Jayjay’s POV 🖤💜 I had come upstairs feeling happier than I had in a very long time.
I had talked with Pappa for so long.
We laughed.
We talked about random things.
For once, my heart didn’t feel heavy.
I started packing my clothes, already imagining myself leaving this mansion with Percy.
Finally…
I was going to be free.
🥺🕊️ Suddenly— BZZZT…
BZZZT…
Percy’s phone buzzed.
I picked it up.
It was Mr.
Willson.
I answered the call.
Mr.
Willson told me he wanted to speak with Percy.
Jayjay: “Okay, I’ll inform him .” I ended the call and started walking downstairs.
But when I reached the third or fourth step…
I stopped.
I heard Aris.
Aris: “If Jay was living with Jeena…” He looked toward Jeena.
“…then how did she not know about Jay meeting Percy?” The room immediately went silent.
I slowly turned toward Jeena.
She froze.
Percy stared directly at her.
Percy: “That’s a good question.” He took another step toward her.
Percy: “Don’t you think?” Jeena looked away.
Percy: “Why don’t you answer it?” Jeena’s face became pale.
Angelo immediately noticed.
Angelo: “Tita…” His voice was filled with confusion.
“What did you do?” Jeena’s eyes widened.
Angelo: “What did you hide from us?” She remained silent.
Angelo’s confusion slowly turned into anger.
Angelo: “Tita, I’m asking you.” “WHAT DID YOU DO?!” I couldn’t stay upstairs anymore.
I slowly walked down the staircase.
My arms were folded.
Jayjay: “What happened, Mrs.
Jeena?” Everyone turned toward me.
I tilted my head.
Jayjay: “Are you out of your voice?” Jeena: “I…
I…” I laughed bitterly.
Jayjay: “I-I WHAT JEENA ?” My voice echoed through the room.
Jayjay: “When you didn’t hesitate to do those things…” I stepped down another stair.
Jayjay: “…why are you hesitating now that it’s time to tell everyone?” Jeena’s face became completely horrified.
Gemma covered her mouth.
Gemma: “Jay…” Angelo stared at Jeena.
Angelo: “Tita, answer her.” Aris looked between me and Jeena.
Aris: “What is she talking about?” Keifer’s eyebrows furrowed.
Keifer: “What the hell is going on?” Yuri remained unusually quiet.
Ci-N looked nervous.
Ci-N: “Something is seriously wrong here.” Eman swallowed hard.
Eman: “I think we’re about to hear something none of us are ready for.” Kit looked at Jeena suspiciously.
Kit: “What did you do to Jay?” Jeena didn’t answer.
I finally reached the bottom of the stairs.
I looked directly at her.
Jayjay: “Still nothing?” percy: “baby why did u came downstair?
” jay : “I also want to enjoy this as you know i have waited too long for this” jay : “and mr willson wants to talk with you” i handed him his phone.
Jeena suddenly turned around and tried to run.
My eyes widened.
Jayjay: “Oh, no you don’t.” I immediately ran after her.
Within seconds, I caught her.
I grabbed her before she could reach the door.
Everyone stared at me in shock.
😳 Felix: “HOW DID SHE GET THERE SO FAST?!” Rory: “She was literally near the stairs a second ago!” David: “I didn’t even see her move!” Mayo: “Okay…
that was terrifying.” Denzel: “Nobody is escaping this conversation.” Blaster looked at Jeena.
Blaster: “You really tried to run?” Edrix shook his head.
Edrix: “That says enough.” Eren: “She’s clearly hiding something.” I looked at Jeena.
Jayjay: “Trying to run again, huh?” She stared at me in fear.
Jayjay: “Do you really think I’ll never remember everything?” Her face became even paler.
Jayjay: “You should know better.” I tightened my jaw.
Jayjay: “Memories don’t stay buried forever.” Meanwhile…
Percy casually walked toward the sofa.
He sat down.
Crossed one leg over the other.
And somehow…
He had a huge bowl of popcorn in his hands.
🍿 Nobody knew where it had come from.
Felix stared at him.
Felix: “Where did you even get popcorn?!” Percy ignored him.
Ci-N looked at the bowl.
Ci-N: “Don’t ask.” Felix: “Why?” Ci-N: “Because I don’t think I want to know.” Percy smiled.
Percy: “Now she’s back.” He clapped his hands.
