Zhou You returned to the bedroom and reattached a blocking patch. Still uneasy, he also put on his inhibitor bracelet, even though it felt unnecessary.

He had a feeling they wouldn’t be going to the old house tonight.

Feeling irritated, Zhou You undid the top buttons of his shirt. At that moment, the bedroom door opened and a familiar, strong, aggressive Alpha pheromone rushed in, making him frown instantly. He quickly buttoned his shirt back up, fastening it all the way to the top.Full novel: When a Straight Guy Transmigrates into an Alpha, He Can Get Pregnant — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Meanwhile, Xing Hui’s clothes were being discarded one by one at Zhou You’s feet. His pheromones spread freely, stimulating Zhou You and making him restless. Enduring it, Zhou You glared at him angrily. “Put away your pheromones.”

Xing Hui walked up to him, utterly brazen. “I want it.”

Zhou You’s ears flushed red instantly. He turned his face away, refusing to look.

Xing Hui pinched his chin, forcing him to look up. “I told Dad we’re not going back tonight.” As he spoke, his hand moved to the buttons Zhou You had just fastened, undoing them one by one.

Zhou You frowned and raised his hand to stop him. The next second, his hand was caught in Xing Hui’s palm. Xing Hui kissed the back of it and asked, “You do it yourself?”

“I’m tired,” Zhou You said.

“Then I’ll do it. You don’t need to do anything.” Xing Hui’s hand slid down to Zhou You’s narrow waist and wrapped around it. Leaning close to his ear, he spoke seductively, “I’ll make sure you’re well taken care of.”

Zhou You pushed him away and quickly adjusted the setting on his inhibitor bracelet. “I’m really tired and we just… yesterday. Can’t you stop for one day?”

Xing Hui ignored the question and stuck close again, changing the subject. “What did you go to Xiao Liu’s for today?”

“Didn’t you already know?” Zhou You couldn’t lie and wouldn’t lie. Xing Hui had many people watching him, there was a tracker in his phone and in front of Xing Hui, he truly had no secrets.

Except for the fact that he was a transmigrator.

“I want to hear it from you.” Xing Hui looked at Zhou You, gently rubbing his chin with his thumb. “So, who is the man in the photo?”

His voice was slightly seductive, warm and gentle, not sounding angry at all.

“A relative,” Zhou You could only say that and this lie wouldn’t be exposed, because the person in the photo was his original appearance. Even if Xing Hui sent people to investigate, they wouldn’t find anything.

“A relative?” Xing Hui narrowed his eyes, clearly unconvinced. He had already investigated Zhou You thoroughly. Where did this relative come from? He frowned. “If you don’t tell me the truth, you know the consequences. I won’t do anything to you but I won’t be merciful to others.”

Zhou You let out a light laugh and said flatly, “If you can find him in this world, then you’re capable.”

Hearing that, Xing Hui thought for a moment and asked, “Dead?”

You’re the one who’s dead, Zhou You cursed silently.

“If he’s dead, why restore his photo?” Xing Hui said, gripping Zhou You tightly as he controlled his breathing. “You didn’t answer my calls or messages because of him. Just what kind of relative is so important to you?”

Zhou You’s body stiffened slightly. He said calmly, “We’ve been married for so many years. You still don’t trust me?”

“I don’t trust you.” Xing Hui cupped Zhou You’s face and kissed him. “Give it to me. I want it.” His hand moved to the back of Zhou You’s neck, peeling off the blocking patch there, his lips landing on the gland again and again.

Zhou You closed his eyes. Even though he resisted intensely on a psychological level, this body desired Xing Hui far more than he had imagined.

A faint, elegant lily fragrance spread out. Zhou You’s pheromone was an icy double-petaled lily, light and subtle, just like him, always distant and cold.

Perhaps due to Alpha instincts, when two Alphas went to bed together, their pheromones clashed, leading to instinctive rejection.

One bed could not tolerate two Alphas.

That was why Xing Hui felt Zhou You was cold.

In truth, Zhou You simply couldn’t accept being slept with by another man as a straight man.

Xing Hui was always obsessed with leaving bite marks on Zhou You’s gland, flooding it with his own pheromones, attempting to mark him.

It was sheer wishful thinking. Two Alphas, no matter who was dominant, could never mark each other.

Xing Hui’s pheromone was rose-scented. As a transmigrator, Zhou You didn’t dislike the smell but being constantly dragged into sex made him develop both physical and psychological aversion. He had told Xing Hui many times that he didn’t like the scent of his pheromones.

Xing Hui was hurt by that but there was nothing he could do. Pheromone scent was innate and couldn’t be changed. So all he could do was release more of it, hoping Zhou You would grow accustomed to the rose scent and eventually like it.

