Xia Ruohan logged onto the school’s online forum.

Someone had snapped a photo of the Maserati she drove and posted it on the forum with a title that left plenty to the imagination.

#A female student from a certain department at D University drives a Maserati to and from school. We’re all students—how come there’s such a huge difference?Full novel: Young Master, your wife has gotten into trouble again — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

A few of the replies below were particularly heated.

“Her family must be sitting on a goldmine.”

“That Maserati isn’t something the rich kids at D University can afford.”

“What’s the OP’s point? Envy or jealousy?”

“It’s none of your damn business if she drives a Maserati. Go sulk somewhere.”

“If she drives a Rolls-Royce tomorrow, are you going to tip off the media so they can come to D University and interview that female student from such-and-such department?”

The most aggressive comments at the end could only have come from Song Nan.

The only people who knew Xia Ruohan drove a Maserati to school were her and Ruan Jinxi. Ruan Jinxi goes without saying—she might be mean to anyone else, but she’d never be mean to Xia Ruohan.

So it was obvious who posted the thread.

Xia Ruohan only found out about this when she arrived at school today.

Her car was parked in the school lot, and the moment she got out, she heard someone calling her name.

Before she could figure out what was going on, a few boys walked over and surrounded her.

“Are you Xia Ruohan from the Art Department?”

Xia Ruohan took a step back, her hand on the car door handle. “What do you want?”

D University was a public school that produced many outstanding students, but it also had its share of troublemakers—especially those petty thugs.

“What do we want?” one of the boys asked, grinning at her. “You can afford a car this expensive—your family must be rich.”

“We’re not rich.”

Xia Ruohan kept telling herself that this was campus—no one would dare do anything to her here.

“No money?” The group exchanged smirks, their faces twisted with derision. “You’re such a pretty girl—if your family can’t afford this, then you must be a kept woman.”

At the mention of the word “kept,” Xia Ruohan’s delicate brows furrowed.

“Watch your language.”

“Watch our language? Do we need to be polite to a kept woman like you? I wonder how many times you’ve been slept with.”

A hand reached out to touch Xia Ruohan’s face. She turned her head to dodge it, her voice tinged with anger: “This is a school. Get out of my way.”

“Oh? You’ve got quite the temper.”

“Let us have our fun, and we’ll let you go.”

“Are you guys out of your minds?”

Song Nan’s casual voice suddenly rang out, and Xia Ruohan’s tense nerves relaxed.

“Another one?”

The boys’ eyes gleamed with greed when they saw Song Nan.

Song Nan wore a black T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and a pair of high-top canvas sneakers. As she clasped her hands together to crack her knuckles, a crisp sound rang out between her bones.

Her expression was one of nonchalance and defiance, even more arrogant than these guys.

The men clearly didn’t realize Song Nan was no ordinary person; one of them stepped forward, intending to grab her.

Song Nan delivered a roundhouse kick, slamming it hard into his chest.

“Damn, this girl’s got some moves,” the guy cursed, his anger ignited.

The men exchanged glances and charged at her together.

Song Nan wasn’t intimidated. Single-handedly, she knocked all of them to the ground, where they lay unable to get up for quite some time.

Xia Ruohan stood by, watching in utter astonishment, not uttering a single sound.

Song Nan cleared her throat, walked over to her, and asked, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. Song Nan, you were so cool just now! ” Xia Ruohan suddenly grabbed her arm, her face beaming with excitement. “Will you teach me?”

Song Nan: “……”

Forgive her, but she couldn’t do that.

Let whoever’s young lady it is deal with her—she wasn’t going to get involved.

The school security guards arrived to take those men away, and Xia Ruohan was called in for questioning. The matter was quickly resolved.
