Favorability Points: +47 Current Favorability: -153 Congratulations Host!
You have been given a rare lottery draw chance to choose your gift package!
Choose my gift package?
What do you mean by that?
As I said before, this is a lottery draw and between the four boxes, you’ve been given a rare chance to pick one by yourself!!
Huh?
How is that a rare chance?
What if I pick something bad?
I’m really unlucky when it comes to lottery draws!!
Don’t worry, host.
Cheer up, I’m sure you’ll pick something good.
If not, then we’ll try again next time!
You’re awfully happy for a system who has never wished me well.
What are you hiding from me?
I’m not hiding anything from you, host!!
Even your voice is so high pitched, say the truth, MiuMiu!
You….you remembered my name?
Of course I did, should I forget something like that?
I….the main system has made sure that the loterrry draws only give the hosts normal random things.
So it’s rigged?
Eeh, something like that.
Why?
It wants you to buy those rare things from the International Interface and we’ll get our percentage profit too.
Ohhh, well let’s just pick anyone of them then..since it’s rigged.
Raising my head, u stare at the glittering boxes floating above me before deciding to go with the black one.
Congratulations host, you have obtained…..um, a stone?
Well, at least it’s obsidian.
An inky black stone appeared in my palms and my brows furrowed as I turned it over and over again to check exactly what it was.
MiuMiu, what is this?
It looks like a broken piece of stone.
Uhh, host.
I really don’t know Are you playing with me right now?
After all my suffering and this is what I get?
I mean, I get it that it’s to survive but you’re not really giving me anything to go with here.
What exactly am I supposed to do with a stone?
Do I add it to my meal and it will become a magical salt?
Or should I throw it up into the sky and it would magically bec— Okay, okay.
Host, let me scan it again with another interface…maybe I missed something.
Okay.
Initiating Command Scanning Scanning Scanning Scanning Scanning Scanning Scanning Stop, stop, stop!
Do you want to break my ear drums with that ‘scanning’ of yours?
Scanning Congratulations Host!
You have successfully obtained a spiritual space.
This obsidian stone has been scanned successfully and we have deduced that it came from the cultivation world.
We do not know it’s abilities yet but now that it’s in your possession, it’s rightfully yours.
Cultivation world?
Spiritual space?
Wasn’t this much better than the storage space the beast world has?
I surged to my feet, a huge grin breaking out on my face and did a modern happy dance but stopped midway wen I caught sight of Aileen staring at me with wide eyes.
“Eeh, I was just…was just stretching.” I quickly said, turning around and stretching my arms while rubbing my fingers all over the obsidian stone with happiness sweelong deep within my heart.
Doesn’t this mean that I can survive the winter if I get enough food to store?
I deflated once again.
With winter been not more than a month away and some of my targets still nowhere to be found, how do I find enough food to survive winter?!
Don’t worry host, go for it!
Tcch, that’s all you’re good for.
“Aileen, it’s getting late and I need to go bath by the riverside soon.
You should return to your cave and rest too.” I smiled as I said that, taking her bowl and refilling it with food before placing it back into her hands.
“Here, eat this later before you sleep okay?” I said and she nodded and before I could blink, she dropped to her knees in front of me.
“Thank you, thank you so much!!!” She appreciated, trying to kowtow to me and I quickly rushed to lift her up from the ground.
“Aileen, what are you doing?” I asked in surprise and she raised her head up to stare at me with watery eyes.
Why was she crying all of a sudden?
Did something get into her eyes?
Did I mistakenly hit her when I was dancing earlier?
“Thank you so much.
I…no one has ever done what you did for me today.” She explained and realization dawned on me and I scratched the back of my head awkwardly.
Well, that’s partially my fault.
Glad you’re finally accepting that.
Shut up!
“It’s alright, there’s no need for this.
Come back again when you have time!” I added and she nodded but then she seemed to remember something and suddenly gripped my hands in hers.
“Ther….there was this female, the one who came around earlier today.” She began and my brows furrowed in thought.
The only female that had visited my cave was born other than my female protagonist.
What did this female want to tell me?
Don’t know, let’s hear her out first.
“Luna?” I asked and she nodded frantically.
“She’s strange female.
She came into your cave and shattered everywhere, then put them back together when she didn’t find what she was looking for.” she informed and a bell went off in my head.