A satisfied smile colored Xing Hui’s voice. “Your pheromones are leaking.”

Zhou You couldn’t keep his composure and flushed.

Xing Hui reached to undo Zhou You’s inhibitor bracelet, chuckling softly. “Didn’t you learn biology? If you’re wearing a blocking patch, you don’t need an inhibitor bracelet.”

Zhou You frowned and still refused. “I don’t want to.”

Xing Hui paused slightly, then casually tossed the expensive inhibitor bracelet aside and looked at him. “I want to.” He wrapped an arm around Zhou You’s waist and pulled him closer. “Are you sure you don’t want it?”

Zhou You’s body tensed unnaturally, his face flushing even deeper red.

The entire room was filled with the scent of roses, growing thicker and more intense, so strong it easily overwhelmed everything else.

Xing Hui was very good at taking care of Zhou You’s emotions. After all, in the beginning, Zhou You had resisted fiercely. Xing Hui had exhausted every method, carefully and patiently easing him through a kind of desensitization, before Zhou You was finally willing.

But even now, when it came to this matter, Zhou You was still extremely prone to tears.

Soft sobs escaped him, his eyes swollen and red, his hair and lashes damp. From time to time, he would beg in a trembling, tearful voice, so completely different from his usual self. In moments like these, he was obedient, almost docile.

These were rare moments when Xing Hui felt Zhou You’s softness directed solely toward him and he enjoyed it immensely.

“You always say you don’t like my pheromones,” Xing Hui said as he continued without pause. “But you obviously like them very much.”

Zhou You said nothing. He turned his head away, shut his eyes and refused to look at him.

Xing Hui let out a low, malicious laugh, then deliberately retaliated in a far more infuriating way.

The phone on the bedside table rang while Xing Hui was holding Zhou You, kissing him deeply.

Annoyed by the interruption, Xing Hui ignored it and simply tightened his arms around Zhou You.

The vibration stopped and then Zhou You’s phone rang instead.

Zhou You’s body stiffened instantly.

Xing Hui loosened his hold slightly. “It must be Dad.”

“Get out!” Zhou You shoved him.

Xing Hui didn’t move. He only reached out, picked up the phone and as expected, it was his father. He answered it directly.

“Hello, Dad.” Xing Hui’s voice was low and hoarse.

Hearing Xing Hui’s voice, Xing Mingyuan immediately grew displeased. “Why is it so hard to get you to come home? What are you doing?”

Xing Hui sounded lazy. “What do you think I’m doing?”

“Speak properly!” Xing Mingyuan snapped irritably. “What nonsense are you up to?”

Xing Hui chuckled. “Nothing at all.”

“Dad, if there’s anything, let’s talk about it tomorrow. Tomorrow Zhou You and I will come back together.”

“Where’s Zhou You? Let him answer the phone.”

Xing Hui kissed Zhou You lightly, then held the phone to his ear.

Hearing the old man’s voice from the phone, the icy expression on Zhou You’s face softened slightly. His Adam’s apple rolled.

Xing Hui kissed him again, his hands restless, deliberately so, moving twice in slow provocation.

Zhou You clenched his teeth, glaring at him in humiliation and anger. He adjusted his breathing before speaking. “Dad.” Only then did he realize how hoarse his voice sounded.

It was far too obvious what they had been doing.

Xing Mingyuan fell silent.

The call ended.

Xing Hui laughed viciously. Zhou You was so embarrassed he could hardly stand it. He propped himself up slightly, lifted his leg and kicked Xing Hui hard off the bed.

Face burning red, Zhou You’s expression turned cold. He got out of bed, wrapped himself in a robe and went into the bathroom to shower.

The next day, the old man called again, telling the two of them to come over at noon for a meal.

“Darling, should we find someone to keep Dad company?” Xing Hui asked casually.

His Omega father had passed away early, leaving his Alpha father to raise him alone.

Years ago, Xing Hui had mentioned this to his father and been scolded thoroughly.

In the past two years, perhaps because his father was getting older, he had been hoping Xing Hui and Zhou You would move back to the old residence.

The old residence was indeed large but from aides and junior officers to servants and household staff, it was always bustling. On top of that, the Alliance Central had endless affairs and the Xing family was filled with relatives and dignitaries constantly coming and going. His father simply couldn’t sit still.

“You discuss it with Dad,” Zhou You replied indifferently.

Xing Hui looked at him. “When we go back, I’ll say you’re okay with it?”

Zhou You lowered his eyes. “Whatever.”

Even with such a perfunctory attitude, Xing Hui didn’t get angry. Under the table, his foot brushed lightly against Zhou You’s calf. “Alright, then I’ll say that.”

