Yu Wangge was so frightened her brain simply crashed, and she flailed her hands about wildly, slapping at whatever she could reach.

Not far away, five men stood with their arms crossed, watching the scene with mocking expressions. They had looked like five children before, but now they had returned to their original appearances and builds—the only thing unchanged was that their Mental Power was still F-Rank.

Chu Yanyi looked coldly at Jiang Xuanyu. “Next time you want to kill Yu Wangge, do it farther away. Although these people are exiles too, they don’t deserve to be buried alongside that woman.”Full novel: Villainess Jilted? Jiang Xuanyu crossed his arms and snorted. ”Don’t talk nonsense. I didn’t lure that thing here. Besides, isn’t running into Demonic Beasts on the exile road perfectly normal?”

Demonic Beasts—creatures that had undergone mental contamination during their beast transformation. In the savage wilds, such beasts were everywhere.

Shi Baiheng’s lips curled into an amused smile. ”Want to make a bet? Let’s bet on whether Yu Wangge can make it to the savage wilds alive.”

The other four looked at him as if he were an idiot.

“Is there even a need to bet? With a piece of trash like Yu Wangge, she’ll definitely get torn apart and eaten by these Demonic Beasts within seven days!” Jiang Xuanyu waved his hand, completely uninterested.

“Forget seven days—I doubt she’ll even survive right now.” Huo Chiye glanced over with his narrow, elongated eyes.

Yu Wangge gripped the Demonic Beast’s teeth tightly with both hands, glancing left and right for a chance to break away.

Behind her, a crowd of people had scattered in terror, and there were quite a few sounds of fighting.

Was she really going to die here today?

She refused to accept it!

Yu Wangge suddenly caught sight of the five figures not far away, and her heart lurched. How were these five beasts in human skin here?

“Oh my, we’ve been spotted?” Shi Baiheng gave a devilishly charming smile, a red fan appearing in his hand as he leisurely fanned himself.

“Do you really not plan to intervene?” Bai Yuchuan, who had been silent all along, tilted his head slightly, his cool voice ringing out.

Jiang Xuanyu sneered. “What, did Yu Wangge petting you once smooth your fur? Your eyes are already blind—worry about yourself instead.”

Playing the good Samaritan here.

After Jiang Xuanyu finished speaking, he felt a chill wash over him and walked away in displeasure. He hated Bai Yuchuan the most—so cold it was suffocating.

Bai Yuchuan was about to say something more when he suddenly felt the person beside him straighten up abruptly, staring ahead in shock.

“Impossible!”

Shi Baiheng’s exclamation drew everyone’s gaze over.

At some point, a knife had appeared in Yu Wangge’s hand. They hadn’t even seen how she cut off the Demonic Beast’s head.

The men stared at Yu Wangge in disbelief. What else about her did they not know?

Yu Wangge had no time to care about the five of them. Wielding the knife in one hand, she shuffled backward until she reached a safe area.

The remaining few beasts had already been dealt with by the escort guards.

Yu Wangge scanned the crowd, and the moment she spotted the five little ones, her brow furrowed. When she came back, those five men hadn’t moved an inch.

So these children really had nothing to do with those five men.

Their eyes met. Jiang Xuanyu, shoved by someone unknown, staggered forward a few steps, cursing inwardly, before finally walking toward Yu Wangge through gritted teeth.

“Big sister, are you okay!”

Watching Jiang Yu run up to her, Yu Wangge dodged him expressionlessly. No matter how you looked at it, these people were truly cold-blooded—just as detestable as those five men.

Jiang Xuanyu watched Yu Wangge dodge away, stunned. Yu Wangge never refused them—in fact, she secretly delighted in their overtures.

So now she’d finally grown a backbone.

Yu Wangge crossed her arms and walked up to the other four, her scrutinizing gaze sweeping over them.

“Sister, what’s wrong?” Shi Baiheng looked utterly bewildered, lifting his head at her with an innocent expression, as if he knew nothing at all.

Yu Wangge glanced at the two quiet ones beside him.

“Do you need to eat?”

The baffling question left them all stunned.

“Yes,” Chu Yanyi said coldly.

At F-Rank, they did indeed need food to replenish their strength.

Their puzzled eyes fell on Yu Wangge. What did she mean by asking that?

Don’t tell me she actually had food?

Yu Wangge gave a light laugh. So they needed to eat too, huh.

“Then stay hungry!”

Yu Wangge plopped down on the ground and started rummaging through her bag. To their shock, she pulled a roasted chicken right out of it.

Even more absurd—it was still hot!

Yu Wangge froze for a moment too. Holy mother of—hot?

But she quickly composed herself. The first bite left her completely satisfied.

“Gulp~”

The sound of swallowing rose around them, and the way they looked at Yu Wangge was like watching prey.

The other five came back to their senses and sneered inwardly.

How stupid could she be, eating something so fragrant right under so many watching eyes?

But what intrigued them even more was how Yu Wangge had produced that steaming-hot chicken.

Unless… she had a Spatial Dimension?

Yu Wangge was full after just one drumstick—mostly because it was a bit greasy.

She glanced sideways at the five of them, then stepped forward and pulled Bai Yuchuan into her arms. “Xiao Chuan, you must be starving. Here, a drumstick.”

Before Bai Yuchuan could refuse, Yu Wangge stuffed the drumstick straight into his mouth.

Bai Yuchuan froze, about to say no, when his stomach began growling.

“Eat up.” Yu Wangge ruffled his hair, her gaze flicking imperceptibly over the other four, a cold laugh rising in her heart.

Seeing Bai Yuchuan hesitate, Yu Wangge’s voice turned gentle. “What’s wrong? Don’t you like it?”

She then pulled something icy-cold out of her bag and pressed it into Bai Yuchuan’s hand.

Feeling the coolness in his palm, Bai Yuchuan instantly froze. This thing—he actually did rather like it.

Bai Yuchuan wasn’t the type to be awkward about things. He picked it up and ate it.

“Thank you, Sister. It’s delicious.”

“What a good boy!”

Yu Wangge praised him with a smile.

Seeing Bai Yuchuan eat something Yu Wangge had given him just like that, the four of them felt a wave of disdain.

“Tch, what’s so impressive about that? Isn’t she afraid of being poisoned?”

Jiang Xuanyu snorted coldly. That woman’s food—he wouldn’t eat it even if it were handed to him.

Perhaps the aroma from Yu Wangge’s side was too overpowering—before long, the others’ stomachs began to growl.

Jiang Xuanyu flushed with embarrassment and hurriedly clutched his belly.

Damn it!

Yu Wangge heard it too. Her brow arched slightly, a faint smile tugging at the corner of her mouth as she looked down at the little blind boy before her.

“Want more, Xiao Chuan?”

He’d already eaten one, so Bai Yuchuan saw no need to be coy. He nodded.

Yu Wangge took out another one for him. Though she didn’t know what it was made of, it seemed to be something from Bai Yuchuan’s own storeroom—no wonder he liked it.

Bai Yuchuan kept his head down, nibbling small bites, feeling the gaze resting on top of his head.

Seeing him finish eating, Yu Wangge thoughtfully handed him the flask of Spirit Spring water.

“Have some water.”

Bai Yuchuan thought of what had happened earlier that day. “Thank you, sister.”

He took Yu Wangge’s flask and drank several big gulps.

The others nearby watched this scene, the hunger inside them growing stronger and stronger.

Yu Wangge glanced at them. She wanted to see just how long they could hold out.
