“I…

I was the one who told her to do that,” Ryan said.

“And why did you do that?” Mr.Full novel: Bound to My Bully — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Cole asked in a serious tone.

“Because she was the reason I got suspended,” Ryan replied.

As he spoke, he dug his nails into his palm.

“Apologize to her,” Mr.

Cole said.

His voice was stern.

For the first time since entering the office, Ryan looked at me.

“I’m sorry,” he said.

Those words sounded unfamiliar coming from him.

Mr.

Cole then turned toward Rhea.

“And Miss Sinclair, I hope you won’t repeat this mistake.

Otherwise, you will have to face the consequences.” “Okay, Mr.

Cole,” she replied.

The entire time, her eyes remained fixed on the floor.

Mr.

Cole looked at both of them.

“You can leave now.” Ryan and Rhea nodded before leaving the office.

The moment the door closed, Mr.

Cole turned toward me.

“Are you okay?” he asked with concern.

“I am fine,” I said.

“If something like this ever happens again, you can tell me.

Don’t hesitate, okay?” “Okay, Mr.

Cole,” I replied.

“And Mom told me about you saving her from the car.

Thank you so much for that,” he said.

“There is nothing to thank me for,” I replied.

“She is really sweet, and she even saved me today.

I should be the one thanking her.” A small smile appeared on his face.

“You are a really sweet girl.” “Thank you, Mr.

Cole.” “You can go too,” he said.

I nodded and left.

As I came out of the office, I saw Chloe standing a little far away.

The moment she saw me, her eyes scanned me, checking if I was okay or not.

Then she left.

A small smile appeared on my face.

I knew she still cared about me.

I just hoped her anger would vanish soon and she would start talking to me again.

I missed her.

But as I was walking away, I heard someone talking on the phone.

The voice sounded familiar.

As I turned toward it, I saw Ryan standing nearby.

“Why did you tell someone to bully her?” he asked angrily.

So I was right.

He wasn’t behind this.

But then why did he take the blame?

That person must be very special to him.

With those thoughts in my mind, I headed toward my class.

As I entered the classroom, Ethan came toward me.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

His voice was full of concern.

“Yes, I’m completely fine,” I replied with a smile.

“I heard what happened,” he said.

“But how do you know Mrs.

Cole?

She seems to really like you.” “Yes, she is very sweet,” I said.

“Once, I was leaving the university when I saw that she was about to get hit by a car.” “So you saved her?” he asked.

“Yes,” I replied.

“Oh,” Ethan said.

We then went back to our seats.

Soon, the lecture started.

I was trying to focus, but one thought refused to leave my mind.

Who was he trying to protect?

And who could hate me enough to bully me besides him?

After the lecture ended, I was about to leave when my eyes fell on Ethan.

He was talking to someone.

As soon as he saw me, he came toward me with a huge smile.

“You seem to be very happy.

What’s the reason?” I asked with a smile.

“There is a Campus Pool Night for all freshers tonight.

It was delayed earlier, but now it’s finally happening.

That’s why I am so happy,” he said excitedly.

I remained silent.

I had never attended a party like this in my entire life.

I didn’t know what happened at parties like these.

Seeing me quiet, he asked, “Are you coming?” “I’ll pass, maybe,” I said.

“Why?

It’s going to be so much fun.

You can’t skip it, otherwise you’ll regret it,” he said.

“I don’t know if it would be good to attend,” I said in confusion.

“It will be amazing.

Trust me,” he said.

“Okay,” I replied.

But deep down, I was very confused about whether I should go or not.

I didn’t know anything about parties like this.

What if I didn’t fit in?

What if I ended up embarrassing myself?

The more I thought about it, the more nervous I became.
