I stared at the dress for a few seconds, as I had never worn this kind of dress before.

Not because the dress was bad, but because I wasn’t sure if it would look good on me.

As if sensing my hesitation, she said, “This would look very pretty on you.Full novel: Bound to My Bully — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Trust me.” After a few seconds of battle with myself, I finally gave up against her pleading eyes and took the dress from her hand before going to the bathroom to change.

I checked the dress last time before wearing.

I then looked at myself in the mirror.

The deep burgundy dress hugged my waist before flowing into a flared skirt that ended a few inches above my knees, while the delicate straps rested on my shoulders.

For a few seconds, I kept staring at my reflection, unable to recognize myself for a moment.

“I never knew I could look this pretty,” I whispered as a smile appeared on my face.

I then went out of the bathroom.

The second I came out, I could see the surprise on Chloe’s face.

She smiled proudly.

“I told you this would look very pretty on you.” “You are looking bewitching.” I gave her a smile.

She then went to the bathroom to change as well.

I waited for her.

A few minutes later, she came out.

She looked very pretty in her blue dress.

We then put on a little makeup before going to the party.

I was getting a little nervous.

I didn’t know why, but I was getting a bad feeling about this.

I hoped everything would go smoothly.

Soon, we reached the party.

I took a deep breath.

Then we went inside.

I scanned the place carefully.

The lights reflected on the water of the pool, making it shimmer under the night sky.

Music echoed through the area while groups of students danced together.

Some people were sitting near the pool with drinks in their hands, talking happily, while others were in the water, splashing each other playfully.

The atmosphere felt very joyful.

Everyone was enjoying themselves in their own way.

I followed Chloe quietly when my eyes fell on a familiar figure near the pool, making out with a girl.

It was Ryan.

I quickly looked away before he could see me.

We then went toward the drinks section, and Chloe ordered two drinks.

“I want water,” I said.

After finishing her drink, Chloe turned toward me.

“Let’s go to the pool,” she said.

I refused, saying, “I don’t want to go anywhere near the pool.” She looked at me strangely.

“Okay then.

You wait here for a few minutes.

I will come back after some time.” I nodded with a smile.

A few moments later, Ethan came toward me.

“You are looking very pretty,” he said after looking at me.

“This dress suits you.” I smiled at him.

“Let’s go and dance,” he suggested.

I was getting bored standing there, so after a little pause, I said yes.

We then went toward the dance floor and started dancing.

I couldn’t help but laugh at Ethan’s funny dance moves.

For a moment, I forgot about everything and simply enjoyed myself.

We were dancing happily when a girl approached Ethan.

He looked surprised for a moment before starting to dance again.

He then looked toward me.

I gave him a smile.

Only then did my phone start ringing.

It was probably my parents, I thought.

I went to the side to attend the call, but I couldn’t hear anything because of the loud music.

Third Person POV Aria Black was watching Sophia from afar.

After finding out the reason they had gotten suspended, she didn’t like Sophia at all.

More than dislike, it was hate.

She kept watching Sophia.

She didn’t like seeing her happy.

She wanted to embarrass her in front of everyone.

She was thinking of a way to do that when suddenly a smirk appeared on her face.

An idea came to her mind.

She then went toward Ryan because he was the only person she could rely on.

End of Third Person POV I was about to send a text when I felt a grip on my wrist.

I turned around only to find Ryan holding my wrist.

“What happened?” I asked in confusion.

But instead of answering me, he started pulling me toward the pool.

My breathing started becoming uneven.

I held my phone tightly in my hand.

“Stop, Ryan,” I said softly.

But he didn’t stop.

We were only a few inches away from the pool now.

I couldn’t hold back anymore.

I quickly pulled my hand out of his grip.

He turned toward me.

“What happened?” he asked with a smirk.

“It will be so much fun.” But before he could grab my hand again, I slapped him.

Without waiting for his reaction, I quickly ran out of there.
