Zhou You had absolutely not expected the pregnancy test to be dragged out by Jun and dragged straight into the bedroom, of all places.
The moment Xing Hui saw what was clenched in Dog Jun’s mouth, a storm erupted in his mind.
That thing… couldn’t possibly belong to Dog Jun himself, right?
And besides, dogs don’t even use pregnancy tests.
Most importantly, Dog Jun was a male dog.
It couldn’t be the housekeeper’s either.
The man had been single for fifty years.
And it was even less likely to belong to any of the other servants.
Xing Hui took the pregnancy test from Dog Jun’s mouth, reached out to rub the fluffy dog’s head, praised him for being a good dog and sent him out of the room. Then he stared at the two lines on the test for a full dozen seconds before finally turning his gaze toward Zhou You.
Zhou You stood frozen in place. When his eyes met Xing Hui’s, he took two deep breaths in quick succession.
Xing Hui fixed his gaze on him, as if trying to bore straight into his eye sockets. He held the pregnancy test up in front of Zhou You and asked, “Who used this?”
An utterly knowing question.
Zhou You lay there stiffly, half reclined. He reached out to grab the thing and throw it away but Xing Hui caught his hand in one swift motion. With a sharp pull, he yanked Zhou You up, making him crash straight into his solid chest.
“You really have my seed?” Xing Hui lifted Zhou You’s chin with one hand, forcing him to look up. “Is it real? Hm? Wife, there really is my seed in here!”
That last sentence was spoken as a declaration. His voice brimmed with laughter and before the words even finished landing, he was already cupping Zhou You’s face and kissing him. He looked absurdly delighted, almost crazed, as though he didn’t even know what to do with himself.
As Xing Hui kissed Zhou You, one hand slid inside his clothes, coming to rest on his abdomen.
An overwhelming surge of joy slammed into Xing Hui. His heart felt as though it was being struck over and over, thump, thump, thump. Touching Zhou You’s stomach stirred a strange, indescribable sensation inside him.
Zhou You pressed down on the hand that was roaming over him and tried to break free from Xing Hui’s embrace. Instead, Xing Hui held him even tighter, the kiss growing deeper.
Zhou You twisted his head away with all his strength, then shoved Xing Hui hard. In his panic, he lifted his hand and slapped Xing Hui across the face.
Xing Hui’s head snapped to the side from the blow yet he was still smiling. He pushed his tongue against his sore cheek, looking even more excited, then lunged forward again to kiss, lick, nibble, bite and suck.
The kisses traveled downward, stopping at Zhou You’s stomach. Xing Hui locked both hands around Zhou You’s waist, pinning him in place and obsessively kissed his abdomen, circling, lingering, then stretched out his tongue to lick Zhou You’s skin.
“…Have you had enough yet?” Zhou You’s stomach trembled as a shiver ran through him. He was panting, clutching Xing Hui’s head with both hands and forcefully pushing him away, lifting his leg to kick him.
This bastard had no sense of restraint. Not only was he hurting him but more importantly, the sight of Xing Hui like this terrified Zhou You. It was even scarier than when Xing Hui lost his temper and started shouting.
But his ankle was seized in one swift motion. Xing Hui, clearly overstimulated, looked up at him with a grin and said nothing, lowering his head instead.
“What are you doing!” Zhou You struggled.
Because Xing Hui was licking his foot.
His soles were extremely sensitive. Xing Hui’s tongue was soft, wet and agile. Zhou You jolted all over, his scalp tingling. His foot arched taut in an instant, trembling from his thigh all the way down to his toes. Noticing his reaction, Xing Hui laughed smugly and licked even harder.
Zhou You couldn’t take it anymore. A soft gasp slipped out of him before he could stop it. The next second, he bit down hard on his lip to suppress the stimulation surging from that sensitive spot, then lifted his other foot and kicked straight at Xing Hui’s face.
Caught off guard, Xing Hui took the kick head on yet he was still in high spirits, even laughing out loud as he looked at Zhou You, eyes shining. “That again?” He grabbed Zhou You’s other ankle, gripping it tightly, kissing it as he spoke. “But my wife knows how to hold back now. You didn’t kick hard enough to draw blood.”
When they first started, Zhou You had resisted fiercely. Once, he had kicked Xing Hui at the corner of his mouth, drawing blood on the spot. Another time, he had kicked his cheekbone, leaving it swollen for two days. There was even a time when he nearly dislocated Xing Hui’s jaw.
Back then, every kick Zhou You landed was merciless. Xing Hui’s temper wasn’t good either and the two of them had fought more than once in bed.
After so much time had passed, their tempers had worn down against each other. At least in bed, Zhou You hadn’t kicked Xing Hui in the face for a long while.
And on the rare occasion he did, Xing Hui would visibly become even more excited.
Because of Xing Hui’s words, Zhou You seemed to recall how it had been in the beginning, Xing Hui looking just like this, overly excited, with a gaze so obsessed it bordered on madness, as though he wanted to devour him whole.
That was not a good memory.
An instinctive fear rose in Zhou You’s subconscious and he struggled even harder.
“Let go of me! Don’t touch me!”
But it was as if Xing Hui couldn’t hear him at all. He kept licking, then returned to Zhou You’s stomach, pinning him beneath him and forcing his abdomen completely exposed.
Both their clothes were rumpled, their hair a mess, like two animals licking at each other’s bellies, except that this small animal, Zhou You, clearly wanted nothing to do with being licked by this larger one.
“I said don’t touch me!” Zhou You was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, startled and panicked. He beat at Xing Hui with both hands, his voice rising sharply. “Don’t lick! I said don’t! Xing Hui!”
Yet Xing Hui still didn’t listen. He didn’t stop. He licked with fervor, as though determined to lick a flower into bloom right there.
In the end, Zhou You had no choice but to use a method he had resorted to many times before. He reached up and grabbed a fistful of Xing Hui’s hair, hard.
Xing Hui immediately sucked in a sharp breath and let go.
“Wife, wife, let go! Let go! It hurts! It hurts!”
But Zhou You didn’t release him. He was scared. This version of Xing Hui made his skin crawl.
“I’m not doing it,” he forced out through clenched teeth. “Get out.” Only then did he let go and put some distance between them.
It was only then that Xing Hui realized Zhou You had misunderstood him. He moved to pounce again but Zhou You shrank back in terror, crying out, “Don’t come over!”
“No, wife, you’re pregnant. I won’t do anything,” Xing Hui said, laughing happily, openly. “Haha, you misunderstood. I just wanted to kiss you, lick you and lick our baby too.”
Even after hearing that, Zhou You’s body remained tense, a chill creeping over him. “I don’t need you to do that.”
Seeing how resistant he was, Xing Hui compromised and shifted back a little.
Zhou You relaxed slightly. “Get out.”
“No. You’re pregnant. I have to stay with you,” Xing Hui said, moving closer again.
Zhou You retreated until his back hit the headboard, nowhere left to go. He decisively got out of bed.
Xing Hui laughed, amused. “Why are you so afraid of me? I really won’t do anything. There’s a baby in your belly.”

