“…Sukuna!
Suku-chan!!” came Mirio Togata’s enthusiastic shout, forcing the older of the three boys to deadpan at him, after he was kicked out of his thoughts by the aforementioned shouting.
“What do you want?” he asked with an annoyed tone, making Mirio flinch, before the boy replied to him in a guilty tone :”Me and Tamaki are gonna have to move back to the Chiba prefecture next year, so we thought we would tell you now.” ‘Why are they so nervous?’ Sukuna thought, before realizing the reason.
They were nervous he would break off their friendship.
The thought of it amused him to no end, as he cracked a smile and gave the boys a nod.”You can take my phone number, we’ll stay in contact that way.
I’ll also travel to Chiba prefecture if you guys want to hang out.” He didn’t give them any threats that would make them train with his absence, since Mirio and Tamaki were both hardworking boys already, so he felt it was unnecessary to” motivate” them like he motivated Izuku.
Mirio nodded at him, sighing in relief, as they exchanged phone contacts.
The reason why they were doing so now instead of all the free time they had before?
It was simple, Mirio had no phone, and Tamaki was too shy to even hand over a napkin.
That particular line of thought made him crack a smile, as he looked at the boys with an evil smirk.
“One last training session before you two are off?” he asked, receiving a nod from Mirio and a shaky nod from Tamaki.
They were in that trashfilled beach, Takoba municipal beach park, if he remembered correctly.
Mirio, Tamaki and Sukuna used this place mostly as a cover to train their abilities, since quirk usage in public was illegal for some reason…
Standing in the center of a clearing that he had made, he yawned.
“Are you gonna come at me, or are you both gonna stand there all day?” Sukuna taunted.
Mirio was the first to charge in, not yelling, thankfully, as Sukuna had beaten that particular trait out of him during the years that they spent together on this beach.
Instead, he used his quirk to slide underground, the lower half of his body submerged in the sand, while his upper half prepared to attack Sukuna.
Sukuna had taught him this trick, knowing that the minute Mirio turned off his quirk, he would be launched from the ground like a cannon.
He had also taught him to submerge his entire body into the ground, which gave him a surprise advantage over any unsuspecting opponent.
Mirio launched off the ground, his fist already moving towards Sukuna’s face at incredible speeds.
‘Everybody in this world has incredible combat and reaction speeds.’ Sukuna thought, which made sense, really.
The human body in here was also much, much tougher than the average human body in his past world.
His theory was that since every person was born with a Quirk gene, their physical body would adapt to either produce a Quirk, or adapt to become tougher than the average human if it failed to do so.
Although the body would still become stronger thanks to the successful production of a Quirk, Quirkless humans were nothing to scoff at in this reality either.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Sukuna reacted, tilting his head to the side and grabbing Mirio by his overextended arm, trying to flip the boy, only for Tamaki to suddenly emerge infront of him, his fist turned into a pincer that was heading for Sukuna’s head.
Sukuna grinned, knowing that the two boys must’ve come up with this combination themselves.
It was cute, really.
A literal pincer attack.
He dodged Tamaki’s pincer, but not before pulling Mirio alongside with him, making the boy yelp in pain as a certain pincer struck his rear end..
Safe to say, their last training session ended with Mirio in tears and Tamaki feeling incredibly ashamed, while Sukuna laughed to no end at their folly.
Returning home, Sukuna greeted his mother, before his attention focused back on the quiet Izuku.
“He’s been like that ever since he came back from school.” Inko whispered to him, not wanting Izuku to hear.
Sukuna frowned, before his eyes focused on a hidden burn mark that covered Izuku’s palm.
His eyes turned absolutely murderous for a second, before he calmed himself down.
Walking out of the house yet again, Sukuna set off to a familiar former neighbor’s house..
After some time passed, mostly 20-30 minutes, Sukuna knocked on a familiar door, before being greeted by what he could only assume was a female Katsuki.
This was his mother’s friend, he mused, having only spoken to her once during his years before school.
“Hello, Miss, may I speak to your son for a second?” he asked, not bothering to stand in the doorway, as he walked into the house without waiting for a response.
Mitsuki was shocked for a second, before responding : “Sure thing, Sukuna.
Oh, and how’s your mother been?
Tell her I’m sorry for not responding to her texts.
Modeling has become too exhausting for me to manage.” She spoke, while guiding Sukuna into the living room.
Once they both were properly seated on the couch, Mitsuki’s entire mood shifted, a tick mark growing on her forehead.
“Katsuki!
You damn brat, come down here this instant!
Izukus older brother has come to see you!” She yelled, before serving Sukuna some tea that he politely accepted.
Moments passed, a small figure appearing in the stairs, followed by a particularly loud explosion.
“I’m coming, you old hag!” Katsuki Bakugo, the boy who has been Izuku’s best friend since they were in diapers, appeared.
Almost immediately, Sukuna gave him an indifferent gaze, before scoffing.
“Izuku could easily beat your ass.” He spoke bluntly, his words making Mitsuki blink in confusion.
Katsuki, predictably, was enraged, immediately charging at Sukuna with his right hand extended.
“The hell did you say to me, you damned-!” His words were cut off, a hand grabbing his face, before Sukuna slammed him into the wall with a fraction of his strength.
He didn’t want to kill the boy, only threaten him.
“My brother was kind enough to be your friend, you little brat.
Either leave him alone and live on with your life, or become friends with him yet again.
Whatever you do, I don’t care.
What I do care about is the fact that you dared to hurt him.” Sukuna kept looking at him with a blank face, as if he was bored out of his mind already.
“Keep these words in mind.
There won’t be a next time.” He pulled his arm back, leaving the house with a stunned Mitsuki and a shocked Katsuki.
Fuck that apology he made in canon.
He basically got a slap on the wrist for mentally torturing Izuku for 11 years.
