22: CHAPTER 17: The Five Elders.
Chapter 8: The Five Elders The Ye Mansion had become a battlefield.
Broken walls.
Collapsed pavilions.
The courtyard was filled with unconscious guards.
Some lay buried beneath shattered stone pillars, while others trembled in fear, unable to stand after witnessing the overwhelming strength of the two young brothers.
Dust slowly settled across the ruined courtyard.
At its center…
KING and Shadow stood side by side.
KING’s crimson-red eyes were calm and emotionless.
Shadow’s black eyes quietly scanned the surroundings.
Neither of them spoke.
Suddenly— Five powerful auras erupted from the deepest part of the mansion.
BOOM!
The ground cracked.
The remaining guards immediately stepped back.
“They’re here…” “The Five Elders…” “Those monsters finally came out!” Five elderly men descended from the sky one after another.
Each wore a dark-blue robe embroidered with the Ye Family emblem.
Although old, their eyes were sharp like blades.
The eldest elder looked around the destroyed mansion.
His expression darkened.
“So…” “You are the ones who caused all of this.” KING replied calmly, “We merely returned what your family started.” The second elder snorted.
“Arrogant.” “You destroyed our guards and think you can leave alive?” Shadow answered, “We never planned on leaving before finishing our business.” The third elder narrowed his eyes.
“You are those twins…” “The ones who humiliated Young Master Ye Lin.” The fourth elder added coldly, “Then don’t regret coming here, later.” The fifth elder slowly unsheathed his sword.
“Enough talking.” “Kill them.” Without another word…
All five elders disappeared simultaneously.
Bang!
The courtyard exploded.
The first elder appeared above KING and slashed downward.
KING caught the blade with his bare hand.
The elder’s pupils shrank.
“What?!” Before he could react— KING drove his fist into the elder’s stomach.
BOOM!
The elder was blasted through three buildings before crashing into the far side of the mansion.
At the same time…
The remaining four elders surrounded Shadow.
Four swords descended from different directions.
Shadow calmly stepped forward.
His body moved like flowing water.
One slash missed.
Then another.
Then another.
The fourth sword barely grazed his sleeve.
Without even looking back…
Shadow elbowed the fourth elder in the chest.
Crack!
Several ribs shattered instantly.
The elder spat blood and flew backward.
The first elder climbed out from the rubble, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.
His face twisted with disbelief.
“Impossible…” “These are only two teenagers…” The second elder shouted, “Stop underestimating them!” The five elders gathered once again.
This time…
None of them attacked recklessly.
Their expressions had completely changed.
They finally understood.
The two youths before them…
Were monsters.
KING looked toward Shadow.
Shadow gave a slight nod.
Without saying another word…
The twins vanished.
The five elders instinctively raised their weapons.
Too late.
BOOM!
A deafening shockwave spread across the entire Ye Mansion as the real battle between the twins and the Five Elders finally began.