After breakfast, Zhou You went to stroll through the vegetable garden. Xing Hui was constantly on the phone handling military affairs yet his steps followed Zhou You closely, never straying even a step. Trailing along with them was Junjun, a fluffy white bundle wagging its little tail as it trotted along.

At one point, Zhou You said, “Junjun, keep up.”

Junjun immediately sped up, its little tail wagging even harder.

Junjun was a small white mutt, not very big. Xing Hui had picked it up by the roadside two years ago, when it had been newly born, no bigger than a palm. He brought it home to keep Zhou You company. From that day on, Junjun had been loyal only to Zhou You, while Zhou You doted on Junjun like a son.

Junjun’s treatment towards Zhou You was far better than Xing Hui’s.

Xing Hui immediately followed closer. “You only see the dog, don’t you? I’m standing right here, don’t you see me?”

Zhou You didn’t respond. He bent down and picked up the little white bundle at his feet.

Taking advantage of his position, Junjun barked twice at Xing Hui. Furious, Xing Hui glared at the dog, jealousy bubbling as he muttered, “Shameless dog.”

Zhou You walked around the garden, picked two strawberries and fed them to Junjun. Without expression, he walked past Xing Hui and left.

As soon as he returned inside, he ran into Shen Heng, who had just arrived. Zhou You treated him as if he were invisible, not sparing him a single glance, walking straight past him into the bedroom and slamming the door shut.

Shen Heng was startled and stood there blankly. When Xing Hui came over, he asked, “Did you two fight last night?”

“No.”

“Then why does he seem unhappy?”

Xing Hui frowned at him. “You’re awfully concerned about my Zhou You.”

Shen Heng: “……”

Right. He shouldn’t have been so nosy.

Shen Heng felt Xing Hui was borderline insane. Who watched their spouse this closely? But it had nothing to do with him, so he got to the point. “Where’s my phone?”

Xing Hui handed it over.

Shen Heng took it, snorted and asked, “Did you find anything?” Thinking about Xing Hui checking his phone made him angry. “I’m telling you, Xing Hui, if it were anyone else, I wouldn’t put up with this!”

“The island you wanted last time, I’ve given it to you.”

Shen Heng’s eyes curved into a smile. “Oh my, I didn’t mean it like that but since you’re so sincere, I won’t refuse.”

That island had originally been meant for Zhou You. Xing Hui had imagined taking Zhou You there, open skies, beaches, sunlight, waves, moonlight, a sea of stars, becoming one with nature. Unfortunately, Zhou You refused no matter what.

They had even argued over it and Zhou You hadn’t spoken to him for several days afterward. Otherwise, Xing Hui truly wouldn’t have handed it over to Shen Heng.

Xing Hui didn’t bother entertaining him further and headed toward the bedroom to see what Zhou You was doing. Just then, the bedroom door opened and Zhou You walked out, fully dressed.

Xing Hui stepped forward. “Heading to Dad’s already? Isn’t it a bit early?”

“Work.”

“Didn’t you have the day off?”

“There’s an emergency case.” Zhou You’s tone was cool. He didn’t look at him, walking straight toward the door.

“Then I’ll take you,” Xing Hui followed.

“No need.” Zhou You finally glanced at Shen Heng.

Xing Hui also looked over. Shen Heng immediately stood up. “Just remembered I have something to do. I’ll head out first.” He left in long strides. As he passed Zhou You, he instinctively smiled at him but the smile vanished the next second under Xing Hui’s knife-like glare and he disappeared quickly.

“I’ll drive you. It’s more convenient,” Xing Hui insisted.

The entire ride, Zhou You remained silent.

When they reached the hospital, Xing Hui insisted on walking him upstairs.

Zhou You finally snapped. “Xing Hui, should I quit this job and just stay at home forever? Would that make you happy?”

Xing Hui explained that he hadn’t meant anything by it.

Zhou You sneered. “You can suspect me and Shen Heng and you still say you don’t mean anything by following me now? And don’t come upstairs, you’ll interfere with my work!” With that, he entered the building coldly.

Xing Hui took two steps after him. “What time will you be done? I’ll come pick you up.”

The only answer he got was Zhou You quickening his pace.

More than two hours later, Zhou You’s figure appeared in his line of sight. Just as Xing Hui was about to go greet him, he saw a young man hurry up to Zhou You, sling an arm over his shoulder, his expression and movements extremely intimate.

On Zhou You’s face was a gentle smile Xing Hui had never seen before. The look in his eyes was soft and warm, completely different from his usual coldness.

Xing Hui’s gaze instantly dropped to freezing point. He then strode toward them.
