Interestingly enough, the thing about being reborn is the fact that you have to get used to being a toddler again.
Sukuna, at first, had been embarrassed about having to relearn walking, his first words disappointing both of his parents, with it being “Dismantle.”.
He had tested it out, and thankfully..
He was reborn with all of his previous life’s strength.
Everything compiled into a tiny child, who had hair as dark as the night sky, and eyes as crimson as blood.
More interestingly, though, was the fact that he was reborn into the body of Megumi Fushiguro.
Was this some sort of cosmic irony?
That his true form, despite it being hideous and the main reason why his first mother rejected him, was gone?
He had tested out some more experiments behind his parents’ back, and thankfully, he had brought both cursed techniques into this life as well.
His Shrine and Megumi Fushiguro’s Ten Shadows were both present, yet his mastery of the Ten Shadows was lacking.
He only had the divine dogs to rely on at this moment, as all the Shikigami he had tamed in his past life during his preparation to go up against Satoru Gojo, had been reset back to one.
Technically, two, but the divine dogs aren’t that powerful besides their tracking abilities anyways.
Unless he merged them into totality, which meant bringing a wolf the size of an apartment into reality..
He wouldn’t do that, since it would demolish the house his parents had bought.
Thankfully, his mastery of Shrine remained, which meant he can bring his Domain Expansion and other such abilities into this new world as well.
He wouldn’t do that, obviously, as the burn-out process after deploying a Domain would instantly give his still-developing brain heavy damage.
Unless he wanted to turn himself into a babbling idiot, his best bet was to tame the Shikigami yet again and use them to defend his parents shall they ever need it.
In this life, he swore he won’t be like his past self, who was content in being a lonely behemoth.
He would find reliable companions to spar with, fight alongside and grow with.
Another interesting thing to note was the strange reality in which he found himself reborn in.
This world had no Curse Users or Jujutsu Sorcerers, it had Villains and Heroes.
Yes, you heard him right, this world was a literal comicbook turned into reality.
He was thankful to Itadori Yuji now, since that brat had read all sorts of comics and watched every mediocre movie there ever was to increase his control over Cursed Energy.
His parents had accepted that he had a “mutation” type quirk, yet he begged to differ.
He was no weakling who would hide his powers, just as much as he wasn’t a fool that showed them off for the world to see.
The day when he manifested the divine dogs infront of Inko and Hisashi, who had come back from work (Note : Inko doesnt have a job, as Hisashi is present..
For now.) was the day they took him to get tested at a doctor’s clinic, which revealed that he had no quirk to speak of, yet his bizarre abilities weirded out the doctor.
The conclusion was that the machine that tested his blood had a glitch, and he registered his “Quirk’s” name as Cursed Energy.
The day when he turned 4 years old, however, was another matter entirely.
He had actually manifested a Quirk, the power system in which this reality relied on.
Sukuna had accepted that he might not have one, since his Cursed Energy manipulation and his Cursed Techniques were more than enough for him to keep up with the strongest of this world.
His Quirk, Flamebreath, was a power that he had inherited from his father, Hisashi Midoriya.
It was a self explanatory power that added to his already ridiculous power.
At this point in time, Sukuna was sure that he was the absolute strongest toddler, since no other child could possibly summon a hulking beast like Mahoraga and tame it with a single cleave.
Speaking of, he spent his 3rd year in this new reality re-taming all of the Shikigami he had lost control over, steadily building his power back to his peak.
Physically?
He was cannon fodder.
He wasn’t sure he could even break a wall with how weak this body was, so he’s gonna train and abuse it to its utmost potential.
As his thoughts concluded, Sukuna, sitting down on the grass with both of his legs crossed, was watching his now younger brother play with another boy of his age.
Yes, he did have a brother in this life as well.
No, he didn’t eat him in the womb, since they weren’t twins.
His younger brother, Izuku Midoriya, was a small ball of pure brightness in contrast to his older brothers more gloomy and “edgy” vibe.
Sukuna didn’t care about how others perceived him, as he was mostly engrossed in his own thoughts, but watching his own younger brother laugh and play with that spiky-haired blond, Katsuki, was it?
Regardless, it filled him with warmth and sadness.
He had spent the past four years reflecting back on his life during the Heian Era, in which he indulged in the boundless hatred accumulated within him.
Due to his mother’s rejection at his disfigured birth, the villagers wanting to murder him for simply existing, and despite all of that, the twisted form of love he held for his mother.
Since he understood her circumstances, he didn’t hold it against his own mother when she abandoned him.
He had only turned the blame to the villagers, who had judged, who had kicked, who had starved his mother, which forced him to devour his own twin brother in the womb.
Sukuna relied on that twisted form of love, feeding it to his hatred and letting it burn, as he made everybody in the Heian Era kneel to him.
Now he’s gonna rely on that same love, but to protect and cherish his loved ones in this life.
His adorable younger brother, whom he had never let go of once when he was born, was a very foolish and naive child.
That was fine, however, since children can enjoy that foolishness and naivety, as long as he was around.
He would protect Izuku and wouldn’t allow him to despair in this life, the same way he and his mother had despaired in the Heian Era.
Enjoy!
