up.

2 hours later, she walked into the warehouse located on the 2nd underground floor. This time, she left the food and water packed in sealed bags and took away the rest.

When she finished, she finally entered her space. After taking a shower, she went to sleep. The next morning, she woke up at 5 o’clock and continued collecting supplies.

Besides the daily necessities, unsealed food, vegetables, and meat, Bai Yingxia also went to the gas stations.

She collected the gas stored in oil drums and also collected the tanker trucks stranded on the roads. Besides gasoline and diesel, she also stored the LPG tankers and LPG cylinders.

Then, she chose an electric scooter and used it as transportation. Due to the limited battery, she had to change into another scooter several times along the way.

Although she didn’t know how many people could survive after the zombies awakened, she still left the sealed supplies behind for them.

It’s not that she didn’t want them, but if she wanted to survive longer, the human race had to grow stronger, and the foundation of that strength was the survivors. She couldn’t take everything and starve other survivors to death.

When she arrived at the water distillation plant area, she found empty massive water tanks and used them to store the water from the dam. Even though she couldn’t use this water as drinking water, it could be used to wash clothes and take a shower.

After the zombies awakened, the water would be polluted with their rotten flesh and black blood, making it unsuitable even for washing clothes, let alone for showers.

It took her two whole days to finish filling up all the massive water tanks and store them in her space. She didn’t touch the mineral waters packed in sealed bottles.

Since it was already late, she entered her space to take a rest.

Early the next morning, she went to the factory area located at the outskirts of the city. There were several factories in this area, and she had already locked onto her target.

The first factory was the automotive factory. She needed a good car and a motorbike. It would be tiring if she had to walk all the time, and an electric scooter was not an option without electricity.