“What?
Why would Luna do such a thing?” “I don’t know, but be careful around her.” Aileen warned and I nodded, a small smile finally returning to my lips as I saw her off.
Back inside my cave, I stared at the open archway in front of my cave for a long moment and decided that I really needed a door.
But what exactly was Luna looking for in my cave?
I never wrote her in this format.
She’s a gentle, sweet and loving female protagonist….a genuine one at that.
What had prompted her to do all these?
I rubbed at my arms as a sudden chill rushed through me before I shook my head and picked up a clean set of beast skin and the one I designed with some fur while making it before I left my cave and began to head over to the riverside to wash up.
When I got there, I found no one around after carefully looking around and that was when I felt comfortable enough to take off my clothes and quickly rushed into the water to clean up.
The soapwort was so magical, it foamed as I used it and soon, I was humming contentedly as I poured water all over my skin.
I felt so clean by the time I stepped out of the river, cleaner than the first time I washed.
Quickly dressing up, I turned to leave but stopped as the sound of splashing reached my ears and my brows furrowed in question as I slowly tiptoed over to the sound and stopped at the sound of an annoyed voice.
“Fuck, this is bleeding too much!
And after that battle, I can’t even open my space to bring out a beast core to heal myself easily!” The voice continued ranting off, obviously angry at some battle and my brows shifted.
Well, it’s none of my business.
I shouldn’t get involved in things that didn’t concern me.
I turned around to leave but of course, typical story…I mistakenly stomped hard on a twig and it snapped beneath my weight.
“Who’s there?” a sharp whiz rushed past my ears as I turned and something sliced through my cheeks and went whizzing past my head and slamming hard into a tree.
A cough filled the air as I raised my hand up to touch my face and touched something wet and warm, I brought it to my face and saw red…blood.
“You little bastard!!!!!!
How dare you use this on me?” I stomped over to the tree and pulled out the dagger that was exquisitely carved and began to walk over to the place the sound was coming from.
As soon as I cleared the next rows of trees, I stopped dead in my tracks at the person seated by the riverside…tail splashing slowly in the water.
A male merfolk.
No— A ridiculously gorgeous one.
Long silver-white hair clung damply to his skin, flowing past his waist like moonlight spilling over water.
Some strands stuck to his pale shoulders and chest, stained faintly with blood that trickled down from the deep wounds scattered across his body.
His face was enough to make anyone lose their senses.
Sharp delicate features, long lashes dripping with water, and icy blue eyes that looked almost unreal beneath the night sky.
They were cold eyes, distant and weary, yet painfully beautiful.
And then there was his tail.
Massive.
A shimmering deep blue that faded into silver near the fins, the scales reflecting beneath the moonlight like crushed gemstones beneath water.
But several scales had been ripped away violently, exposing bloody flesh beneath.
The river around him was stained red.
Yet somehow… Even wounded and covered in blood, he looked less like an injured beastman and more like some dangerous creature dragged straight out of a fantasy.
Shaking my head, I snapped out of my delirious haze before fixing him with a glare.
“I don’t care how deliciously gorgeous you are, but you’re compensating me for this or I swear to the beast god, I will do what the other male who lost to you couldn’t do!” I exclaimed and he blinked, his blue eyes staring blankly at me.
“What are you looking at?
See how I’m bleeding over here because you decided to make a joke and throw this ridiculously sharp thing at me!” I gestured to m face and his eyes followed my movements.
When they caught sight of my bleeding cheeks, his eyes widened in shock and he opened his mouth to speak.
“Don’t even try singing your little song with me….three silver cores as compensation.” I raised my hand to touch stop him and his eyes narrowed.
“Three silver cores?” he asked, his voice deep and sweet but filled with disbelief and I raised one eyebrow T him.
“Okay, too much?
Two silver cores is enough, I’m not reducing it again.” I conceded and he laughed.
“I’ll give you that if you treat me,” he negotiated and I laughed, the sound full of humor.
“Why don’t you go kidnap a tribe healer!
Those silver cores are for my face!
Who’s going to help you?
Not me!
Who knows if your enemy might come back and kill me alongside y—” “Twenty silver cores!” “Deal!” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Velithra Creation is hard, cheer me up!
