Billy continued his advanced training and climbed higher in ranks. He met with Sheriff Maverick in his office to discuss something important. Meanwhile, the Marshals started glowing blue.
"So why do we glow blue? Is that like an aura or what?" asked Billy.
"No, that's no aura or magic. It's just simply light caused by a chemical reaction or energy in your bodies. There's no magic involved. All things are just simply energy. Similar to energy that all living organisms and things in the material universe use," answered a Marshal.
"Sheriff, I was just wondering what you think we should do about the crystals?" asked Billy.
"I'm sending a special unit to investigate where they are. I've assigned you, Coyote, and myself to the hotspots. Gather them back to the station. Your type of license permits you to use these in your guns," Maverick explained. He continued, "The property technically belongs to the government anyways," said Sheriff.

The three Marshals headed over to a town called Red Town. As they arrived at the town, Billy witnessed many people laying on streets with diseases, in hunger, without money.
"These people need help," said Billy.
"The government is actively trying to fund, but it's not enough. It has to do more," said Maverick.
"It's not the government's responsibility to take care of the poor," said Coyote.
"Well, I think it's our primary responsibility, but government can help provide aid too in certain situations, as long as it's not abused," said Billy.
So during Billy's time in the town, he learned there was a ministry in the area. They fellowshipped together and went out to the streets to share the gospel. They helped feed the poor and needy and prayed for them.
"Now this is a job I love more than my badge," said Billy.
Suddenly, a large giant buffalo entered the town. Everyone ran in horror.
"Not so fast," said Billy. He went on top of the buffalo and started riding it.
"This is more fun than a horse. Wee!" yelled Billy in laughter. Then he took a large rope and rounded the buffalo up.
Billy investigated several shops and museums.
"I haven't seen any around here, but we think a couple of them might be underground. In a safe heavily guarded by traps. A couple thieves put them there a few months back," said the woman.
As Billy walked around, he noticed a strange looking figure of a man with a hat.
"What's this supposed to be?" asked Billy.
"That's the Ruler of the West. There's not much known about him. Some say he was the leader of the Westward expansion a century ago. He's worshipped by a couple religions around here. Some think he might be a god," said the lady.
"That's completely ridiculous," said Billy.
As he walked in the streets, he saw a group of Westerners falling down and worshipping a figure that resembled the figure he saw in the museum.
"O great West Ruler. Keep us safe, o god," they said.
"It's a figure. Do you think it can hear you?" Billy asked.
All the men looked at him.
"In Genesis, Satan said you shall be as gods. Man can never be a god. God is greater than man."
"How dare you," said one of the townsmen as he shoved Billy into a building and punched him in the face, which caused Billy's mouth to bleed.
"Billy!" said the ministers.
"That's alright. Let them do whatever they want. I'm not here to fight right now. You harm me because you know what I'm saying is true," said Billy as he wiped the blood off his mouth. "Do whatever you want. You can even kill me if you want," said Billy.
The man approached Billy but was stopped.
"Let it go, Butch," said a woman.
"I'm just trying to help you. I say this because I care about you," said Billy.

Meanwhile, at Northern Heights, Element walked back over to Moonlight.
"Brother! I don't understand why you hate Cowboys so much. One of them just saved my life," said Element.
"What? Saved your life?" asked Moonlight.
"I was attacked and a Cowboy protected me," said Element.
"I told you to stay out of the West," said Moonlight.
"You're wrong that all Cowboys are bad. It's just not true," said Element.
"And yet you still got attacked. Just like I said you would," said Moonlight.
Later that night, Element started secretly reading the Bible and learning about Jesus, much to his amazement at His life and work.
"This Jesus these Christians preach is very interesting," Element thought in his mind.

Meanwhile, near Arrowtown, Tyler and Jolene rode there on their horse.
"I was upset because I think that I'm starting to have feelings for Billy and I got kind of upset when his mother said to make Reba his girlfriend. I know that it's kind of silly. I'm not even sure if these are real feelings. Maybe I'm mistaken," said Jolene.
"Maybe you should tell him how you feel," said Tyler.
"I don't want to ruin our friendship," said Jolene.

Meanwhile, Moonlight attended a political meeting with the North Tribe. His dad was present. Moonlight was with his followers that advocated for the destruction of the Cowboys. His dad was Chief Tala of the North, the King of Northern Heights.
"Dad, I love you. I want no differences between us, but I think you should reconsider your alliance with the West. The Cowboys don't care about us or our people. That country does not belong to them. It belongs to us. They stole it when they murdered thousands of our people," said Moonlight. "The Cowboys must be destroyed. As natives, we must fight for the pride of our people and reclaim our homeland," said Moonlight.
"The war between the Cowboys and natives happened over a hundred years ago, my son. We must move on in this new generation and not be consumed with hate. It will only fuel more hate. The government of the West has given our people rights, freedom, and dignity. We cannot kill people for the sins of their ancestors and I will not send our people to war. Don't let the hatred consume you. It will destroy you, my son," said Chief Tala.
Moonlight walked away with all his native comrades.
"You disgust me to call you my dad. You're an ally to our enemies and I want nothing to do with you," said Moonlight as he walked away.
"That disrespectful punk," said one of the Chief's guards.
"Just let him go. He needs time alone. He will get over it," said Chief Tala.
On his way out of the Summit, Moonlight ran into his ex-girlfriend Aiyana, a beautiful eighteen-year-old native woman.
"You're not the same person as you were when I met you. That's why we're not together anymore. You're full of hate and revenge and became obsessed with killing Cowboys," said Aiyana.
"I'm glad that you left me. I would never marry someone that supports the Cowboys," said Moonlight.

Meanwhile, Billy, Coyote, and Maverick went down to an underground tunnel. They were shot at by several arrows, bullets, and explosive devices, but they dodged them. Suddenly, a large new species of creature came out and started attacking the three. Its large paws and tail knocked Coyote into a wall. Billy and Maverick fired at it, but to no avail. Maverick threw a large blast at it and killed it.
Finally, Billy saw them. They were five crystals. Billy confiscated them.
On the way out of town, Billy was told to stay by Maverick for one more night.
"There was a report of a murder here a couple months ago before we came here that hasn't gone solved and we wanted to look into the case," said Maverick.
Billy interviewed a middle-aged woman with brown hair.
"I came home and found my husband dead. I don't know what happened and who did it to him," she said.
"Did you see any suspicious people?" Billy asked.
"Nothing out of place," said the woman in tears. His name was Edward Higgins.
In a nearby town, a couple was asleep when they heard a loud thud. The husband got up to look at what it was and saw a bunch of armed men in his house. He was shot and killed. Him and his wife were both found dead.
On Billy's final night, he had a big party with the ministry and played fun family games with the kids. He walked into the town and saw children and their mothers playing in the streets and families together. People were dancing and partying in the streets. The poor people were fed and taken care of.
The next day, Billy woke up. He found hundreds of townsmen, including those from parties, children, ministers, even some women and children, laying dead on the streets from gunshot wounds.
Billy looked at it silently in anger. Maverick and Coyote looked in shock.
"Who could do something like this?" asked Coyote.
"Whoever did this is not going to get away with this. I'm going to find the person who did this and you can mark my words that I am," said Billy.
Coyote and Maverick looked at Billy. They had never seen him so serious before, unlike his usual happy self.

This massacre is your turning point — Billy's goofy fun character just died. If you want, I can help you rewrite that last scene to make it hit harder as a Volume 1 finale?