Percy: “Start the show.” Kit stared at him.
Kit: “You’re actually enjoying this?” Percy: “A little.” I looked at Percy.
Jayjay: “Ready for the show?” Percy suddenly raised his finger.
Percy: “Oh, no.
Wait.” Jayjay: “What now, Perse?” Percy looked toward Felix and Ci-N.
Percy: “Felix.
Ci-N.” Both looked at him.
Felix & Ci-N: “What?” Percy: “Start recording.” Felix: “WHAT?!” Ci-N: “Why are we recording?!” Percy pointed toward them.
Percy: “Just record.” They looked at each other.
Felix: “This is insane.” Ci-N: “Very.” But eventually, both started recording.
Keifer frowned.
Keifer: “Why are you recording this?” Percy: “Because some truths shouldn’t disappear again.” That sentence silenced him.
I turned toward Jeena.
My anger returned.
Jayjay: “Let’s remember everything.” SLAP!
The sound echoed through the mansion.
Everyone froze.
Gemma immediately covered her mouth.
Gemma: “Oh my God…” Angelo’s eyes widened.
Angelo: “Jay…” Aris looked completely shocked.
Aris: “What are you doing?” I looked at Jeena.
Jayjay: “This is for every time I came to you when I was hurt…” My voice trembled.
“…and you chose not to listen.” SLAP!
Jeena stumbled slightly.
Keifer’s expression changed.
Keifer: “She actually did that to you?” I didn’t answer.
SLAP!
Jayjay: “This is for locking me away for four or five days every week…” I swallowed hard.
“…without proper food or water.” Eman looked horrified.
Eman: “Four or five days?” Kit’s eyes filled with disbelief.
Kit: “How could someone do that to a child?” Calix shook his head.
Calix: “That’s not punishment.” Blaster: “That’s cruelty.” SLAP!
Jayjay: “This is for ignoring me when I was sick.” My eyes filled with tears.
“…even when I called you.” Gemma started crying.
Gemma: “Jay…” She looked at Jeena.
Gemma: “How could you?” Jeena lowered her head.
SLAP!
Jayjay: “This is for letting your so-called husband beat me.” Angelo’s face turned pale.
Angelo: “He…
beat you?” Aris looked down.
His fists clenched.
Aris: “I didn’t know.” Keifer looked at him.
Keifer: “None of us knew.” SLAP!
Jayjay: “This is for smiling at me while he was hurting me.” Silence.
Yuri’s expression finally changed.
He looked genuinely shaken.
Yuri: “You…
watched?” Jeena didn’t answer.
SLAP!
Jayjay: “This is for the cigarette burns.” Gemma broke down crying.
Gemma: “Oh, Jay…” Eren looked away, unable to watch.
Eren: “This is horrible.” Mayo wiped his eyes.
Mayo: “How did she survive all of this?” SLAP!
Jayjay: “This is for beating me with an iron rod.” Denzel’s eyes widened.
Denzel: “An iron rod?” Josh clenched his fists.
Josh: “That’s not abuse anymore.” David’s voice was low.
David: “That’s torture.” SLAP!
Jayjay: “This is for sending me to work at the neighbors’ houses because you wanted money.” Rory looked disgusted.
Rory: “She used Jay for money?” Felix shook his head.
Felix: “I can’t believe this.” SLAP!
Jayjay: “And this…” My voice cracked.
“…is for pouring hot oil on my back.” Ci-N immediately lowered his phone slightly.
Ci-N: “Jay…” He looked like he was struggling to keep himself composed.
SLAP!
I stared directly into Jeena’s eyes.
My tears were falling now.
Jayjay: “And this is for allowing your husband and husband’s friend to hurt me in the worst way imaginable .” The entire room froze.
Nobody asked what I meant.
They understood.
Angelo’s face lost all its color.
Angelo: “No…” Gemma covered her mouth and started crying harder.
Aris looked horrified.
Aris: “Jay…” Keifer couldn’t even look at me.
Keifer: “I…” He stopped.
Yuri lowered his head.
Eman looked away.
Kit’s eyes filled with tears.
Calix clenched his fists.
Blaster whispered— Blaster: “She was just a child…” Edrix shook his head.
Edrix: “How could anyone allow that?” Eren wiped his eyes.
Mayo looked completely devastated.