Standing by the bed, Zhou You frowned, his expression cool and faintly displeased. “It’s not certain that I’m pregnant.”
“What do you mean by that?” Xing Hui picked up the pregnancy test from the floor. “Two lines. I remember clearly. That means pregnant.”
At least that much knowledge Xing Hui did have.
“This is an Omega specific pregnancy test,” Zhou You said stiffly. “There aren’t alpha specific ones sold on the market, because the probability of an alpha getting pregnant is extremely low.” His face was taut. “So I’m not necessarily… pregnant.”
Xing Hui’s expression changed abruptly. He stared at Zhou You, stunned. “Is that so? Then how do we know whether you’re pregnant or not?”
He looked extremely earnest, even a little anxious. Before Zhou You could answer, he quickly added, “I’ll arrange for a top expert in alpha pregnancy right now. We’ll go to the hospital for an examination.”
Zhou You had originally planned to go to the hospital for a checkup but for reasons he couldn’t explain, he suddenly felt resistant.

Xing Hui’s brow furrowed deeper but his tone remained negotiative. “They’ll just take a look. You can sleep.”
“I said no!” Zhou You suddenly became irritable, snapping harshly. “Can’t you understand?”
His repeated rejection sparked a trace of anger in Xing Hui. “You’re the one who said the Omega pregnancy test isn’t accurate, so I suggested going to the hospital. Why are you losing your temper?”
He snorted lightly. “You don’t want to go? I’ll say this right now, today, we’re going for an examination no matter what! Whether there’s my seed in your belly or not, I have to know the result tonight!”
Zhou You was carried out of the bedroom by Xing Hui.
He was scooped up effortlessly and slung over Xing Hui’s shoulder, who strode out of the room with excited steps.
Seeing this scene, Liao An thought the two of them were fighting again.
Dog Jun, who had been lying in the living room, heard the commotion and also assumed Zhou You was being “bullied” again. He immediately got up and rushed over, barking anxiously at Xing Hui’s feet, though still somewhat afraid of him.
“Put me down!” Zhou You struggled. “You’re pressing on my stomach!”
Only then did the overly excited Xing Hui react. He hurriedly put Zhou You down and reached out to touch his stomach, his face full of smiles. “Careful not to squash my precious son.”

They went to the military district hospital in A City. It was within Xing Hui’s jurisdiction and more importantly, there had once been cases of alpha pregnancy there.
Xing Hui’s car slowed as it approached. The guards recognized the license plate, immediately let it pass and stood at attention to salute as the car entered the hospital.
Zhou You’s expression was blank as he followed the doctor through a series of tests, blood draw, urine test, pheromone sampling, abdominal ultrasound.
Xing Hui, meanwhile, was visibly tense, even clasping his hands together in prayer.
The ultrasound results came quickly. When they saw the report, both Xing Hui and Zhou You showed varying degrees of reaction.
