Yin Han Sou leaned close to Yun Hui, remaining silent the entire way, her gaze fixed intently ahead.

To be precise… she was watching Yun Hui in the rearview mirror.

After simply drying her hair, Yun Hui placed the towel on the seat. She was afraid of getting the car seat wet, which would embarrass Senior Yin, since it was her who had called the car.Full novel: Shipping! My Roommate Isn’t Simple — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The car was unusually quiet, the noisy rain outside turning into a gentle accompaniment inside, dancing along with the speed of the vehicle.

Seeing Yin Han Sou motionless, Yun Hui’s curious eyes stole a few glances. Noticing that the senior didn’t seem to mind, she boldly let her gaze linger on her.

All these little actions were captured by Yin Han Sou.

She smiled inwardly, a hint of cunning flashing in her eyes.

Yun Hui… now you can’t escape.

…

Click.

The door opened, and Yin Han Sou led Yun Hui into her home.

As soon as Yun Hui stepped inside, she caught the unique scent that belonged to Senior Yin—a faint, refreshing fragrance, not overly strong.

It smelled so good.

“Yun Hui, come in.”

Yin Han Sou walked into the master bedroom.

The room was predominantly white, giving it a clean and bright feel. A soft white carpet lay on the gray marble floor, making each step feel like walking on clouds.

In the center was a soft round bed, with a few of her nightgowns scattered on it.

Outside the window, the world was shrouded in a light mist, and the occasional sound of raindrops tapping against the glass broke the silence. On the windowsill, a pot of blooming lilies seemed to radiate a gentle glow in the soft light of this world.

“I notice you like to daydream a lot,” Yin Han Sou said softly, reaching out to stroke Yun Hui’s damp hair.

Yun Hui’s face flushed even redder. “I… I like looking at still objects. I can… stare at them for a long time alone.”

Yin Han Sou took Yun Hui’s hand and opened the wardrobe.

Inside, clothes of various styles were neatly arranged.

“Pick a set of clothes you like.”

Yun Hui turned around. “For you? Or…?”

Yin Han Sou frowned.

So stubborn.

She pressed Yun Hui against the wardrobe and whispered gently into her left ear, “You need to change after your shower, don’t you? Or… do you not need to?”

Yun Hui’s gaze fell on Yin Han Sou’s fair neck, which trembled slightly with every word she spoke, captivating Yun Hui.

“I… I understand.”

Yun Hui carefully rummaged through the clothes and finally chose a simple white hoodie.

Yin Han Sou smiled at her and walked into the bathroom to turn on the heater. “Finish up soon.”

“Why… why are you so nice to me?”

Yun Hui pursed her lips.

How could I be nice to you for no reason? Think carefully about why I brought you home~

Yin Han Sou’s gaze swept gently over Yun Hui, stirring ripples in the other’s heart. “Because I’m your big sister~”

She liked this little one.

Transparent at a glance, captivating, haunting her thoughts, utterly enchanting.

Yun Hui hurriedly stood up and rushed into the bathroom—locking the door behind her.

I can’t look at Senior Yin anymore, or I won’t be able to control myself!

The sound of running water came from the bathroom.

Yin Han Sou picked up Yun Hui’s damp bag and walked to the balcony. Inside, a few books were slightly damp.

She flipped through them one by one and unexpectedly found a familiar-looking novel.

…

Just as Yin Han Sou had guessed.

She—also liked girls.

Yin Han Sou’s gaze drifted toward her bedroom. No wonder she blushed when she saw me—so easy to fool. Turns out, she was deliberately taking the bait.

The clock struck exactly five in the afternoon.

Yun Hui finished her shower, took out the hairdryer, and carefully dried her hair, all the while scanning the surroundings for Yin Han Sou.

Sister was in the study.

On Yin Han Sou’s desk were countless documents. She had to review each one carefully and meticulously, then sign her name at the end.

