Evaluation complete.

Unit value: 100 Nexus Points.”

Levi raised an eyebrow.

He hadn’t expected the daemon before him to be worth so little.

The price he had paid to buy the Spear of Shadow was five times this selling price.

He had taken a massive loss.

Immediately, Levi chanted silently in his heart and summoned the system.

A parchment-like screen of light abruptly unfolded before his eyes.

On it were five major functional sections: Wizard Forum, System Shop, Friends List, Wizard News, and Official Notifications.

Looking at the system interface, which closely resembled the social media apps of his previous life, Levi was already entirely used to it.

The wizard world had long since conquered technological civilizations similar to the Earth of his previous life, so creating an interface in this style was a piece of cake.

He immediately opened his friends list and found the avatar of a guy with youthful blonde hair among the dozen or so lonely contacts.

Clicking into it, he sent a message.

[Levi: Honorable Wizard Elias, I am your father’s apprentice and now an infiltrator for the wizard world.

I have here a low-tier daemon that has not yet been registered by the wizard world.

I heard you are conducting research on daemon ecology, and I hope this daemon can be of help to you.]

Levi waited a moment but did not receive a message.

However, he was not discouraged.

He waited a few more minutes, and when there was still no reply, he directly sent the daemon before him over as a red packet.

In the next instant.

Ding!

Levi received 1000 Nexus Points from Elias, but as usual, there was still no reply.

He didn’t mind.

Seeing the points in hand, he was fully satisfied and immediately replied:

[Levi: Thank you for your generosity, Wizard Elias.

If there are suitable daemon research specimens in the future, I will definitely send them to you as soon as possible.]

After another few seconds, knowing that the other party most likely wouldn’t reply, Levi closed the system.

This wasn’t Levi asking for a snub; rather, this blonde boy was no ordinary person.

He was the son of his mentor in the wizard world and, at the same time, a true wizard.

Even though he was only a First-Circle Wizard, he was still not someone a wizard apprentice like Levi could compare to.

Furthermore, because Levi had chosen soul transmigration, even a wizard apprentice’s life-bound rune had vanished with it.

He was now just an ordinary person, at most considered a psyker.

Levi looked at the gradually dissipating daemonic afterimage on the wall and thought no more of it.

He quickly began to clean up the battlefield.

He had to destroy the corpse and erase all traces.

He could not let it be exposed that this body had once used a blood sacrifice to obtain power.

The original owner was actually a psychic genius with exceedingly high talent, but he had been stuck at the Philosophicus realm of Magnus’s psychic system.

In order to break through, he used a blood sacrifice array diagram found in the Great Library of Prospero.

As a result, he was seduced by the Warp, leading to his death.

Along the way, he also killed a farmer from the outskirts of Tizca who had stumbled into this place.

As for that corpse, during the process of cleaning the cave, Levi discovered that it had already been eaten clean by the daemon lynx, leaving not even a scrap behind.

Levi thoroughly swept the cave clean.

After confirming that he hadn’t left behind any of his own psychic residue, he walked to the cave entrance with satisfaction.

Raising his hand, he condensed a psychic fireball and smashed it ruthlessly against the rock wall.

Shattered stones fell, successfully blocking the cave entrance completely.

Only then did Levi feel relieved.

This should be enough to eliminate the evidence that he was a corrupted psyker.

He had to be this thorough; otherwise, it was highly likely he would be targeted by Amon, an equerry under Magnus.

Amon commanded the Order of the Blind, a secretive organization encompassing intelligence gathering and psychic judgment.

One of their core duties was capturing corrupted psykers.

Once captured, it was basically a soul interrogation first, followed by exile or a death sentence, depending on the crime.

He stepped out of the dense woods at the cave entrance.

Just as his eyes adapted to the blinding midday sun, and before he even had time to take in his surroundings, his gaze was firmly drawn to an aircraft hovering in midair at the distant horizon, its design as fierce as a bird of prey.

“That looks like an Imperial Stormtalon!”

Levi gazed quietly at the double-headed eagle Imperial insignia on the Stormtalon’s fuselage, his gaze gradually extending further.

The next second, his pupils suddenly contracted.

He saw a golden warship, massive enough to blot out the sky, suspended above the clouds in the deep blue sky.

From beneath the warship, countless aircraft the size of flying ants flew out like shooting stars, plummeting straight toward the ground.

“The Emperor has arrived!”

Levi exclaimed in shock.