Josh stared at Jeena with anger.
Denzel’s jaw tightened.
Felix lowered his phone.
Rory’s eyes were red.
David quietly whispered— David: “I’m sorry, Jay.” But I didn’t hear them.
I couldn’t.
I was drowning in memories.
Suddenly— Two strong arms wrapped around my waist.
I immediately recognized them.
Percy.
Jayjay: “Perse, let me go!” I struggled against his arms.
Jayjay: “I’m going to kill her today!” Percy held me tightly.
Percy: “Relax, baby…” His voice was gentle.
Percy: “It’s not the time yet.” I tried to break free.
But he didn’t let me.
Then suddenly…
He looked at my face.
His expression changed.
Percy: “You remember…” My eyes filled with tears.
I nodded.
And the moment I saw the pain in his eyes…
I broke.
I turned around and hugged him tightly.
Jayjay: “I’m sorry, Perse…” I cried against his chest.
“I really didn’t mean to.” “I wasn’t conscious.” “I’m sorry.” Percy wrapped his arms around me.
Tears were falling from his eyes too.
Percy: “It was never your fault, baby.” He gently stroked my hair.
Percy: “Don’t cry.” “Please.” “You survived.” “That’s what matters.” Everyone watched us silently.
tita cried openly.
Aris looked devastated.
Keifer wiped his eyes.
Even Angelo looked down, unable to face me.
After a few moments, Percy slowly broke the hug.
He turned toward Jeena.
The warmth that had been there moments ago was completely gone.
His expression turned cold.
Dangerously cold.
🥶 Percy: “It was because of you.” He pointed directly at Jeena.
Percy: “Everything she suffered…” “Every scar…” “Every tear…” “Every night she spent crying…” His voice trembled with anger.
Percy: “It was because of you.” Jeena took a nervous step backward.
Jeena: “Percy…” He didn’t respond.
Instead, his hand slowly moved toward his back pocket.
I realized what he was doing, i stayed clam.
He pulled out his GUN The sound echoed through the room.
Everyone froze.
Keifer: “PERCY!” Angelo immediately stepped forward.
Angelo: “Put that down!” Aris looked terrified.
Aris: “Percy, don’t!” Gemma covered her mouth.
Gemma: “Oh God…” Felix’s eyes widened.
Felix: “He’s actually serious…” Ci-N immediately lowered his phone.
Ci-N: “This is going too far.” Eman grabbed Kit’s arm.
Eman: “Stop him!” Kit: “Percy, please!” Calix looked at him nervously.
Calix: “Don’t do something you’ll regret.” percy: “I’ll never regret this” Blaster clenched his fists.
Blaster: “Put the gun away.” Edrix, Eren, Mayo, Josh, Denzel, Rory, and David all stood completely frozen.
i raised my hand jay: “don’t you dare to step closer he knows what he is doing don’t interfere” i shouted while looking at everyone one by one Nobody dared move closer.
Percy raised the gun toward Jeena.
His voice was frighteningly calm.
Percy: “I’m giving you two days.” Jeena’s face went pale.
Percy: “Hide wherever you want.” “Leave this city.” “Disappear.” “Do whatever you want.” He narrowed his eyes.
Percy: “But after two days…” Before he could finish— I stepped forward.
Jayjay: “Enough.” Percy looked at me Jayjay: “And after those two days, wherever I find you…” I looked directly at Jeena.
My voice was cold.
Jayjay: “…you will never get another chance utter single word i’ll kill you on the spot” Jeena stared at me in fear.
I pointed toward the mansion doors.
Jayjay: “Now…” My voice echoed through the room.
Jayjay: “GET OUT!” Jeena immediately turned around.
She ran.
The doors slammed shut behind her.
Silence.
Complete silence.
Everyone was still staring at Percy.
I turned toward him.
I pointed at the gun again.
Jayjay: “Put that back.” Percy blinked.
Percy: “Baby…” Jayjay: “How many times do I have to tell you?” I crossed my arms.
Jayjay: “Don’t use that in a public place.” Percy looked at the gun.
Then at me.
His anger slowly disappeared.
Percy: “Sorry.” He lowered his hand.
Percy: “I was just angry.” I sighed.
Jayjay: “I know.” He finally put the gun away.
Angelo exhaled heavily.
