Author’s pov –
The next morning came .
Jay Jay woke up
Still thinking about the Damien who was trying to rule her world just by money.
And the other man who was worried for her as she didn’t replied to the calls and messages.
The difference is clear between both of them.
One is controlling and the other is caring.
Jay Jay got ready and went to the Bakery.
Meanwhile on the other side –
Keifer woke up and got ready for the company.
He has got more new work the meetings and the report.
He went downstairs, mind continuously thinking about the company meeting.
“Keifer where are you going?
You didn’t did the breakfast.” Serina said
“Mom i don’t want to”.
Keifer replied
“Just eat some ” serina said again.
“Mom i am already late .
Byee ” keifer said and left for the company.
Jay Jay’s pov –
The Day starts asusual.
I came to the bakery and started working.
My mind was again and again drifting towards keifer who was worried about me Yesterday.
It was afternoon now I was still working and then my phone buzzed!!
I took it and the smile appread on my face .
From Serina Ma’am-
Hello My Cookie Supplier.
Are you coming today ??
To Serina Ma’am –
Yes ma’am.
From Serina Ma’am –
Okay .
After That i packed the cookies for her and i remembered i need to make keigan happy he was so upset because of me .
He told me before his favourite flavour is chocolate so i started making chocolate cookies for him .
And what about keifer?
What keifer likes ?
I didn’t know so i made cashew Cookies for him and cashew are my favourite too.
I packed the cookies and left for Watson mansion.
Keifer’s pov –
The morning went all in reviewing the reports of the company.
The meetings is about to start in 20 minutes I am soo tired now only.
Just then a knock on the door came .
“Sir may I come in ?
” A lady employee was standing at the door
I nodded and she came in
“Sir after the meeting , we all are going for the dinner outside.
Would you like to join us ?
” She asked
I don’t want to anywhere
“No ”
“Sir..” she said again.
“No and you can leave ” i didn’t even look at her and she left my cabin .
The cabin became quiet again.I looked at the reports in front of me.Numbers.Meetings.Companies.
This was supposed to be the only thing occupying my mind.
Yet somehow.My thoughts went somewhere else.To a bakery girl who promised she would come.To an amusement park ticket that was still lying on the table at home.
To a phone screen that stayed silent for hours yesterday.Because yesterday I wasn’t angry that she didn’t come.
I wasn’t angry that the plan got cancelled.
I wasn’t even angry that Keigan got upset.
I was only wondering one thing.
Was she really okay?
Because the apology in her message felt genuine.But somehow.
It also felt incomplete.Like there was something she wasn’t telling me.And for some reason.That bothered me more than it should have.
After some time the meeting started .
Author’s pov –
The meeting room was filled with directors, managers and investors.
“The reports don’t match the projections.”
“If the merger fails, the board will hold us responsible.”
Keifer rubbed his forehead.
Another problem.
Another report.
Another decision only he could make.
By the time the meeting finally ended, hours had passed.
His head hurt.
His tie felt suffocating.
And the problems remained exactly where they were.
For the first time that day, Mark Keifer Watson leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes for a moment.
After a while
Another employee came to him
“Sir Mr.Lee is not satisfied with the reports he wants a meeting tomorrow.”
Keifer internally said
“Wonderful, more work ”
He looked at the untouched coffee kept on his table .
And then he left for his home .
Jay Jay’s Pov-
As i reached the Watson Mansion.
I am 3 boxes in my bag
Serina Ma’am opened the door and pulled me into a hug .
“Oh my Cookie Supplier is backk ”
“Hello ma’am ” I said
“Cookies First, Greetings Later ” she said i laughed and handed her the almond cookies Then as my eyes drifted towards the couch keigan was sitting there looking at me , I walked towards him but he stood up and went upstairs.
Woww ??
Really??
Today No Cookie Sister???
I asked serina Ma’am
“Ma’am can I go upstairs i need to talk to him” i asked “Yes ofcourse jay there is no need to ask ” she replied I nodded and smiled as i went upstairs.
He was sitting in a room .
I entered the room slowly.
The room was big but surprisingly cozy.
A gaming setup occupied one corner of the room while football posters decorated one wall.
There were books scattered on the study table , headphones hanging on the chair and a few unfinished snacks lying beside the bed.
A shelf near the window was filled with trophies and medals.
The evening sunlight entered through the large glass windows, making the room feel warm instead of luxurious.
Keigan was sitting on the bed.
I went towards him.
He moved his face to some other direction not facing me.
“Keigan” i called softly
No reply
“Are you really not going to talk to me?”
Still nothing.
“Wow.”
I crossed my arms.
“So this is how easily I get replaced?”
He finally looked at me.
“You promised.”
Oh
There it was.
The reason.
I slowly sat beside him.
“I know.”
“You said you’ll come.”
“I know.”
“You didn’t even tell us.”
“I know.”
He looked away again.
“I was waiting.”
I looked down at my hands.
“I’m sorry, Cookie Brother.”
“No.”
“One apology isn’t enough.”
I blinked.
“What?”
“You owe me compensation.”
I almost laughed.
“Compensation?”
“Yes.”
“What do you want?”
He thought for a few seconds.
“Two amusement park trips.”
“Two?!”
“Three if you keep arguing.”
I stared at him.
“This is robbery.”
“This is business.”
I sighed dramatically.
“Fine.
Two trips.”
He finally looked at me again.
“Promise?” He asked
I smiled and pulled my pinky finger (the little one ) towards him He looked at it and he pulled out his little finger too and hooked with mine “Pinky Promise” i replied He got happy Then i pulled out the chocolate cookie box “This is for you ”
He got shocked and took it
“OMG chocolate cookies”.
He said while laughing .
“Thank You cookie Sister” he said .
“Welcome, still I need to give you two trips?”
I asked him
“Yes” he said
I nodded.
My drifted towards a frame kept on the table.
I went towards it.
In the frame there were two boys standing in the garden.
Arms crossed of both of them .
One is the some years older and the younger one is keigan Ohh wait the older one is ???
His face is still grumy he makes when he is annoyed.
I asked keigan
“Keigan….Is he keifer?
” I asked him whole showing him the frame.
“Yes he is Kiki ” he said while smiling
“Kiki ??” I asked” Yes kuya’s childhood name is kiki” he replied Kiki soo cutee name and i was still laughing looking at the picture “Kiki is so cute ” i said “Don’t tell in front of him ” keigan said “Why ??
”
“He will kill us and first of all me ” keigan replied and I nodded .
After a while
A car entered in the mansion.
Keigan looked through the window and got happy.
“Kuya came” he said and went downstairs and i followed him Still thinking about the cute nickname kiki.
Also comment and let me know some ideass about Jayfer moments i am thinking to add a whol chapter of jayfer Convo in the next ch so if you have some ideas please suggest me.
