The Chronicle of Taishi Xin

In this novel, I place my close friends on an alternate historical stage to commemorate our youth. Most major characters have real-life prototypes. To keep them as authentic as possible, many dialogues were refined by the prototypes themselves, and some plot branches were chosen by them. The New Han Empire is in the best of times and the worst of times. On one hand, the economy is booming and social change is imminent; on the other, northern border troubles are severe, and enemies both internal and external are stirring. Against this backdrop, Taishi Xin and his friends struggle against various foes as well as their own weaknesses.