He then recalled the timeline of the Warhammer universe.

At this time, Magnus had not yet rejoined the Imperium; he was currently just the ruler of this planet beneath his feet—Prospero.

Now that the Imperial fleet had arrived, it meant Magnus was about to rejoin the Imperium, and the fate of the Thousand Sons Legion would also reach a turning point.

But the thought of having to temporarily live under Magnus’s command gave Levi a headache.

Although Magnus was one of the most powerful psykers in the Warhammer universe, he was also an out-and-out egomaniac and an arrogant fool.

He was the Emperor’s son and the Primarch of the Fifteenth Legion, the Thousand Sons.

He should have sworn loyalty to the Imperium and the Emperor until death.

Yet because of his conceit and recklessness, a single psychic communication caused the Terran Webway to shatter, forcing the Emperor to sit eternally upon the Golden Throne and subsequently plunging the Imperium into eternal suffering.

Following such a leader, he would be doomed sooner or later.

After pausing for a moment, Levi was quickly stunned by the boundless wilderness before him.

Dotted with patches of crystal flower clusters and clear lakes, it was a breathtakingly beautiful place.

This was the wilderness of Prospero, a famous sightseeing destination.

It was exceptionally beautiful, possessing an ethereal and elusive aesthetic.

Levi followed the winding paths for a full two hours, finally arriving at Tizca, the capital of Prospero.

It was a city themed around white marble and crystal glass, with magnificent pyramids and silver towers gleaming under the sky.

Normally tranquil and elegant, it was now teeming with people and bustling with activity.

As soon as Levi approached a city entrance, he heard the noisy clamor of the boisterous crowds around him.

“Let’s go, let’s head to Mithril Square to watch Magister Magnus’s father descend!”

“I heard that is the Master of Mankind!”

“Wow, no wonder he’s Magnus’s father, he’s amazing!”

…

Squeezed by the enthusiastic and simple residents of Tizca, Levi drifted with the tide onto the main marble avenue.

The crowd grew ever more excited.

Chants of “Master of Mankind” echoed repeatedly through the bustling throng.

Amidst the surging crowd, Levi glanced at a single-story white marble house with a courtyard on a street not far away.

He knew this was this body’s house.

Levi’s footsteps paused, then he abandoned his plan to return home.

He wanted to see the demeanor of the Master of Mankind with his own eyes.

Following the tide of people, Levi arrived at the crowd’s final destination, Mithril Square.

Standing on tiptoe at the edge of the square, his line of sight looked over the shifting masses.

A large circular area had long since been cleared in the very center of the square.

Standing at the edge were the Custodes, clad in golden power armor.

Their figures were exceptionally tall, and they held halberds carved with runes, silent as statues.

Their majestic aura caused the nearby crowd to unconsciously lower their voices, not daring to draw close.

A low rumble abruptly sounded, and Levi unconsciously cast his gaze toward that warship in the sky.

His psychic intuition told him that a power capable of easily reshaping the world was about to descend.

The next second.

A golden light suddenly plunged from the horizon like a rainbow, falling straight into the center of the square.

The intensity of the light grew ever stronger, stinging Levi into subconsciously closing his eyes.

When he opened his eyes again, he saw that the light had dispersed, and a golden figure had abruptly appeared in the center of the square.

The Emperor wore magnificent and awe-inspiring golden armor.

His brown hair moved without wind, he wore a golden laurel wreath upon his head, and his divine aura swept across the entire square.

Fervent light erupted in the eyes of the commoners throughout the plaza, raising their arms and shouting “Master of Mankind.”

As the Emperor’s majestic image fell into Levi’s eyes, he couldn’t help but feel it was a bit strange.

During this period, the Emperor was clearly doing his utmost to promote the Imperial Truth and resist religion, yet by acting like this, it would be strange if the Imperial citizens didn’t treat him as a god.

A few seconds passed.

Not far from the Emperor’s side, a psychic blast of mingled gold and red exploded, tearing open the veil between reality and the Warp.

The crimson giant Magnus, draped in the scholar’s robes of mingled gold and red, holding a staff inlaid with crimson gems in his hand, stepped out from the rift churning with purplish-black Chaos lightning.

The instant the Emperor and Magnus’s eyes met, they smiled at each other, and like old friends who had not seen each other in years, both opened their arms and threw themselves into a fierce embrace.

Watching this scene, Levi’s expression trembled slightly.

He saw a father and son, their pure familial love released without reservation in that moment.