Some of the documents weren’t rigorous enough, making her shake her head in disapproval.

“Yin Han Shu.” A soft female voice sounded beside her.

Yin Han Sou glanced at the little one through her half-rimmed glasses. “Yun Hui, are you really a college student?”

Yun Hui replied, “Yes. So Sister’s name is ‘Function’? Do your parents like solving functions?”

Yin Han Sou pulled Yun Hui over and sat her on her lap.

She leaned over the desk to write her name, her drifting strands of hair brushing Yun Hui’s cheeks back and forth. A light fragrance wafted into Yun Hui’s nostrils, making her heart flutter.

She carefully wrote her name once more. “Look again.”

“Yin Han Shu?”

So clueless.

Yin Han Sou took Yun Hui’s hand and guided her to write her name on a blank sheet of paper.

“Yin, as in ‘logical and natural.’ Han, as in ‘cold.’ Sou—it means a waterless marsh. This character is pronounced…”

“Sou, same as the ‘sou’ in ‘old fisherman.'”

Yin Han Sou’s face was very close. “Got it now, little illiterate?”

Yun Hui stubbornly insisted, “I’ve never seen this character in textbooks! Clearly… it’s beyond the syllabus.”

Yin Han Sou pulled Yun Hui closer, her eyes filled with desire. “That just means your extracurricular knowledge isn’t sufficient. Should I help you accumulate more, so your mind can open up?”

Yun Hui’s heart raced like a startled deer. “Don’t look at me like that… I… I…”

She had no idea how to continue. Her breath grew uneven, as if she had fallen into a warm ocean current—wanting to sink into it, yet afraid of being dashed against the shore’s rocks.

Yin Han Sou held her even tighter.

She pressed Yun Hui’s forehead against her pale neck, her slightly husky voice traveling from her abdomen to Yun Hui’s ear. “I made you some red ginger tea in the kitchen pot. Go drink it later.”

“Oh… I’ll go now.”

Yun Hui tried to leave, but the person behind her held her even tighter. Clinging to her back, Yin Han Sou inhaled her fragrance. “Since you’re at my place, you have to listen to me. If I didn’t tell you to move now, then… don’t move. Otherwise…”

“Hmm?”

Her voice sent tingles down Yun Hui’s spine. Her body offered no resistance, softening completely.

“That day… on the soccer field… was that you, Sister?” Yun Hui nuzzled into her embrace.

Yin Han Sou gently pinched her soft cheek.

She didn’t resist.

“It was me. Why?”

Yun Hui evaded the question. “N-no reason… I… I don’t even know what I’m doing right now?”

After pinching her cheek for a while, Yin Han Sou reluctantly let her go.

“Alright, go drink the red ginger tea first. Don’t let it get cold.”

She took Yun Hui’s hand and led her into the kitchen, fetching a bowl of red ginger tea from the pot. She had Yun Hui sit on the sofa while she brought over a basin of hot water. From a hidden compartment in the coffee table, she took out a packet of herbs.

“Stretch out your feet.” Yin Han Sou bent down.

Yun Hui held the red ginger tea and obediently placed her feet into the basin.

Yin Han Sou added the herbs to the water and casually checked the temperature.

Just right.

Yun Hui gazed at Yin Han Sou with bleary eyes, feeling waves of warmth spreading through her heart.

The senior is so considerate…

Yin Han Sou rolled up her sleeve. “Don’t just stand there, drink it quickly.”

Yun Hui usually disliked drinking red ginger tea during her period, finding the taste too pungent and unaccustomed to it.

But for some reason, as soon as she arrived at the senior’s home, that feeling inexplicably vanished.

Vanished without a trace.

Yin Han Sou nodded slightly, gazing contentedly at the “soft persimmon” she had cultivated.

This slowly ripening soft persimmon before her eyes was gradually falling into her orchard.

Yun Hui~

Don’t celebrate too soon…

I’ll be expecting payment, you know.
