Xing Hui’s face went cold as he glared at the uneasy doctor, his tone hostile. “Are you saying all the machines in our military hospital are malfunctioning?”
The doctor nervously adjusted his glasses. “Major General, this batch of equipment was just replaced.”
As his words fell, Xing Hui’s gaze darkened. He stared at the doctor without saying a word.
The doctor immediately stood up from his chair, adjusted his glasses again and shot a pleading look toward Zhou You.
Zhou You’s face showed little expression but he seemed distracted. After about ten seconds, he finally spoke, his voice slightly hoarse. “Let’s go home.”
With that, he turned and walked out of the examination room.
Xing Hui immediately chased after him, his mood clearly foul. “So you’re happy that you’re not pregnant?” The moment he thought about how, during the nearly three hour trip from home to A City, Zhou You had worn that detached, indifferent expression, as if none of this concerned him at all, even during the hospital examination, as though the one being examined wasn’t him, he realized that Zhou You never wanted to be pregnant in the first place.
That realization stabbed straight into his heart. The pain surged up into his eyes, leaving them faintly red as he stared at Zhou You. “I’m telling you, don’t be happy too soon! Your reproductive cavity hasn’t completely degenerated. From today onward, I’ll fuck you every day! I refuse to believe you can’t get pregnant with my seed! And medical technology can make alphas pregnant too! You’d better understand that clearly!”
Zhou You frowned, looking at him with undisguised disbelief. “Aren’t you disgusting?”
“I’m disgusting? How am I disgusting?”
Zhou You took a deep breath, feeling that communication was impossible and simply quickened his pace.

But Zhou You always met him with indifference, ignored him, rejected him, pushed him away.
Once they got into the car, both of them sat with cold expressions, not saying a word.
The oppressive atmosphere inside the car was so heavy that the driver barely dared to breathe.
At a certain moment, Xing Hui spoke. “Pull over.”
The driver knew exactly what stopping meant. He efficiently pulled over to a deserted spot and said, “Major General, I’ll get out and have a smoke.” With that, he unfastened his seat belt and got out of the car.

“I’m carsick. I need to get out for some air,” Zhou You frowned. “Let go of me.” He pushed at Xing Hui as he spoke.
As a high ranking alpha, Xing Hui’s strength was no joke. He had crushed enemy bones on the battlefield with his bare hands. Subduing a struggling Zhou You was effortless for him.
The difference in their strength was enormous.
Xing Hui completely overshadowed Zhou You, pinning him to the car seat,不给 him any chance to struggle or curse and roughly captured his lips in a kiss.
Zhou You kept his lips tightly sealed, dodging as much as he could but his head was fixed in place by one of Xing Hui’s hands, while the other pinched his cheeks, forcing his mouth open.
Zhou You struggled so violently that Xing Hui had to free one hand to recline the seat a little, then used his legs to pin Zhou You’s thrashing legs, his upper body pressing down on Zhou You’s torso.
The scent of roses had already begun to fill the car. Xing Hui had long since undone his inhibitor bracelet and reached out to remove Zhou You’s as well, all while never breaking the kiss.
Zhou You whimpered under the kisses, saliva slipping from the corner of his mouth. His hair and clothes were already in disarray, making him look pitiful.
At this moment, Xing Hui was much like he had been five years ago, gentleness was something he could hardly be said to possess toward Zhou You.
His kisses stopped but his hands did not, roughly tugging at Zhou You’s pants.

Xing Hui leaned in to kiss him again, wrapping his arms around him and rubbing his back in a soothing manner. When Zhou You’s emotions calmed slightly, he reached down and yanked away the obstructing pants along with the underwear.
Xing Hui was desperate, his heavy, ragged breathing brushing against Zhou You’s ear. Fine, relentless kisses fell across Zhou You’s face and lips as he forced him open to the fullest extent, without much gentleness.
Zhou You clenched his brows, cheeks flushed deep red as he struggled to endure the desire being provoked. Before long, Xing Hui had reduced him to tears again.
Xing Hui’s warm lips kissed away the tears at the corners of Zhou You’s eyes. His large hand moved to the gland at the back of Zhou You’s neck, his kisses slowly trailing there as well. Even though they had done this many times before, the instinctive repulsion between two alphas made Zhou You grow uneasy, struggling again.
Biting a gland and injecting pheromones was something that went violently against nature when done between two alphas. Zhou You resisted fiercely.
That resistance only made Xing Hui’s eyes burn red. He opened his mouth and bit down viciously, frantically pouring in his own pheromones.
The sharp pain made Zhou You cry out, a sudden illusion overtaking him, that he was being seized by the neck by some dangerous beast. He thrashed wildly, trying to break free of Xing Hui’s control.
In the struggle, both of their heads struck the roof of the car to varying degrees.
Only then did Xing Hui’s lost rationality return. He stopped immediately, holding Zhou You and checking his head anxiously. “Does it hurt?”
Zhou You lay against his shoulder, panting, as though he had just been dragged out of water. His entire body was sticky and uncomfortable, that place swollen and numb. Hearing Xing Hui’s worried words, he suddenly found it almost laughable, this bastard had inflicted pain on him far greater than bumping his head.
“Does it hurt here?” Xing Hui’s attention was still fixed on whether Zhou You had hit his head. “Anywhere else?” When he got no response, he frowned, a little displeased. “Ignoring me again?”

But when he saw Zhou You’s tear streaked face, no matter how much his heart bled or how sharp the pain was, it all softened at once.
“Don’t cry.” He raised his hand to wipe away the tears. “Zhou You, don’t cry, okay?”
Xing Hui was in agony. Why was Zhou You so hard to love?
Zhou You choked, “Can’t you just let me go?”
“No,” Xing Hui’s eyes were rimmed red. “Unless you kill me.”
Zhou You stared at him blankly. “Why?”
“You still don’t know why?” Xing Hui looked at him. “Fine, it’s okay. I can say it a thousand times, ten thousand times, because I like you. I love you. I want you. Do you understand now?”
“But I don’t… like you,” Zhou You swallowed hard. “And I don’t… love you. I don’t like men.”
Those same three sentences again and again, as if repeating them could truly kill Xing Hui.

Don’t love me.
Xing Hui’s heart seized. He wanted to cry but words sharper than tears came first. “Who the hell cares?” His voice dropped to ice cold. His hand closed around Zhou You’s neck, his eyes red as he glared at him, his throat tight as he forced out one last sentence through clenched teeth.
“You were the one who provoked me first.”
