The Bipolar Overbearing CEO (16)

Song Chubai blinked. With his hands pressed against Lu Chenhan’s chest, his expression remained dazed and adorable.

He had no intention of escaping; he had not completed his mission yet, so how could he possibly run away?Full novel: Quick Transmigration: The Yandere CEO is Both Pampering and Seductive — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Humans were truly strange.

“I am not trying to run away,” Song Chubai said very honestly.

As for the first part of what Lu Chenhan said, Song Chubai completely ignored it.

Seeing Song Chubai look so obedient, Lu Chenhan nodded in satisfaction.

However, at the same time, his lips moved closer, catching Song Chubai off guard as they touched his earlobe.

Song Chubai’s body shivered uncontrollably. A sensation of numbness, unlike anything he had ever felt before, rapidly spread through his limbs and bones, causing him to bite his lip slightly.

“Mr. Lu?” he called out, his voice unintentionally laced with an indescribable coyness.

Beyond this coyness, there was a hint of allure, a seductive posture that seemed to emerge from his very bones, which made Lu Chenhan’s heart burn even hotter.

“I am here,” he replied, his voice low and hoarse as his lips continued to kiss his earlobe without restraint.

Although there was no further action, it still left Song Chubai feeling quite at a loss.

He used his hands, which were still pressed against Lu Chenhan’s chest, to give a light push.

“Mr. Lu, it is getting late. You should rest.”

Lu Chenhan raised an eyebrow, noncommittal. “Did you not just wake up?”

Song Chubai’s face turned bright red. He turned his head away and whispered, “I meant that you should go to sleep.”

“I am not sleepy yet,” Lu Chenhan said lazily. “I will sleep when I naturally feel tired.”

“Then when will you be sleepy?” Song Chubai asked again, his voice soft and obedient. This made Lu Chenhan’s heart soften, and he released him for the time being.

He sat cross-legged on the bed and asked lazily, “Are you still sleepy?”

Song Chubai shook his head honestly. “Not for now.”

“That is perfect. Keep me company and play a game.”

Song Chubai agreed. He picked up his phone from the side and played the intense and exciting Glory with Lu Chenhan. Although he was not very good at playing, Lu Chenhan was an expert in this regard. He was carried by him throughout the whole process, and the feeling was incredibly satisfying.

The night gradually grew deeper, and the two were still playing the game.

At the doorway, Grandma Lu tried her best to listen to the sounds inside the room, but the soundproofing was simply too good, so she could not hear anything at all.

Grandma Lu straightened up, feeling somewhat regretful.

Her own grandson was such a savage; she had no idea how he would treat little Chu.

It seemed she needed to give the precious book she had treasured for many years to her grandson.

However, there was no rush. It would be better to give it to him tomorrow morning.

Grandma Lu thought to herself as she left the doorway. Inside the bedroom, Lu Chenhan vaguely heard footsteps. He raised an eyebrow and said to Song Chubai, “Grandma has left.”

Song Chubai’s earlobes were still a bit red. He obediently replied with an “Mn.”

After a pause, he could not help but ask, “Why did Grandma Lu not come in?”

Judging by what Lu Chenhan meant, Grandma Lu had been standing at the door for a while but had chosen not to enter, which was truly strange.

Hearing this, Lu Chenhan raised an eyebrow with interest. “Why would she come in? To watch us play games?”

His gaze fell on Song Chubai’s collarbone, which was faintly visible, and a dark glint flashed in his eyes. “She probably thought we were playing a different kind of game.”

A different kind of game that he had heard was wonderful but which he had never tried before.

Perhaps, given the chance, he could play that with him.

Lu Chenhan suppressed the thoughts in his heart, raised his hand, and ruffled Song Chubai’s hair. The furry sensation wrapped around his large hand, making him squint his eyes in pleasure.

“It is getting late,” he said in a low, hoarse voice. “Time to sleep.”

Song Chubai glanced at the time. Without realizing it, it was already one o’clock.

He had to get to sleep; he had to go to work tomorrow.

Song Chubai pulled the blanket, lay down on the bed instantly, and said dryly, “Good night.”

He then closed his eyes, as if he were already asleep.

Lu Chenhan, who was left somewhat bewildered by Song Chubai’s series of natural and coherent reactions, could not help but laugh softly.

How cute. He thought to himself, put down his phone, and laid down as well. He wrapped his arms around Song Chubai’s waist from behind and leaned into his ear, saying in a low, husky voice, “Good night.”

The next morning, after breakfast, Grandma Lu mysteriously pulled Lu Chenhan aside and handed him a book wrapped in kraft paper.

“Study it well when you go back,” Grandma Lu said, surprisingly serious, her hand gripping Lu Chenhan’s tightly.

This was a good book she had treasured for many years!

Lu Chenhan agreed, but he did not take it too seriously. He took the book and did not even bother to open it to take a look.

After getting into the car, he casually placed the book in the storage compartment in front of the passenger seat.

Ever since that day at the Lu family’s old estate, Song Chubai noticed that Lu Chenhan’s attitude toward him seemed to have improved; of course, it had also become a bit strange.

He always looked at him with a bizarre expression, which made him suspect every time that there was something strange on his face.

Apart from this, another thing that troubled Song Chubai was Lu Chenhan’s condition.

For the past few days, he had been using his work time to learn about bipolar disorder. According to the existing data, he could only find ways to alleviate it.

For instance, taking medication, or having the patient undergo psychological therapy.

Needless to say about the medication, he had seen that Lu Chenhan never took any, and with his proud personality, he was afraid he would not be willing to take it either.

In that case, it could only be treated through psychological counseling, but he did not know how to do that at all.

He could provide psychological guidance to a depressed sow, but when it came to providing psychological treatment for humans, he was completely in the dark and knew nothing.

With both paths proving futile, the mission to save his target seemed to have reached a standstill.

Song Chubai let out a small sigh and could not help but glance at Lu Chenhan. With this glance, he crashed unexpectedly into his deep, dark eyes.

He could not help but be startled.

Lu Chenhan curved his lips. “Peeking at me again, huh?”

Song Chubai tilted his head and denied it: “No.”

“No?” Lu Chenhan’s lips curled up. “Then what are you doing right now? Huh? Is that not peeking at me?”

He crossed his arms, his sharp gaze falling on Song Chubai’s face, as if he wanted to see right through him.

Song Chubai slowly lowered his head. His long, slender eyelashes trembled slightly, and a faint blush seemed to stain his earlobes.

Then, a tiny, low sound came from him in the office.

“Mn.”

After a silence of two seconds, he seemed to have realized something and raised his head to look at Lu Chenhan.

“But I only peeked once.”

It really was just a glance.

Lu Chenhan laughed softly, leaned over, and moved close to Song Chubai’s face, his voice low and sexy.

“It is fine. I allow you to peek a few more times.”
