Lucian reached out and touched Mortis between the eyebrows with his finger.

A wave of green light from the Abundance rippled around the two of them.

There was no roar, only an indescribable aura of life that flowed into every part of her body like a warm current.Full novel: Honkai Star Rail: The Writer Who Rewrote — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Mortis felt her bones and blood whispering, as though a dried-up riverbed had suddenly been filled with clear spring water.

Every inch of her skin greedily absorbed this pure vitality.

Invisible stardust seeped into her bloodstream.

It was not brute force, but the quiet integration of the essence of Abundance.

Life quietly sprouted and expanded deep within her flesh, like a sleeping seed breaking through the soil, growing branches, and blooming in an instant!

An indescribable sense of fullness and boundless vitality swept through her soul.

It transcended the pain and transformed into a trembling ecstasy.

The light gradually faded, and fleeting images of branches and leaves appeared in her palm before disappearing.

Mortis stood there in a daze, the warmth of life’s rhythm lingering between her eyebrows, as if she had just been embraced by the world’s most vigorous heartbeat.

Deep within her soul, a fragment of the essence of life had been engraved.

“Is this the blessing of Abundance?” She had heard Lucian talk about Abundance and had gained some understanding of its blessings.

Eternal youth, immortality, extraordinary self-healing… It was a godlike power, yet she had obtained it so easily.

This made her feel somewhat unreal, as though everything were merely a dream before her death.

“Wow, Mom looks even prettier!” Tribios exclaimed.

Just as she said, after receiving the blessing of Abundance, Mortis looked more vibrant and beautiful than before.

“Tribios, I’ll give you the blessing when you grow up.” Lucian crouched down and gently patted Little Tribios’s head as he explained softly, “Once you receive the blessing, you’ll remain exactly as you are now forever.

You won’t grow taller or grow older.

So I’ll wait until you’re an adult before giving you this gift, okay?” Hearing that she wouldn’t grow taller or older, Tribios shook her head furiously like a red rattle.

“No, no!

I want to grow taller!

I have to grow up quickly!” Seeing this, Mortis and Lucian smiled knowingly at the same time.

From that day onward, Lucian officially entered Tribios’s childhood, and he also entered Mortis’s life.

Time passed day by day.

Mortis recalled the Saint faction that had been demoted and began the struggle to reclaim power.

The original high-ranking officials had already been slaughtered by Lucian, and a new group of officials and priests had taken their places, leaving their positions unstable.

With Lucian behind Mortis, carrying out ruthless measures when necessary, she quickly reclaimed all her authority.

The theocratic government of Yanisopolis gradually stabilized.

The High Priestess and Saint became the highest rulers.

The Divine Envoy was not part of the political system, so he remained independent, with a status higher than the Saint and second only to the Titans.

Lucian did not care about this.

After all, he had never intended to enter politics.

He simply stayed by Tribios’s side every day, accompanying her as she grew up.

Their family also moved from the underground warehouse to the grand palace next door, which became their residence.

Before they knew it, ten peaceful years had passed.

The morning light was dazzling, passing through the white marble colonnade and making Lucian and Mortis look exceptionally radiant.

Lucian’s fingertips lingered gently in Mortis’s thick hair.

The ends of her hair curled around his fingers, carrying the warm fragrance left over from the previous night, mixed with the scent of figs and the sea.

“Are you going to listen to the Titan’s prophecy today?” Lucian’s voice lowered, his lips almost touching her small ear.

“Mm.

I have a feeling something major is going to happen.

I need to ask Yanis.” Mortis leaned lazily against him, her eyelashes lowered, a faint ripple appearing at the corner of her lips that only he could understand.

A quiet sweetness filled the air, as if time itself had stopped in this small space.

Even after ten years, under the blessing of Abundance, Mortis still maintained the same appearance and figure she had back then.

Lucian had also personally confirmed that she truly was an untouched mother.

This gentle haven was wonderful, but Lucian had never forgotten his purpose.

Ten years ago, he had guessed that he needed to raise Tribios to adulthood in order to complete the script.

Yet even now, there still wasn’t the slightest sign of progress.

Knock, knock, knock.

Just then, the door was knocked on.

Before either of them could respond, a head had already poked inside.

“Big Brother Lucian!” That clear voice, like the song of a bird, had long since become incredibly familiar to them.

A figure wrapped in a snow-white Hima robe embroidered with golden threads walked in.

It was none other than Tribios, who had now grown into an adult.

After ten years of careful care, she had grown into an elegant and stunningly beautiful woman, just as beautiful as her mother.

“What is it, Tribios?” Lucian answered gently.

Tribios immediately linked her arm around Lucian’s, speaking in a slightly coquettish tone.

“I want to have a new outfit made, so I want you to come with me.” Lucian smiled helplessly as Tribios half-dragged and half-pulled him away from Mortis.

Mortis watched their departing figures, the smile at the corner of her lips growing slightly deeper.

Her fingers unconsciously played with a tender shoot of the Golden Tree hanging beside her.

“Heh, the child has grown up too…” At noon, the market of Yanisopolis was bustling with noise.

The air was filled with the mixed scents of dust, spices, freshly baked bread, and olive oil.

The sunlight was scorching, and the crowd surged like a colorful tide.

Tribios excitedly pulled Lucian through the crowd toward a stall piled with painted ceramic bottles.

She picked up a slender-necked, two-handled bottle depicting the Divine Envoy embracing the Saint and carefully examined its lines.

Her other hand naturally and intimately linked around Lucian’s arm, her head leaning slightly against his broad shoulder.

Both of them were exceptionally attractive, and their natural closeness formed an eye-catching scene.

“Sir, please buy a bouquet of flowers for your wife.” At that moment, a skinny little boy held out a wildflower toward Lucian.

The little boy clearly did not know the Divine Envoy, the Saint, or Tribios.

He had mistaken Tribios for Lucian’s wife.

“She isn’t…” Lucian was just about to explain their relationship.

But Tribios beside him had already taken the wildflower from the little boy’s hand.

She gave him a silver coin and casually said: “Thank you for the flower.” Lucian turned his head in astonishment, meeting Tribios’s sly, smiling eyes.

She suddenly rose onto her tiptoes.

Her warm breath brushed against his ear like a feather, and her voice carried the lightheartedness of a successful prank.

“Look, I’ve reached the age when children call me ‘Madam.'” She deliberately paused, her mischievous smile almost overflowing.

“If we went somewhere where nobody knew us, perhaps lots of people would even bless us.” Lucian was both amused and speechless.

It made him feel as though he had raised a child bride… Just as he was about to lightly tap Tribios on the forehead, a sigh came from the sky.

「**.」 That was the Titan’s voice.

It was extremely rare for a Titan to manifest directly before everyone.

It had already been ten years since the last time everyone heard a divine revelation.

Tribios closed her eyes and murmured: “It’s Kephale… the Titan of the Burdened World has fallen… I heard the revelation of creation…” (End of Chapter)[Thanks for Reading!]
