“Ah, yes,” Aurelie said.

“I’m used to waking up at this hour.

Excuse me, but, who are you?Full novel: Ex’s Regret: Sold Me to the Billionaire Alpha — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

I’ve never heard your voice before.”

The man nodded.

“My name is Krit, a Gamma.

I was ordered by Grandpa Aston to be your personal bodyguard and chauffeur, Ms.

Aurelie.

You can order me anything, and you don’t need to be shy.”

Aurelie felt relieved.

She lowered her guard and relaxed again.

Aurelie was always surrounded by people who disliked her, even when she hadn’t done anything.

Eventually, situations like this had made Aurelie accustomed to being wary of anyone, especially those whose voices she had just heard, strangers and unknowns.

She could only rely on herself for her safety and peace.

Aurelie looked at Krit with a smile.

She liked this Gamma.

She could sense the honesty and sincerity behind his straightforward demeanor.

“Nice to meet you, Krit, and thank you for accepting this assignment from Grandpa Aston,” Aurelie said.

“Trust me, even though I’m blind, I’m quite independent and won’t cause you too much trouble.”

“Ah, I don’t worry about that, Ms.

Aurelie.

I witnessed your prowess yesterday, and I’m honestly very impressed,” Krit replied kindly.

“Thank you, Krit.

That’s a great compliment,” Aurelie said.

“Where’s Vincent, ah, I mean Mr.

Vincent, going this early in the morning?

He’s not in his room or anywhere else.”

“Alpha Vincent goes to the boxing gym early in the morning to train,” Krit replied.

“He usually finishes around lunchtime.”

“Oh, where’s the boxing gym?” Aurelie asked.

“Not far from here,” Krit replied.

“Can you take me to the boxing gym?

Maybe I can meet my husband there?” Aurelie asked sweetly.

“Of course you can,” Krit said readily.

“Just wait in the parking lot, I’ll get the car.”

Aurelie went to the Flying High boxing gym, but there was no one there, just a few janitors working.

Aurelie got up to leave, as Vincent wasn’t there.

However, as she was about to leave, someone called out to her, and she froze in the doorway.

It was Mathew’s voice.

Ugh, Aurelie cursed her bad luck.

Why did she have to run into her ex-fiancé here?

“Aurel!

I never expected to see you here,” Mathew said, approaching Aurelie.

“I just dreamed about you last night.”

Aurelie didn’t budge.

“Move aside.

Don’t get in my way.”

“Oh, Aurel, dear, don’t pretend.

You came here specifically to see me, right?

You knew my training schedule, so you followed me here.

You missed me too, didn’t you?”

Aurelie snorted.

“Don’t flatter yourself too much, Mathew.

You’ll be embarrassed because it’s not true at all.”

Shamelessly, Mathew took Aurelie’s hand and held it tightly.

He had been punished by his father after the incident at their house that day.

His father was furious and threatened to take away all his facilities if he couldn’t bring Aurelie back to the Damon family.

He even beat him and treated him as a worthless child who would destroy their family because of his impulsive actions towards Fiora.

“Don’t be like that, dear,” Mathew coaxed.

“I know you still love me, and I think—”

Aurelie slapped Mathew’s hand away fiercely.

“Mr.

Damon, you should be more respectful to me.

I’m Vincent Keagan’s wife, and you shouldn’t touch me casually!”

Mathew sneered, knowing Aurelie couldn’t see him, but he acted gently.

“I still want to be with you, Aurel.

You still have feelings for me, don’t deny it.”

Aurelie sighed in annoyance and walked away, but Mathew chased after her and stopped her at the exit.

“Honey, listen to me first,” Mathew said softly.

“I have a wonderful plan for both of us.

It will be very beneficial, and I’m sure you’ll agree.”

Aurelie didn’t budge.

“Look, honey, how about we continue our relationship secretly behind Vincent’s back.

You and him became husband and wife by accident, so I don’t think it’s a difficult thing to do.

I’ll just let myself be your mistress, while I stay with Fiora.

That would be mutually beneficial for both of us.

If Vincent finds out, it could be an excuse to divorce him, and I could also fulfill my Father’s wish to bring you to becoming the Damon family’s daughter-in-law.”

Aurelie cursed herself silently.

She wondered how she had ever liked Mathew so much, a handsome man whose brain turned out to be empty.

He was just full of strange pride in himself, making him a severe narcissist.

Seeing Aurelie’s silence, Mathew felt pleased.

He took her silence as a sign of agreement.

He was just too embarrassed to answer.

“What do you think, honey?

Do you agree with my proposal?

Come on, my brilliant mind has thought very hard to come up with such a cool plan.

“You’re interested and agree, right?” Mathew said, his voice is overconfident.

Aurelie sighed.

“I don’t want to talk here.

Show me the living room in the gym, and we can talk there,” Aurelie said.

She bit the inside of her cheek.

“We need a more private room.”

Hearing Aurelie’s words, Mathew happily thought she had softened towards him.

“She’s a weak woman,” said Bick, his inner wolf.

“A little coaxing and she’ll give in.”

“That’s because I still look great in her eyes,” Mathew said smugly.

“She loved me even before she went blind to help me.

I think she’ll always love me and obey me.”

Mathew stared at Aurelie and suddenly felt his heart beat faster.

Why did Aurelie look so beautiful?

Was she wearing makeup?

And she smelled so good, too.

Previously, Mathew had always thought of Aurelie as a stiff and boring girl.

Despite all her flaws and shortcomings, he simply didn’t find her attractive.

Now, after learning about Aurelie’s potential, Mathew suddenly changed his perspective.

He took Aurelie’s hand.

“Let’s talk in the gym’s living room.

I’m a Diamond member, and the living room is free for me to use.”

This time, Aurelie didn’t resist and followed Mathew, leading him away.

Mathew held her right hand, while the other searched for something in her bag.

Aurelie smiled faintly when she found what she was looking for.
