At ten o’clock in the morning, Beijing University (A University) had entered its standard lecture period.

However, today, a subtle restlessness permeated almost every classroom.

Professor Li pushed up his glasses, pointing at the IS-LM model curves on the blackboard. “Therefore, in this quadrant, an increase in the money supply will lead to a decrease in interest rates, which in turn stimulates investment…”

He paused, noticing that at least one-third of the students had their heads down. The glow of smartphone screens reflected off their focused faces, though their focus was clearly not directed at the blackboard.

“The male student in the third row wearing blue,” Professor Li called out. “Tell us, in this scenario, how would fiscal policy affect total output?”

The boy in blue flinched in fright, and his phone hit the floor with a loud thwack.

Suppressed laughter rippled through the classroom.

Professor Li walked down from the podium and picked up the phone. The screen was still lit, displaying the “Wen Jin” CP (Couple) Super Topic page. The headline of the latest post read:

【HARD PROOF! An Analysis of WenWen’s Gaze When Sending JinJin to the Exam Center! This is Definitely Love!】

The classroom fell instantly silent.

Professor Li stared at the screen for three seconds, then looked up, expressionless. “So, which is more attractive, the IS-LM model or the ‘Wen Jin’ CP?”

The class was deathly quiet.

“It seems it’s the latter.” Professor Li handed the phone back to the boy. “After class, transcribe the derivation process of the IS-LM model twenty times. Now, let’s continue the lesson.”

The boy sat down with a flushed face, not daring to touch his phone again.

However, on the campus forum, the war had only just begun.

[Trending Thread] Frontline Report: Professors in every classroom have started catching people! Comrades, stay undercover!

OP (The warrior posting from a bathroom stall): Emergency! Professor Li from Economics has captured the first comrade caught scrolling during class! What’s the situation in other departments? Please report!

1L (Physics Dept. Lurker): Reporting! Professor Chen is lecturing on quantum tunneling, but he has looked toward the back row three times! I suspect he’s realized people are scrolling!

2L (Chemistry Dept. Scout): Director Wang is unusually irritable today; he just confiscated two phones! But he keeps checking his watch during the lecture. I bet he’s waiting for the assessment to end!

3L (Biology Dept. Underground Agent): Professor Zhao told us to read the literature ourselves, then sat on the podium… and pulled out his phone! I saw it! It’s the forum page!

4L (Computer Science Tech): Our professor is even more legendary. He wrote directly on the blackboard. “I know you’re all on the forum, but I’m a ‘Wen Jin’ fan too. As long as you don’t delay writing your code, scroll away.”

5L (Math Dept. Sentry): Dean Li didn’t lecture today, he gave us exercises. But in his office… the door wasn’t shut tight, and I saw him looking at photos! It was the feeding photo from this morning!

6L (Foreign Languages Correspondent): Director Liu is unusually gentle today. She said, “Youth is wonderful,” and then gave us self-study time. She’s sitting by the window smiling, looking toward the exam center!

7L (Arts Dept. Observer): Our professor just said it outright: “Today is a special day. I’ll allow everyone thirty minutes to discuss ‘The Application of Fractal Geometry in Emotional Expression’ which is basically letting us ship the CP!”

8L (Forum Admin Xiao Liu): Uh… teachers, please mind the classroom discipline…

9L (Economics Professor Li himself): @Forum Admin Xiao Liu, don’t worry, I’ve handled it. Also, the photos were well-taken, though the composition could be improved.

10L (All Students): !!! HELLO, PROFESSOR!!!

Physics Department Laboratory, Graduate Seminar

Professor Chen was deriving the Schrodinger equation on the whiteboard when he suddenly stopped. He turned to face the distracted students.

“I know what you’re thinking about,” he said.

The students jumped.

“You’re thinking about Xia Yaojin’s assessment, right?” Professor Chen smiled. “To be honest, so am I.”

A collective gasp echoed in the lab.

“So,” Professor Chen erased the formulas on the board, “today we’re changing the topic. Let’s discuss the emotional value of knowledge.”

The students looked at each other in confusion.

“Student Xia Yaojin has infected the entire faculty and student body with her passion for learning,” Professor Chen said earnestly. “She shows us that knowledge isn’t just cold formulas and theorems, it can be warm, powerful, and capable of connecting hearts.”

He paused. “Just as Student Zhu Yawen used fractal geometry to reinterpret art, we can look at physics through a new lens.”

Professor Chen picked up his pen again and drew a heart on the whiteboard, then filled it with complex physical formulas.

“Look, this is the physics version of ‘Love,'” he said. “Rigorous, beautiful, and containing infinite energy.”

The students stared at the heart made of formulas. After the initial shock, they erupted into thunderous applause.

“Therefore, today’s assignment,” Professor Chen laughed, “is to use your professional language to express your blessings for the ‘Wen Jin’ CP. It can be a formula, code, a chemical equation, or a mathematical model, use your creativity.”

The laboratory boiled over with excitement.

Foreign Languages Multimedia Classroom: Selected Readings of British and American Literature

Director Liu put down her copy of Pride and Prejudice and looked at her students.

“Today, we won’t be discussing Darcy and Elizabeth,” she said.

The students looked up in surprise.

“Let’s talk about a love story happening in reality,” Director Liu smiled. “To be precise, a story about growth, courage, and a mutual journey.”

She turned on the projector. The screen displayed those photos from the forum, morning jogs, the library, the feeding, the wiping of the mouth, the hug.

Excited whispers filled the room.

“Zhu Yawen and Xia Yaojin,” Director Liu said slowly, “they show me a modern version of Pride and Prejudice, not the pride of class, but the breakthrough of self-awareness, not the prejudice of the world, but the challenge to traditional frameworks.”