Angelo: “You two are unbelievable…” Felix whispered to Ci-N— Felix: “I thought someone was actually going to die.” Ci-N nodded.
Ci-N: “Same.” Aris looked toward the door Jeena had disappeared through.
Then he looked at me.
His eyes were filled with tears.
Aris: “Jay…” I didn’t answer.
Percy stepped closer to me.
His expression softened again.
He quietly looked at me.
And despite everything that had happened…
We both smiled faintly.
At the same time, and we said— “Finally over.” Percy: “We can’t leave right now.” Jayjay: “WHAT?!” He pointed toward the windows.
Rain was pouring heavily outside.
Thunder shook the mansion.
Percy: “It’s raining heavily.” I looked outside.
Jayjay: “Oh…” 😐 Felix looked out the window.
Felix: “That’s not rain.” Ci-N: “That’s a whole storm.” Mayo: “We’re definitely not driving in that.” Angelo nodded.
Angelo: “Everyone will stay here tonight.” Gemma immediately came toward me.
Gemma: “Jay…” She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
“I don’t know how to apologize enough.” I listened.
But I didn’t say anything.
Then one by one, everyone started speaking.
Eman: “I’m sorry, Jay.” Kit: “You never deserved any of this.” Calix: “We should have noticed.” Blaster: “We should have protected you.” Edrix: “I’m sorry.” Eren: “You didn’t deserve to go through that alone.” Mayo: “I’m really sorry.” Josh: “I wish someone had helped you sooner.” Denzel: “You don’t have to forgive us.” Felix: “Just know that we’re sorry.” Rory: “I hope you can heal.” David: “You deserve peace now.” Aris stood silently for a while.
Then his voice broke.
Aris: “I’m sorry, Jay.” I looked at him.
He wiped his tears.
Aris: “I should have listened to you.” Keifer remained silent.
He didn’t say anything.
He simply looked at the floor.
I listened to everyone.
But I didn’t respond.
I couldn’t.
Their sympathy couldn’t erase what had happened.
Their apologies couldn’t give me back the years I had lost.
So…
I ignored them.
Percy suddenly disappeared into the kitchen.
A few moments later, he came back with a bowl filled with ice.
He walked straight toward me.
Percy: “Your cheek is still red.” Jayjay: “I’m fine.” Percy gave me that look.
Percy: “Sit.” Jayjay: “Perse…” Percy: “Sit.” I sighed and sat down.
He gently pressed the ice against my cheek.
Jayjay: “Cold!” Percy smiled.
Percy: “Good.” Jayjay: “How is that good?” Percy: “Because your cheek needs it.” I rolled my eyes.
Jayjay: “You’re too protective.” He didn’t answer.
He just smiled.
Then Tita Gemma came over.
Gemma: “Let me do it.” Percy handed her the ice.
But he didn’t leave my side.
He stayed right beside me.
Watching carefully.
I laughed softly.
Jayjay: “You’re seriously too protective.” Percy just smiled.
For some reason…
That tiny smile made my heart feel warm.
🥺💙 Outside, the rain continued pouring.
The roads were already becoming difficult to see through the windows.
Angelo told the maids to prepare the guest rooms.
Thankfully, the mansion was huge.
There were more than enough rooms for everyone to stay comfortably.
After a long discussion, everyone finally agreed to stay overnight because the weather was too dangerous to travel.
Percy came toward me.
Percy: “Now go and rest.” Jayjay: “I’m not tired.” He raised an eyebrow.
Percy: “Jay.” I sighed.
Jayjay: “Okay…” Percy: “And stop overthinking.” Jayjay: “I’ll try.” Percy: “No.” He gently tapped my forehead.
Percy: “Do it.” I laughed.
Jayjay: “Okay, boss.” I finally went upstairs.
I changed into comfortable clothes and climbed into bed.
But the moment my head touched the pillow…
My mind started working again.
The memories.
Jeena.
Aris.
Keifer.
The accident.
Percy.
Pappa.
The guardianship papers.
My freedom.
Everything came rushing back.
I turned to one side.
Then the other.
I pulled the blanket closer.
Jayjay: “Stop thinking…” I whispered to myself.
But my brain refused to listen.
After what felt like hours of overthinking…
My exhaustion finally won.
My eyes slowly closed.
And eventually…
I fell asleep.
For the first time…
I fell asleep knowing that tomorrow would be different.
