Being stared at so intently by his Little Sister, Jiang Xun’s ears flushed crimson. He secretly glanced at her, his Adam’s apple bobbing. Unable to resist any longer, he leaned closer and softly called out,

Li Tong immediately raised both hands with her palms facing him, her expression completely serious.

Although he had no idea what she was planning, Jiang Xun obediently copied her.

Nan Qi forced a smile that did not reach his eyes. He firmly turned Li Tong around until she was facing him. Though he wore a cheerful smile, danger filled his gaze as he gritted out through clenched teeth,
“What are you doing, sweetheart?”
Jiang Xun glared darkly as he shook off Qin Shuo’s hand, clearly irritated at having been interrupted.

After staying beside them for a while and confirming that everything was proceeding normally, Li Tong returned to the apartment outside.

The endless pounding rain mixed with the howling wind, sounding like the miserable wails of evil spirits from Hell.