She switched the slide to a photo of Xia Yaojin studying in the library.

“Student Xia Yaojin’s hard work tells us that women can achieve excellence in academic fields, can exist without depending on anyone, and can live independent and brilliant lives.”

She switched again to a photo of Zhu Yawen discussing fractal geometry in the physics lab.

“Student Zhu Yawen’s transformation tells us that love should not be a shackle, but a force that makes both people better. Life shouldn’t have only one possibility, it should have infinite choices.”

Director Liu looked at the students’ sparkling eyes and smiled. “Therefore, today’s classroom discussion topic is: Contemporary Female Self Realization and the Reconstruction of Intimate Relationships through the ‘Wen Jin’ CP. Please express your views in English.”

The classroom became instantly lively.

On the forum, students from various departments began reporting their “classroom combat” statuses.

OP (Classroom Guerrilla Warfare Commander): Latest update! The teachers aren’t catching people anymore; they’ve integrated the ‘Wen Jin’ CP into the curriculum! Physics is using formulas to express love! Foreign Languages is discussing feminism! Arts is researching emotional aesthetics! What kind of god-tier school is this! I love A University!

10L (Secretary Li, President’s Office): President Su asked me to relay a message: She is currently looking at the “classroom achievements” of each department and stated, “This is an excellent example of quality education at our university.”

11L (All Faculty and Students): THE PRESIDENT IS WISE!!!

Time slipped away, minute by minute.

At 4:50 PM, ten minutes remained before the end of the assessment.

A peculiar sight appeared on campus, students began trickling out of various academic buildings, all moving toward the same destination, the Assessment Building.

There was no organized plan, no official call to action.

Yet, students from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Foreign Languages, Arts, Economics… they converged from every direction.

They carried various items in their hands. Physics students held formula cards, Chemistry students had test tubes (empty), Biology students carried plant specimens, Math students held geometric models, CS students had tablets, Foreign Languages students held handwritten blessing cards, Arts students carried sketchboards, and Economics students held data analysis reports.

They gathered quietly in the open space in front of the Assessment Building. No one shouted, they simply waited in silence.

Zhu Yawen stood at the very front of the crowd, her back to everyone, gazing toward the exam hall. Her hands were slightly clenched, but her face remained calm.

On the forum, the real time broadcast began.

OP (On-site Chief Broadcaster): Reporting! Over two thousand people have gathered in front of the Assessment Building! Students from every department came voluntarily! The scene is spectacular yet orderly! WenWen is standing at the very front! She’s been standing there for three hours! Five minutes left until the exam ends!

1L (Remote Viewer A): So nervous! I’m more nervous than when I take my own exams!

2L (Remote Viewer B): JinJin will definitely be fine!

3L (Remote Viewer C): I’m on the scene. The atmosphere is solemn but so warm.

4L (Tech Dept. Xiao Wang): Servers ready! Current concurrent users: 150,000! A new historical high!

5L (Math Dept. Wang Zhe): Countdown: 4 minutes and 37 seconds.

Inside the exam hall, Xia Yaojin wrote the final character of the last question.

She put down her deep-blue fountain pen and exhaled softly. The paper was neat, the handwriting was tidy, and every question was answered. She had checked it three times.

She looked up and out the window. The sunlight was perfect.

The proctors began collecting the papers. Xia Yaojin packed her stationery and carefully tucked her fountain pen back into its case.

The bell rang. The assessment was over.

She stood up and walked toward the exit. Other candidates were already emerging in the hallway, some excited, some dejected, some exhausted. Xia Yaojin’s pace was steady, her expression serene.

She pushed open the heavy doors of the Assessment Building.

The sunlight rushed to meet her. Then, she froze.

The open space in front of the building was packed with people. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Foreign Languages, Arts, Economics… students from every department of the university were there.

When they saw her emerge, a deafening cheer erupted instantly.

“JinJin!” “Top student, you worked hard!” “Welcome back in triumph!”

The wave of sound nearly overwhelmed her. Xia Yaojin stood there, momentarily unsure how to react.

Then, she saw the person at the very front of the crowd.

Zhu Yawen.

She stood there holding a bouquet, not roses but sunflowers, blooming brilliantly in the sun. She was smiling, though her eyes were slightly red.

Xia Yaojin stepped down the stairs, one step at a time, walking toward her. The crowd parted automatically to form a path. The entire world seemed to fall silent, leaving only the sound of her footsteps moving toward her.

Finally, the two stood face to face.

“You worked hard,” Zhu Yawen said softly, handing her the flowers.

Xia Yaojin took the bouquet, leaned down to smell them, then looked up at Zhu Yawen. “You… have been waiting here the whole time?”

“Mhm.”

“So many people…”

“They all came on their own,” Zhu Yawen smiled. “Just like me, they all wanted to see your triumph the very first moment.”

Xia Yaojin looked around at the sincere, smiling faces, and an indescribable warmth surged through her heart. She suddenly understood that this wasn’t just an assessment.

This was a celebration that belonged to her, and to everyone else.

A celebration of the power of knowledge. A celebration of the value of hard work. A celebration of the purest kindness and support between people.

“Thank you,” she said. Her voice wasn’t loud, but it was enough for those in the front row to hear.

Then, she looked at Zhu Yawen and said it again: “Thank you.”

This time, she took the initiative to reach out and gently hugged Zhu Yawen. It was brief, but firm.

The crowd erupted into even more thunderous cheers.

On the forum, the servers hit another traffic peak. But this time, the Tech Department was fully prepared. The new servers steadily carried the revelry of 200,000 people.

Photos, videos, blessings, analyses… they poured in like a tide.

And the two protagonists, surrounded by the crowd, looked at each other and smiled. The sunlight spilled over them, warm and bright.

The story continues. The future has only just begun.
