More than a hundred guards stood before the twin brothers.

Some wielded swords engulfed in flames.

Others gathered wind around their spears.

Several mages had already begun chanting powerful spells from the rear.

The atmosphere became unbearably tense.

Yet…

Neither KING nor Shadow moved.

They simply stood there, their black robes swaying gently in the night breeze.

Patriarch Ye’s face twisted into fury.

“What are you waiting for?” “Kill them!” At his command, the guards charged.

“For the Ye Family!” The earth shook beneath their footsteps.

Dozens of magical attacks illuminated the night sky.

Fireballs…

Wind blades…

Stone spears…

Lightning bolts…

All of them rushed toward the two brothers simultaneously.

Shadow calmly raised his right hand.

An enormous wall of crystal-clear ice burst from the ground.

BOOM!!

Every attack collided with the ice barrier.

Explosions echoed throughout the mansion.

Smoke engulfed the entire courtyard.

The guards smiled.

“We got them!” “They’re finished!” Then…

Crack…

Crack…

The smoke slowly parted.

The ice wall remained standing.

Not even a single crack had appeared upon its surface.

Silence.

Every guard froze.

Shadow lowered his hand.

“My turn.” With a gentle wave…

Hundreds of razor-sharp ice lances formed behind him.

Each one radiated terrifying magical power.

The guards’ expressions changed instantly.

“Retreat!” But it was too late.

Whoosh!

The sky turned white.

The ice lances rained down like a storm.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Explosions erupted across the battlefield.

Guards were thrown into the air.

Some were frozen instantly.

Others crashed through walls.

Within seconds…

The once perfectly organized formation had completely collapsed.

Meanwhile…

KING walked forward.

Calmly.

Silently.

A heavily armored captain roared as he swung a massive enchanted axe.

“I’ll crush you!” KING stepped slightly to the side.

The axe struck only empty air.

Before the captain could recover…

KING’s fist landed squarely on his chest.

BOOM!!

The enchanted armor shattered into countless fragments.

The captain was launched across the courtyard, smashing through three stone buildings before finally stopping.

He never stood again.

One after another…

The guards attacked.

One after another…

They fell.

No unnecessary movements.

No wasted strength.

Every strike ended a battle.

Watching from the main hall, Patriarch Ye felt cold sweat run down his forehead.

“Impossible…” “How can two children possess such strength?” Beside him, the First Elder spoke in a trembling voice.

“Patriarch…” “We should retreat.” Patriarch Ye immediately glared at him.

“Retreat?” “You expect the Ye Family to run from two children?” The First Elder lowered his head.

He no longer dared to speak.

Outside…

The battle had already become one-sided.

Within only a few minutes…

The hundred guards who had proudly protected the Ye Family for decades now lay defeated across the courtyard.

Some groaned in pain.

Others had already lost consciousness.

An eerie silence fell.

KING slowly looked toward the mansion.

“There are stronger ones inside.” Shadow nodded.

“I sensed them when we entered.” Patriarch Ye clenched his fists.

“So…” “You really came to destroy my family.” Shadow answered in his calm voice, “You tried to kill innocent people.” “You sent assassins after us.” “If we leave tonight…” “You’ll send more tomorrow.” KING continued, “We’re ending it here.” Patriarch Ye suddenly burst into laughter.

“Hahaha…” “So arrogant.” “Did you truly think…” “…the Ye Family became one of the strongest families in Azure Wind City because of these useless guards?” His laughter echoed throughout the mansion.

The next moment— Boom!

A powerful magical pressure erupted from deep within the estate.

Another followed.

Then another.

One…

Two…

Three…

Five overwhelming presences slowly emerged.

Five elderly figures stepped into the courtyard.

Each wore robes embroidered with the Ye Family crest.

Their eyes were filled with killing intent.

The surrounding air became noticeably heavier.

One old man looked at the destroyed courtyard before sighing.

“Patriarch…” “To wake us in the middle of the night…” “…I hope the enemy is worthy.” Patriarch Ye pointed directly at the twins.

“They are the ones.” The five elders turned their eyes toward KING and Shadow.

For a brief moment…

Silence.

Then one elder laughed.

“Hahaha!” “Children?” “You awakened us…” “…for children?” Another elder narrowed his eyes.

“…Wait.” His expression slowly changed.

“They defeated the entire guard?” The smile on the first elder’s face disappeared.

The five elders exchanged glances.

Their instincts, sharpened by decades of battle, warned them of the same thing.

These two…

…were not ordinary opponents.

Shadow quietly drew his sword.

The cold blade reflected the moonlight.

KING stepped beside his brother.

His crimson-red eyes remained fixed on the five elders.

Shadow’s deep black eyes never left them.

Without fear.

Without hesitation.

The eldest of the five slowly unsheathed his own sword.

“So…” “If fate has brought you here…” “Then let us see whether your talent is enough to survive against those who have lived for more than a century.” The night wind howled across the ruined courtyard.

Six swordsmen stood facing one another.

The true battle…

…was only beginning.
